Broadacres Care Home is an amazing place, very welcoming, feels like home. All staff are amazing and very friendly.
I'm happy here, I have been here six weeks. The staff are exceptional, friendly and caring. Food is amazing.
Mum is very happy and cared for at the home. All of the staff go above and beyond for Mum.
Excellent from start to finish super staff, good food, beautiful gardens. Feel so much better after my stay.
My parents both came to Broadacres Care Home in 2016 and my mum is still here. They provide excellent care and stimulating activities - always keep you updated on care, any falls or Mum's needs. Food is excellent and we have been able to sample on a few occasions. The home is in beautiful surroundings that the residents can enjoy. The home is one of the best in Norfolk.
I have always found the staff extremely kind, helpful and very caring. Our mum has been very well cared for over these past years and Dad when he was alive.
A short (three-month) visit whilst recovering from hip fracture. The care for my parent and the support given to me was excellent. Broadacres Care Home really felt like a home from home as furniture and pictures could be put into each room. The staff were absolutely lovely with thoughtful touches on Mother's Day and other events. I was always welcome to eat lunch with my parents and each visit, offered refreshments. Management team were easy to deal with, flexible and very helpful. All in all, as residents and family, a very positive experience. Thank you Broadacres.
The Broadacres Care home is second to none. The lady I look after enjoys every day, she is well cared for and is so pleased to be able to live in such a nice home. It is all the staff that make Broadacres so pleasant, all work so hard to make it feel as much as possible ‘like home’ they are ‘kind’ it is such a relaxed atmosphere. Activities, outings, visits from external providers: animals, choirs, musical entertainment, local school who sing. Seated exercise classes, carpet bowls, and quizzes keep the residents both physically and mentally active. Visits from church organisations. Fairs, quiz evenings, firework display, annual summer afternoon tea and Christmas dinner to which residents’ families are invited. Food very good, fresh ingredients prepared, cooked on the premises; the menu is varied, and dietary requirements considered as a norm. Anyone who must go into care will have peace of mind to the end of their days which is so important. I would be happy to go there myself.
My mother has lived at Broadacres for nearly a year. She is very happy and settled and is enjoying the many and varied daily activities. The staff are caring and supportive. The food is home-cooked and very good. There is a lovely homely welcoming atmosphere. Relatives are invited to several events throughout the year. The views over the gardens are lovely.
My mother has been in this care home for over two years. She has been cared for with great kindness and thoughtfulness. She has been continually treated with great respect, and time has been given to share words and laughter with her. As a visiting daughter, I have always been made welcome and the staff have always given time to speak with me when needed. I have appreciated all the small kind thoughts given to my mother on many occasions. Families, of all ages, are welcomed and included in many celebrations and occasions. It is a most friendly and comfortable home.
Mum has been a resident at Broadacres Care Home for just over three months. All the staff helped Mum to settle in, making her very welcome. The activities programme is very good - with things happening Monday to Friday. Relatives are encouraged to join in too. They also arranged specific events for both residents and their families.
I feel very at home and all the staff are kind and caring.
My mother is being very well cared for at Broadacres by friendly attentive staff. During a recent bout of poor health, mum couldn't have had more attention. Now they are encouraging her to become more independent again. Having has several years of constant concern over her being alone my sister and I now have peace of mind.
At our first visit last September, when we were looking for a care home for my husband’s aunt, I knew straight away Broadacres was the place for her. I have had experience of many care homes and none have come anywhere near the high standards of care given here. Aunt has now been in the home for four months and loves every minute of it. She has found a new lease of life. I rate the rural setting, the warm welcome from all staff, the beautiful home and the care she receives as excellent. This home oozes dignity and respect and is given by every member of staff, I really can’t find any fault. If only all care homes were like Broadacres, we would then all have peace of mind that our loved ones were receiving the care and attention they deserve, many care homes would learn a lot from this home’s approach.
I have been here since 28th May 23019. I was quite unwell and anxious on admission. I am now 88. After a very active life, often caring for others (nurse, mother, wife, daughter) I am grateful that this "home" was focussed for me. My family live at a distance (Shropshire, Midlands and Devon) and try to visit once per month or quarterly. I also have wonderful friends, mainly from my home church. I hope I can remain here until my "home call". I am a practical and practising Christian and so do not fear for my destination, but grateful for a feeling of security and safety here at Broadacres.
Although my father-in-law was only in Broadacres for a short time, the care given to him by the staff was excellent. The standard of the premises could not be faulted and I would have no hesitation in recommending Broadacres.
Broadacres is by far the nicest care home that I have had anything to do with. Lovely house staff, always caring and polite. Food is excellent and visitors are treated with respect and are made to feel welcome. Not too big. The size is a great attraction, I hope it doesn't get any larger.
My father moved into Broadacres some 5 years ago as he was unable to walk and care for himself although mentally still very 'on the ball'. The care provided was exemplary. I was always made welcome when I visited and always felt comfortable and at home there. The home works very hard at providing a social calendar of events to cater for ever taste with things going on every week. The staff are lovely, always cheerful and smiling, the food is great and the home and gardens very comfortable. I can only thank everyone for looking after my Dad and would recommend the home without hesitation.
My 2 weeks and respite care was brilliant. The staff are all kind, caring and very helpful. Food was A1 as was the accommodation. I cannot fault it in any way. They are a wonderful team - second to none!
