View Full Details of Church View Nursing & Residential HomeMy father in law recently came to this home for 6 weeks of rehabilitation. He sadly passed away but for the short time he was in Church View Nursing and Residential Home I can honestly say the care staff were brilliant, he received excellent care and nothing was any trouble to the staff. Two members of staff in particular were so caring and fantastic with him, they probably don't get the praise they deserve. My only hope would be for other care/nursing homes to be the same. Thank you so much for looking after Dad the way you did in his final days.
My dad of 94 years young spent his end of life care in Church View Nursing and Residential Home in Stockton. From the minute he arrived to the day he passed, from the nurses in charge, to care staff, house keepers, cooks and activity staff, all were amazing. The care my dad received was fabulous. They made him feel at home. He loved them all. Plus they were great with myself. They still are now as my dad's friend is in Church View receiving great care. Thank you to every one of the staff members. Great work everyday.
My mum spent her last few months in Church View Nursing & Residential Home and from day one, the staff were so caring and brilliant. It was like a home from home. Not only was my mum well cared for, my family were as well. The dedication, compassion and support of every member of staff in Church View was 100%. I would recommend Church View without hesitation.
As our father entered his final days we decided as a family to place him into Church View Care Home. Every member of the staff were very professional in everything they did, caring, helpful, understanding, with nothing too much trouble as we watched our dad in his final moments. They kept us fed and watered and even gave us a room to catch up on the little sleep we managed. We were allowed to come and go as we wanted 24 hours a day. When his passing came, they gave us the time needed to gather our thoughts. Every member of staff should be proud of their dedication and caring nature as it shone through in everything they did. We would definitely recommend Church View and many thanks to the manager and her wonderful team.
My parent was a short term rehabilitation resident and I was very unhappy with how the Management team responded to enquiries about their welfare and care plan. Much better communication is required with families.
My wife has recently been in Church View with a terminal illness and the care and comfort given to my wife could not have been better had I kept her at home with myself. Nothing at any time, night or day, was too much for any member of staff, from the cleaners to the main charge nurses, anyone would put themselves out to help. My wife was in here for over 5 months and all my visits were lengthy ones - lot after working myself and the kitchen staff would always ask if I had eaten, taking care of my welfare as well as my wife. I can't praise these people enough, honestly, I'd definitely give these people 10 out of 10 for caring without any hesitation. I wouldn't hesitate to advise putting their loved ones anywhere else other than here. I only have respect and admiration for their unrivalled care.
My mum was a resident at this care home from April 2018 until October 2018 when she sadly passed away. The care she received was fabulous and we couldn't have asked for better. She had a rapidly progressing illness that saw her needs change on a regular basis and the staff at the home always did everything possible to ensure Mum was as happy and comfortable as she could be at all times. We, as friends and family, felt welcome at all times and found the staff to be polite and courteous even in the face of some difficult behaviour. The food was delicious and even when she started to not eat they persisted in making pretty much anything we requested to tempt her whilst still respecting her personal choices. When we knew Mum's time was coming to an end I was at the home for probably 21-22 hours each day and the staff acted to ensure I was as comfortable as possible during a difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble and I could not have asked for better support during a very trying time.
Dark dingy rooms, not too clean. Care is not what one would expect for loved ones. Clients and visitors not treated with respect.
My Nanna went into Church View in September 2015 and the care she received was excellent. It was like home from home and the staff treated you like family not like a visitor. My Nanna was very happy there and the staff went that extra mile to make sure of that. The support we received as a family was second to none. My Nanna sadly passed away in January 2016 even then the nursing staff, the carers and the manager went that extra mile to make sure my Nanna was comfortable and supported the family at this sad time.
I worked a night shift as a RGN working for Pin Point. The home is run extremely well and the level of care is outstanding. The care staff were excellent, caring and professional. A fantastic home.
