View Full Details of Treeton GrangeThe care home is clean and well maintained and does not have the smell associated with old peoples home. The staff are well presented polite and friendly. The only complaints is that they don't walk the residents enough or motivate them to move which is important for their health and well being. There is no resident physio so this has to be arranged separately. Overall a good respite for a couple of weeks.
Extremely pleased with the wonderful care and support given to mum whilst she was there for a short time end of December to mid January on end-of-life care. All staff from maintenance, cleaning, laundry, care, meals, nursing, activities were fantastic. (hope I've not left anyone out!). Thank you so much, Mum's family really appreciate your care and attention and real respect for the individuals in your care.
Treeton Grange Nursing Home is absolutely the home for your loved ones. My mother has been in there for a short while until her passing. We couldn't have found a better place for her to spend her last days. The staff are absolutely fantastic, checking and caring for her needs, the home is clean and pleasant. All staff deserve a medal. From me and my family a big thank you to you all.
Lovely staff and since moving to this care home my grandmother seems to be a lot better in herself than all the previous places she had been before. Would definitely recommend to others. Good size rooms as well.
My mum is extremely well cared for. The staff are excellent kind and considerate and treat their residents with dignity. Cleanliness is excellent. Safety and security are of great importance. Lovely, well-decorated rooms.
My father was in the care of Treeton Grange for only 12 days but we were extremely satisfied with the quality of care, from the manager and administrator to the nursing staff, care assistants, catering and laundry staff. My father's needs were met with kindness, compassion, patience and efficiency. When he passed away I was treated very respectfully but with affection and sincere kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend Treeton Grange.
Our dear mother was admitted, ultimately for her end of life, at the home, after we found caring for Mum for several weeks, day and night, most exhausting. The manager had a wonderful disposition where she was most delicate, explaining how Mum would be cared for. My sister and I were impressed with the IT system's accuracy of each person in the nursing home, where they had a ‘safeguard’ system that identified all residents of all daily activities that needed to be completed hourly. This gave us a confidence of how the nursing home was run. Having visited our mother daily for several hours, we witnessed the kindness and gentleness shown to our mum. We applaud the nurses and carers that had attentive, caring ways and were all extremely proficient in their roles but not only that they also care about us and recognised what we were going through. The recommendation for Treeton Grange is off the scale. We were so truly blessed that we found this place!
My mother was in Treeton Grange Nursing Home for almost 13 months after being diagnosed with terminal colorectal cancer. I cannot speak highly enough of the care, understanding, respect and support she received there during the different phases of her illness up to her death. Always sympathetic, always hard working and attentive to my mother's needs, the medical staff and carers were outstanding. As the visiting family, we were always received with kindness, generosity and friendship. This in turn reinforced our feeling that mum was being well looked after by people who truly cared. I have no hesitation in recommending Treeton Grange Nursing Home to those looking for a safe and caring place for their family member.
Treeton Grange was the home for my parents for their last two years. Both had different needs which were catered for. For my stepfather, this was dementia-related. The care was tolerant and sympathetic. When my stepfather passed away earlier in the year the support provided, by the home, to my mother, both before and after, and to the close family, was exemplary. Unfortunately, Mum passed away six months thereafter and again the support to the family was much appreciated. It was only after Mum had passed away that I noticed she had kept a diary of her days at Treeton Grange. A consistent remark was that everyone was caring. She was accepting that not every day could be perfect, but the home did provide a homely feel, and the care was the important factor, and that generally speaking, could not be faulted.
Mum was a resident for nearly two years, following a stroke. The care and attention she received during this time was exemplary. All the staff show great compassion and make sure the residents are made to feel at home during a difficult time. Nothing is too much trouble and after Mum passed away they offered their help and support. I came to regard everyone as my second family and felt confident knowing Mum was well looked after. I will always be grateful to Treeton for making Mum feel safe and comfortable and for giving me peace of mind. I would highly recommend the home and the manager is always available to offer help and advice. All the staff are friendly and on hand to offer support when it is needed. Family and friends are made to feel part of the caring team and are welcome to visit and participate in organised events and trips. I will forever be grateful for everything they did for Mum and myself.
My mum was in the home for three weeks. She had multiple health problems and was in a lot of pain. She was made to feel as if she was part of a family with constant attention. She was mobile again after a couple of months of lying in her chair. I can't speak highly enough of the care and attention my mother received.
A truly amazing place where the staff care not only for the residents but for the whole family. We would not have gotten through my brother's final week without them. The care and compassion that was shown, both up to and after his passing, was exceptional and we will be forever grateful to them for all that they did.
Dad has been in Treeton Grange since April. Overall, he is kept clean and seems to have a good rapport with the staff that care for him. Our concerns lie with the fact that on many occasions he has cold, untouched drinks at his bedside. He cannot feed/drink himself, so I feel at times he is dehydrated. He also seems to have to sit in his own mess and we have to ask to have him changed? I appreciate that everyone is busy but where is the dignity in that?
Very happy with the care provided since day one, even though it took Mum a while to settle in. Management is very approachable, any questions or problems are always answered and sorted out straight away, always available to give us reassurance. Care staff are always pleasant and helpful, Mum gets on with all carers and management and tells us how well she gets looked after. Mum's involved in and enjoys activities and outings and going out for meals now Covid restrictions have eased. The home is always clean and warm with no smells. Lovely surroundings and gardens to sit in the summer. Easy to park.
Overall, Treeton Grange is perfect for my mum with dementia. The staff are amazing and keep me informed of all changes/incidents. The rooms are good but a couple of issues with maintenance/broken windows that were quickly resolved. I visit 3-4 times a week and they are so welcoming.
I cannot fault the staff in Treeton Grange they all seem to be very caring. I know Mum joins in with activities as I've seen things she has made. Occasionally we have been sat waiting for her when going out, but I believe this is due to being short-staffed. Overall, a lovely home with beautiful grounds.
We are extremely happy with the care Mum gets. I find the management and care staff extremely kind and helpful. My mum is treated with respect and dignity. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the beautiful grounds are well kept.
I feel my in-laws have the necessary care and support needed. My mother-in-law particularly is a lot healthier than she was and feels happier now she has care/support 24/7. My father-in-law is finding his situation difficult due to his dementia, but he is being cared for appropriately.
My mother was there for only a short period of time before she passed away, however, the care was excellent and she was very well looked after. All the staff were more than helpful and gave us a lot of support. The place itself was very clean and tidy and offered a pleasant environment. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a suitable place for their loved ones.
I found the home extremely helpful and dedicated. From the manager, through the staff and the activities coordinator. The home is clean, well maintained and overall, an excellent environment for your loved one. Dignity and support is a high priority. I would have no hesitation to recommend Treeton Grange.
