View Full Details of Maypole GroveThe manager and all the staff at Maypole have made my sister feel wanted and it feels like home for her. As a family we are so grateful for your help and support and everything you have done in her short time with you. Thank you all so very much.
Care at Maple Grove is excellent. The care and compassion all staff and management have shown my son is so reassuring, as a family we have peace of mind when we have to leave him in their care. All the family have learnt through experience that all care homes are not the same, thank goodness for Maypole Grove and thank all staff and management for looking after my son.
Just wow! Manager has always got time for you, always listens and acts very quickly to get things done eg: assessments as my partner is a new residents. Staff are fantastic, always talk to my husband like he is a person, always tell us what they have done and how he's been and they communicate fantastically.
My husband moved to Maypole Grove in November 2024. From the start of his transition and throughout his settling in period the service the care home, staff and mangers have provided has been outstanding. The staff go above and beyond for every single patient in the care provided to them. It's refreshing to see nothing is ever too much for the care team at Maypole Grove. There support, guidance and care has been amazing towards my husband. The rooms are very spacious and the food provided is of an extremely high quality and standard.
The care my mum has received so far during her stay at Maypole Grove has been amazing! The staff meet her every need with care, dignity and absolute professionalism. Every member of staff has a smile on their face. The service users are happy, clean, and welcomed by all. The service provisions are great. There are rooms on each floor to meet care needs. Rooms for family get-togethers. Each and every event is celebrated. We had afternoon tea provided on Mother's Day which was a beautiful gesture! As a nurse myself - I always feel I have to be critical or ask questions to get answers however, the home has been open and honest at all times and I honestly know I can sleep at night knowing my mum is receiving the best care we could have possibly hoped for. I cannot thank the home enough for making such a tough time for our family so much better! I applaud the manager and her team for everything they have done and continue to do.
I am very impressed by the care given to my husband and myself since his transfer to Maypole Grove last year and feel very supported by caring and approachable staff. When anything has arisen requiring adjustments to his care, appropriate responses have been made very quickly. As the home continues to 'nestle in' new staff have been brought in to allow it to be fully open. The new activity organisers are busy with a variety of projects and events. They hold monthly service user meetings (relatives/friends can also have input). Birthdays and special events are celebrated. During warm weather one can often see service users out with a carer in the local parks. The home now has its own dedicated maintenance guy who has got stuck in to organise repairing and get on top of maintenance jobs. My husband is really benefitting from the high staff ratio.
