Dad has been a resident for nearly 12 months and he has received the very best care. All the staff are friendly and very caring. He is very settled and enjoys all the activities that are offered. As family we are always welcomed and kept up to date with how Dad is. Thank you all
Excellent service and care for my mum, she's been here for nearly 11 years and her health is really good for her age, mobility is not so good but when she's nearly 93 I don't expect too much, still has sense of humour and that has a lot to do with the staff. Thank you for caring for her..
My Mum has spent nearly the last 2 years at St Stephens. It took her a little time to settle in, as she really wanted to be back at her home in her favourite arm chair. However, staff at St Stephens have worked wonders with her, and now Mum is really settled there. It's great knowing that Mum is safe, and looked after extremely well. Her diet is so much better now. She does lots more activities than ever now. They have occasions when they have visits from singers, birds of prey, and lots of other various activities. The staff are friendly towards myself, and I'm yet to have any problems in all the time I've been visiting. Keep up the good work!
My mother has been in the care of St Stephens for nearly six months now and I couldn't be happier with the way she has settled in. She loves all the staff members and constantly tells me how nice everyone is to her. There seems to be a different activity going on every time I visit and when I've been at meal times the food always looks really good. It is a real weight of my mind to know mum is happy and being well looked after.
The carers in Worcester Care Home really care for the residents and I'm welcomed when I visit my husband weekly.
Entry to St Stephen's is much easier whilst still maintaining security. All staff are friendly, kind, caring and considerate, doing an incredible job. Administration is thorough and efficient. There seems to be good liaison with medical professionals when input is required. Thank you for looking after my mother who is 95.
Mum was 94 yesterday and had the best day. The staff made such a fuss of her. In the afternoon the band played and again she was the centre of attention. The kitchen baked a lovely cake and everyone sang Happy Birthday. It is a long time since I have seen her so animated. Thank you all.
Initially ignored by staff although rang the bell several times, over ten-minute wait in the rain! Finally let in to see resident, opted to sit in the lounge, but could not get out of her room due to automatic door lock, she has dementia and forgot the code so waited until staff eventually responded to call bell. Asked staff why she was locked in, and questioned fire regulations, on leaving we were locked in the reception area, ignored by staff for fifteen minutes before exiting the home. Not impressed by the visit.
I was made to feel very welcome during my visit to St Stephens. I was very reassured to see a happy, relaxed and family atmosphere. My questions, however trivial, were answered with kindness and patience. I would be very happy for my husband to it his home.
All the staff work very hard and are extremely polite and caring.
My dad was on respite at St Stephens care home for a week in February. The staff at the home were very friendly from the moment my dad's respite started. All the staff went above and beyond for my dad. The management team supported my dad and myself when my dad came on respite. This was a first for both of us. The activities are brilliant and my dad enjoyed joining in. My dad really enjoyed his stay and said he can't wait till his next respite there.
Very good and helpful, no problems at all, first class.
All good staff, all very good.
So appreciative of the care and support at St Stephens. My husband has dementia and I was exhausted looking after him. Now I have my life back! My thanks to all staff, you are the best, and the mid-morning cup of tea is so welcome when I visit.
My father has been in the home since January 2023. He has settled in really well. The care he's been receiving has been brilliant, everyone has been really friendly. It gives me peace of mind to know he is looked after really well. I cannot fault any member of staff at all.
My mother has only been a resident at St Stephens care home since early July, but in that short time she has received excellent care. I think it will take Mum a while to settle and I cannot say she is happy living in residence care and has decided to stop eating as she normally would. The staff have been brilliant in helping Mum to settle in and encouraging her to eat properly. One member of staff on the care team told Mum she was going to the local supermarket and offered to buy her anything she might fancy for her tea. Whenever I talk to a member of the care team, they seem to be right up to date with how Mum is doing and quickly raise any concerns they have with me. I cannot fault the care she is receiving and would have no hesitation in recommending St Stephens to anyone, should they need the services of a care home.
The staff have been very good. Also, the carers have been very good. They have a very good attitude when they talk to you. The care has been very good. The carers work very hard. They do care for their residents. I can not fault any carers, they do care. I'm delighted to have met them. All the staff are fantastic.
St Stephens have been excellent to my dad. The help and care he has received has been amazing. All the staff have been amazing to Dad and have been a big help. The staff have been great company for Dad and have always been willing to have a laugh with him. The staff have been very kind, to both myself and my dad.
My dad came in for two weeks of respite, and we couldn't have asked for better care. All the staff throughout the home (all departments) were caring, kind and compassionate towards my dad and also ourselves. It was a nice, friendly atmosphere. We could visit anytime, and the staff were always on hand to chat about my dad's case. His room was clean and comfy with a TV, much to his delight. The food, drinks, etc, were well-balanced and good.
