View Full Details of Arundel Park LodgeMy mum is very happy at Arundel Park Lodge which means we are happy. I can't praise the staff enough for their patience and care. Mum is able to stay as independent as possible. She doesn't have the worry about medicines and what to eat/cook as this is so well catered for. If ever there has been an issue the staff have dealt with the situation promptly and professionally and are so very kind. Also, everyone is conscious of maintaining her dignity along with independence.
My uncle has been a resident since the end of 2024, every time I have visited my uncle the staff has been very polite. Due to my uncle's nursing needs he spends most of his time in his room however this is his personal choice. My uncle was complimentary about the food and always good activities on. My uncle is very happy there.

I have been visiting my brother for over 2 years and the care home and staff are amazing. My brother cannot see and cannot move from the neck down. He is always happy and this is 100% down to all the staff and management. The food is also amazing. Thank you to all who help my brother, you keep him going.
Friendly staff and management.
My uncle is in this care home and I visit him here often. The staff are always nice to me and my uncle and I'm very glad he has a place here. His room is lovely and they have a very nice garden too. I want to move in!
My brother-in-law is staying here and has been for 2 years now. The home is a lovely building, in a great location with amazing views and gardens. My brother-in-law is very well looked after here and is very happy. The staff are all very friendly and go that extra mile to make. Well done to all.
My wife has Huntingtons' disease which requires constant care, care homes for this condition are few and far between. The family are extremely thankful for finding Arundel Park Lodge. Overall, care, accommodation, food and activities etc are of the highest standard whilst providing a wonderful family environment fostered by management and staff alike. Thank you.
Great caring staff. Always putting residents first. Nice option of different lounges. Communication excellent.
My husband is very content here. His medical condition required 24-hour care now, so sometimes the staff are under a lot of pressure to fulfil all his care needs due to the fact that his ability and level of awareness are very variable. He also chokes easily and is prone to falls because he is very restless and his mobility and balance is also variable. The staff are very kind and capable and he is lucky to be here in this lovely home.
Amazing home. The staff are fabulous and made me feel so much more comfortable about the extremely hard decisions I've had to make.
Taking the decision to place a loved one in care is never easy but knowing they will receive the best of care helps with that pain. Ever since he arrived at Arundel Park Lodge, he has received the best of care. The staff are all wonderful and look after Dad so well. The home is a true home with everyone looked after and loved as an individual whilst receiving the very best nursing care.
My Mum has been a resident here for 11 months and has a lovely room with an en suite and lovely big windows. She enjoys sitting in the lounge chatting to the staff and other residents, playing various games and quizzes. I regularly take her for a stroll along the undercliff and into Rottingdean. The staff are very warm, kind, full of humour and are very attentive. It feels like a home full of happiness and friendly faces. The staff will immediately notify me of any changes to my Mum's health from a cough to a toothache. They are very caring and efficient. Highly recommended.
Mum is well cared for, happy and safe. She does not always like the food but not a big issue. The handling of "Covid" has been well done.
I would definitely recommend this care home. My dad is living here, would like to thank all the staff for their kindness and patience. My dad receives excellent care. Nothing is too much trouble. I feel very reassured that my dad is being taken very good care of. All the staff are very welcoming and cheerful. And the home is very clean and comfortable.
My mum is loved, cuddled, and kissed daily by the staff at Arundel Park Lodge nursing home. She is much happier since she began living there two years ago because she feels safe, secure and has many people to talk to. My Dad visits her each day for about three hours a day, eating meals with her. The manager has been incredibly welcoming to my Dad and Arundel Park Lodge has almost become his second home. Staff that I meet have worked at the home for years, which I believe is an indication that it is well managed and a good place to work.
Everything excellent.
I moved my mother from another care home where she'd been for about 6 years, as it closed. My mum is at the stage where she's in bed all the time and I was very nervous about the move. Arundel Park Lodge have been nothing but truly wonderful. They made the move so easy. The staff have been absolutely excellent with every aspect of mum's care. I feel totally happy in every way. I can't thank them enough. Special thanks to the manager and 3 other staff. Amazing.
I wish I had found this care home before when I needed help to care for my invalid husband. This time it was post surgery care he needed and every facility he needed was available no problem at all. Clean comfortable room pleasant garden to sit in. Very kind staff. Choice of menu. Easy parking.
My Mother lived in this care home for a few years until her recent death. I can’t fault this care home on any level. From the moment we walked through the door to enquire about my Mother going to live there, we were treated with kindness and compassion from every single member of staff. It doesn’t feel like a clinical setting it feels like a home. Whenever we visited, the manager, cleaners, laundry staff, carers, office staff, everyone would take time to chat and check if there was anything they could do for us. Most importantly my Mother was happy there. I had looked after her at home for 8 years, so the decision for her to move into a care home was a difficult one. There was a lot of guilt on my part and anxiety on my Mother’s. It proved to be the best decision for both of us. We had “tried “ various other care home settings when my Mother went for respite, I think this care home and their ethos, management and day to day compassion should be held up as the gold standard.
