View Full Details of Banff Care HomeMy father stayed here for approximately three months before he sadly passed away recently. The care he was given was most impressive, and verything was dealt with promptly, kept up to date with different ways of his care etc. Always very welcoming, both day and night. Lovely, bright room with own toilet. Very pleasant staff and always a tea/coffee if you so wished.
Our mum had been a resident of the care home for nearly 3 years before she passed away a few weeks ago, the care she received was second to none. The staff knew mum very well and always respected her and treated her with dignity. She had a lovely large room with her own toilet which was kept to the highest standard of cleanliness. The care home always kept us informed of any changes and regular reviews or meetings that were needed. The food was always good with plenty of choices and there was plenty of fly cups if needed for both residents and visitors. Keep up the good work.
My husband spent a week at Banff Care home very recently for respite care. This was his first stay. He is profoundly disabled and has not always fared well in respite care. He is cared for at home by me, with assistance for 3 hours each day by a carer. I was apprehensive about him, of course, since this was his first visit, although I had previously made a visit and introduced myself and I was made very welcome. I was very impressed by all the members of staff we met and the manager was really lovely. When I collected him a week later, he was looking absolutely marvellous and had obviously been extremely well cared for. I was so happy and I am looking forward to his next period of respite there, rather than dreading it as I have in the past.
