View Full Details of Frenchay Park Gardens Care HomeMy husband was transferred to Frenchay Park Bristol early in 2022 with dementia. He had failing speech, sight and mobility, which worsened over time and as a result was very vulnerable. As a person, whilst friendly and sociable, he always valued solitude and/or silence and preferred classical music, so the security of his own space was important to him. The staff at Frenchay, led by the manager, gave him that security with loving care, which we as a family valued very much and have recommended.
The staff are very helpful and care immensely for the residents. They go the extra mile! My nan has been very happy since living there. She enjoys the food and looks forward to the Sunday roasts. The nurses are very kind and go out of their way to make my nan feel comfortable.
I really can't thank everyone enough. My mother is very well looked after. Spotlessly clean, well fed and happy. All the staff are lovely and helpful. All in all, in my opinion, I would not put my mother anywhere else.
Thanks to everyone for such excellent care that you gave Mum during her illness and up until she sadly passed away. The care she received was exceptional and I could not have wished for more. I found all the staff very warm and friendly and the home is absolutely spotless, they all work very hard and make a fantastic team.
My Aunt was a resident at Frenchay Park Gardens for just over three months until she sadly passed away last week. The manager and her team are absolutely fantastic. They are dedicated, committed and very caring. In my Aunts final weeks, the staff treated her with dignity, compassion, care and love. I cannot thank them enough. I cannot rate this nursing home highly enough! Thanks for the wonderful care and support to not only my Aunt but to me as well.
My mum stayed at Frenchay Park Gardens for just over three months until she, unfortunately, passed away. As a family, we could not have been more pleased with the level of care she received. All the staff treated my mum with the greatest respect and were always welcoming to us, as family members and her many friends who visited her. The home is very modern, spotlessly clean, light and airy. The staff take the time to sit and talk to the residence and there are also activities for those who wish to join in. The food is also amazing. To quote my mum "it was like staying in a 10*hotel". I cannot recommend it highly enough.
My Mum came to Frenchay Park for respite care after suffering a nasty fall and being in general poor health. The nursing care and general care she has received is fantastic. All the staff are friendly and caring. Mum was one of the first residents and after her initial respite period, is now considering becoming a permanent resident. The home is bright and airy, all the rooms are large with full en-suite wet rooms and TV's. The home is spotlessly clean and warm. There is also a pretty garden for residents to enjoy in nice weather. My Mum has suffered from erratic diabetes for many years, but since being in Frenchay Park, the nurses have been constantly monitoring her blood sugars and it has now settled down for the first time in many years. I would have absolutely no reservation in recommending Frenchay Park. The manager and her team do a fantastic job.
