View Full Details of Wild AcresExcellent all round. Five stars from me. People have no fear of putting their loved ones here. Superb!
I have been impressed with everything here since the day I walked in the door! Staff are friendly and caring. Always polite and respectful. Cleanliness is top marks. This home does not have the smells associated with other care homes I have visited. Cannot fault anything, top marks all round!
Wild Acres has been a blessing for us as a family as I was concerned when I knew my wife had to go into residential care. Throughout the process the staff were caring and respectful, easy to talk to and welcoming. My wife has been living there for 3 months now and they help her in a way that at 85 I am no longer able to. The team there, along with the caring and professional manageress, mean that I am reassured that my wife is in capable hands throughout her stay there. I would highly recommend Wild Acres and the team who work there.
The care my father in law received during his time at Wild Acres was exceptional. We were all treated like family and it made a difficult few weeks so much easier. We can't thank them enough and I would recommend them to everyone.
My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer and, as he became less able, made the decision to move to Wild Acres. As soon as he arrived he felt safe and comfortable and the outstanding care from all staff enabled us all to spend his remaining time together without worry. I can't thank the team enough for everything they did, going above and beyond at every possible opportunity.
Choosing a home for Mum was an incredibly difficult choice but I'm delighted we chose Wild Acres. The staff are incredibly kind, patient and helpful, and ensure my mum gets the care she deserves. As well as providing Mum's care needs, they also build a great bond and relationship with the guests which makes it feel like a large family home rather than a care home.
Wildacres is such a caring and friendly environment, my husband is being so well cared for and feels very safe and comfortable. I am made to feel welcome at all times. I can't thank the staff enough for all they have done for us.
Very attentive staff, warm and friendly. Clean areas and staff were very helpful.
Attended twice this week. The carers put on an 'Elvis' afternoon for Dad's birthday and then a birthday party three days later for his official birthday.
We enjoyed a lovely tea party for my grandad's birthday, the staff went above and beyond to make Grandad feel special.
With my wife now a resident for five months, it is very apparent that she has settled in very well indeed. She eats well, takes her medicines and participates generally very well in group activities. The term 'care' is very much the ethos that makes Wild Acres a desired new home and can recommend it to others.
Lovely home, everyone is very caring. Residents have lots of activities. Family and friends always welcome. So glad my husband is safe and very well cared for.
Jut enjoyed a wonderful summer party at Wild Acres for the residents and family members. Wonderful BBQ food and puddings and so much effort put into this by the staff.
My mother-in-law has been a resident in Wild Acres since January 2023. She has received exemplary care and attention since she moved here. A lovely quote she made when she first moved in: 'I never wanted to move to a home but this home is my home and I love it.' Thank you staff, this has really made her life happy.
Very friendly and positive atmosphere. Lovely staff and beautiful place. Took a wander through the garden and it's so peaceful and engaging.
Great weekly activities are organised for residents. Staff always welcoming and helpful.
He attended the summer BBQ held for residents and family. It was a great experience and we were made to feel very welcome. The food and drink was to an excellent standard as was the singer who sung everyone's favourites. Unfortunately because of the weather he couldn't experience the wonderful garden and patio area very much.
Mum seems very happy at Wild Acres. She joins in with as many activities as she can.
Dad continues to thrive at Wild Acres. Despite his cognitive issues, his health is in good order and he is well looked after. The care, dedication and professionalism of staff ensures his needs are met. We're so happy as a family that Dad is settled, feels at home and is part of the Wild Acres family.
My great aunt has loved her experience at Wild Acres and all the staff really care for her and look after her. My great aunt is always laughing and making jokes with residents and staff alike. I would recommend this home to anyone.
