View Full Details of Priory Court Care Home - Avery HealthcareMy mother was a resident at Priory Court for several years. We were always happy with the care she received. The staff were wonderful - they got to know Mum so well and were always caring. In her last few weeks when she was really poorly they went the extra mile to make sure her last few days were as comfortable as they could be. They were also really good with us - taking time to talk to us and make sure we were ok too. Thank you all so much.
Priory Court has maintained a high standard of care throughout my mother's stay since October 2022. The team has dealt with the advancing symptoms of dementia skillfully, in a professional manner, considering all the challenges that her condition presents. As a result, she remains stabilized and comfortable, thanks to an environment where the meals are of a consistently high standard and the activities program provides a critical social aspect to her wellbeing.
My mother has been a resident at Priory Court Care Home in Stamford since August 2024. The care that she receives is excellent. All the staff are very caring and the whole environment of the care home is exemplary.
After 2 years of living at Priory Court my friend sadly died a few weeks ago at the age of 94. He loved living there and was very happy. And I had peace of mind that he was being very well cared for. The home has very high standards of care and he was cared for individually according to his own needs which reassured me as my friend's needs fluctuated. Whatever time of day we visited the home it has a welcoming happy atmosphere. All the staff go the extra mile whether it's for meals or washing clothes or care needs they make the residents comfortable. The building is beautiful inside and out and I would recommend Priory Court to anyone looking for a care home placement. It's a lovely place. Thank you so much for taking care of my friend.
Thank you Priory Court - staff and managers. As I sit with my mum having lunch, playing her favourite songs. Special times. All the staff keep her and I going. Activities, personal care, the list is endless. Thank you all.
After a serious fall at home and subsequent hospitalisation, my mother could no longer live alone at home. We were fortunate she was offered a bed at Priory Court. It is still very early days, but she is settling in well. The staff and management have been so kind, helpful and supportive. Mum is in the best place, and as her family, we have peace of mind that she is safe and well cared for.
My aunt was in Priory Court until she recently passed. I found the home was outstanding in its care and compassion that was given, especially towards the end of her life. Nothing was too much trouble from any member of staff and I was welcomed into a loving friendly supportive home that cared about the family as much as they did my aunt. I would not hesitate in recommending priory court to anyone for care of their loved ones.
When visiting my mother in a Priory Court I am always greeted with a smile and politeness from all members of staff. My mother is always cared for, for example, she is kept clean, has plenty of good food, has a wonderful room and often takes part in the daily activities if she so wishes. I can’t praise the staff enough as they go the extra mile to ensure that my mother is happy and healthy. I have experience of several other care homes and this one is by far the best in terms of care, environment, activities and meals. Thank you for taking good care of my mother.
Prior Court did an excellent job of looking after my dad. A family-run feel with a well-run effectiveness, I had confidence in their ability to provide the right care. As my dad’s needs changed, we were able to work closely with the senior care staff and management to adjust the care to suit his needs. We were listened to but also guided by the team’s experience. We owe a lot to the Priory Court team’s ability to manage the day-to-day care, leaving our family to spend valuable time with Dad, reminiscing and making the best of that time together. Thank you!
I moved my husband to Priory Court Care Home very reluctantly; I wanted him to be at home. Now, I cannot praise the Priory Court highly enough. The management is superb, and the carers are more than helpful and friendly and seem to be happy and motivated in their roles. Overall, the care and genuine kindness my husband receives is second to none. I can't thank Priory Court enough.
Following my sister's 1st full hip replacement operation, I had booked her into Priory Court Care Home for 4 weeks of care and recuperation. My sister lives on her own and is listed as a vulnerable adult with Turner's syndrome since birth. The quality of care at Priory Court was exceptional and I would like to thank every member of staff for their dedication and kindness to my sister throughout her stay, as it enhanced the healing process from her major operation and offered her peace of mind. My sister is due to have her other hip operated on in early 2024 or possibly earlier and she will be returning to Priory Court for her 4 weeks of care and recuperation. With grateful thanks.
Lovely welcoming home. Incredibly helpful manager and attentive staff. Good range of food and activities. Always impeccably clean. Treated my aunt with dignity and compassion during her final months. Thank you.
I am so pleased that we chose Priory Court Care Home when we needed some respite care for our mother. She was well cared for and made friends that she was able to join for meals and coffee in the mornings! We were concerned that she would feel lonely but needn't have worried as everyone was so welcoming and she became very fond of both staff and other residents. She has said she will be very happy to go there again for a holiday if we go away. Thank you Priory Court.
Priory Court Care Home is a very pleasant facility and my mother-in-law appears to be happy and contented. The staff work very well as an efficient and professional unit and it is clear they make every effort to make my mother-in-law content and reassured. There are many regular activities and events which are good to see.
Mum is heading towards needing residential care but is very anxious about taking that step away from full independence. She had a week of respite care to get used to Priory Court in July 2023. I was able to view and choose her room from those available. It was spacious and comfortable with a great view from the window. The team were so genuinely warm, friendly, reassuring and accommodating, I knew immediately that Mum was in the right place. She made friends quickly, ate better than she has in months and was seen to smile! I'm confident that Priory Court will be where she chooses to stay permanently.
My mum is so very happy at Priory Court Care Home - Avery Healthcare. It’s a fantastic care home with amazing friendly staff. We really couldn’t ask for better care. Mum has now been resident in Priory Court for a year and the staff have been amazing in what has been a difficult time for the family as we were upset that we could no longer care for her adequately at home. Mum is very settled and happy and there is always lots going on to keep her occupied. The staff are like a second family to her.
My mum spent six months as a resident after a number of respite stays. The care and support she received was excellent. Sadly she passed away in March but the care was absolutely wonderful everyone was so supportive of us also. I can’t thank them enough. This home is so friendly and welcoming and would recommend to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.
My friend lived at Priory Court in Stamford for 3 weeks of respite. She was given good, safe care with dignity. There were always plenty of staff around who were welcoming and helpful. The manager is happy to talk with relatives/friends as is the deputy manager.
Mum entered Priory Court for respite care having been discharged from hospital but not able to cope at home. Within weeks she had made the decision that she would rather stay, loving life and her new friend, rather than returning home. She still enjoys independence but is safe, secure, entertained and, above all, has no worries as everything she needs, and more, are all on hand. The staff are lovely, caring and thoughtful.
