View Full Details of Clifton Manor Residential HomeAfter being resistant my Godmother was no longer able to cope on her own. From the start the home were very welcoming and caring, being very patient due to dementia. Since arriving and settling in I have a noticeable change for the good including gaining weight from the meals she receives and being much happier due to the constant kind care she is receiving. The staff are always willing to speak and are always on hand for queries. It's taken a great weight off our shoulders knowing our Godmother is safe, happy and healthy despite the dementia progressing. Thank you !
My dad had been living at the home for nearly 5 years. From the moment he moved in, the staff cared and made him and me feel welcome. During Covid, they did everything they could to keep us updated. During the last few days of his life, they supported him and the family making us feel at home. While there has never been any doubt of the care my dad received during his time here, to witness the 24 hour love first hand that all the staff had for my dad and his well being was heartwarming and certainly helped us get through the harrowing end of life that is dementia. Without question, if I'm ever in need of a care home again this will be the place I'll choose.
The staff have been extremely helpful and caring. We could not have asked for any more. They have gone above and beyond. The home is clean and happy. Any concerns have been dealt with immediately and competently. I am very reassured that my parents are being cared for diligently and with immense patience and compassion.
My mother spent the last 16 months of her life in Clifton Manor. We felt she was safe and the staff looked after her well. Neither my brother nor I lived nearby so we had to heavily rely on the staff for her care and treatment. We always felt that her needs were considered and that every effort was made to make her life comfortable and happy.
Mum was resident at the home for the final 6 weeks of her life. She was 94, very frail and we were no longer, as a family, able to provide the nursing care she needed as she neared the end of her life. From day 1 Mum was looked after by caring staff, who treated her with dignity and kindness throughout. They also dealt with family members in a friendly, courteous manner. We were often offered refreshments and we felt the staff’s desire to assist was always genuine. We were encouraged to visit Mum throughout her short stay, could come and go at all times and ours and Mum’s need for privacy was always respected. Mum’s religious views were also similarly respected. It’s true to say that the home could do with a lick of paint and some refurbishment but the quality of care and commitment of staff, both nursing and general care, more than made up for any cosmetic deficiencies. All in all, we thank the staff at the home for making Mum’s final days as comfortable as possible.
My mother was a resident here for 4 years. I cannot fault the care she received in all the time she was there. The staff were so kind to her in her final weeks. The management was in touch all the time if a problem arose. Thank you so much from all the family.
My mother has been a resident at Clifton Manor Residential Home for some time on the residential side. The manager is very good and helpful. Staff seem caring and want to do their best for their residents. I do think that the fabric of the building is in need of some TLC but in these financially difficult times the care of the residents is a priority and so it will have to wait. Overall a good place for my mother.
I cannot begin to say how wonderful all the staff are at Clifton Manor. The care and attention given to my mum were fantastic right up to her passing away. They truly care and always gave 100%. All I can say is thank you all
My aunty is a resident at Clifton Manor and the manager of the residential side as been extremely helpful and organised everything we wanted for my aunty. She's been there a year now and is happy with the care she is getting and communication from the home/management.
