View Full Details of Belvedere LodgeThe care Mum has had at Belvedere Lodge has been amazing. They have supported Mum really well. The carers are so good with Mum with all her needs. The carers are really caring. The management is amazing, nothing sis too much for them. They also looked after Dad, (non-resident) when he was ill, while visiting Mum. They also support us, the family, and are always there for us. They are amazing. Would highly recommend Belvedere.
The care my nan receives is fantastic. The carers are all lovely. The management is good at letting us know about any changes to Nan's medication and needs. Overall, I am very happy with the care my nan receives at Belvedere Lodge and would recommend Belvedere Lodge Care Home.
Fantastic care home, fantastic staff, made me feel at home. Thank you.
It's like being in the outside world, you meet people, some you get on with, some you don't. The staff are excellent, it's nice how staff are from different backgrounds and can relate to the residents. The home is lovely and the different activities are great.
The home is very well-managed. The home is clean and well-maintained. Staff are excellent. My dad feels safe and secure. Probably could benefit from more activities and attention paid to clothing, as often he is in other people's clothes.
No problems, well-informed on anything relating to my husband. Staff and management are kind and caring.
The care my mum receives is brilliant. The staff and management are so cheerful, supportive and caring. Mum is safe, very well cared for and all her needs are catered for. They are always willing to help out if we (family) cannot take to specialist appointments. Nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this care/residential home without hesitation.
Great homely feel, manager and staff are fantastic, very friendly! There are lots of activities: quizzing, music ect. Some other care homes are to clinical I'm sure some might prefer that sort of environment but not us. Great home cooked food.
My mum is a resident at Belvedere Lodge and we are so happy with the care provided by all of the staff. All staff have also been a great support for all of us and took special care of our dad when visiting Mum. Thank you for just being so great,
We will always be incredibly grateful to Belvedere Lodge for firstly giving our friend, brother and uncle a safe and caring home and for providing the best care possible during his final few years. I really feel the manager and staff went above and beyond. Communication was open and I was always made to feel welcome and involved in life at Belvedere. I received regular updates. The manager had a clear plan at all times and this was adapted where necessary as time went on. Belvedere has good relationships with other stakeholders, such as the GPs and the NHS support services, which helps ensure complete care is provided. Being a smaller home is a benefit as it ensures it retains the feel of a house and residents receive a closer level of care and great relationships are formed between staff, residents and families. A larger home would not have suited our situation so the environment was perfect for our care needs.
I have found staff at Belvedere Lodge to be very friendly, patient and welcoming. They engage with the residents well and help to make a homely environment. They try to help residents when they are having down days or struggling with their memory and always go the extra mile.
My grandmother came to live at Belvedere Lodge following a head trauma. It was a difficult decision to make as a family but as soon as she arrived we felt very happy with the service. The care home manager went above and beyond to settle her in and alleviate any worries we had. It was all very person-centred and definitely made the process easier for all. We have been able to treat the home as an extension to our family and appreciate the staff that are working with Nan. The deputy is always attentive to her needs along with the care team (too many to name), this is a home-from-home type of environment. Nan has been there approximately eighteen months and has a good rapport with staff. We have got to know all the residents and it feels like one big family.
At first, I was very apprehensive as I had a bad experience when my dad was in respite care at another home. So when I decided that he needed to go into respite again I called Belvedere Lodge & arranged a visit, so I could see the home & talk to them about my concerns. I arrived and was greeted by the manager I was shown around, I was not rushed & was able to explain what my concerns were, it was agreed that I could take my dad for a visit before he stayed In the end, due to Dad's declining Dementia as a family, we decided that he needed care on a permanent basis. Any concerns are always dealt with in a professional way, any problems I am called day or night regarding his health. They even brought Dad to his granddaughter's wedding in July, so we could all enjoy the day. I cannot thank the staff enough at Belvedere Lodge for their compassion & care for Dad & us as a family.
