My mother was looked after very well in Beech Lodge. She was treated with dignity and kindness by all the staff members. The home is comfortable and warm and well presents and clean and tidy.

The staff were very caring and gentle to my wife, they tried very hard to keep her happy and cheerful. Also the they were very respectful towards me when visiting and made me feel very welcome.

My mother passed away on 18th December. Everyone treated her passing with tremendous dignity. They also looked after me so well, which is why I am here on Christmas Day to bring the staff some goodies.

I cannot thank you all enough for the way my mum was cared for in a loving and happy home. She had some challenging times but also many happy times, when my mum passed you were all so helpful and accommodating. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My husband, eldest son and partner have travelled from Canada and Edinburgh to visit my sister for three days. We are all impressed with the care given to my sister, I know that when we leave to go home, we will feel assured, as always, that my sister will receive continued, excellent care. Thank you to all staff from the bottom of our hearts.

Beech Lodge Care & Nursing Home is always a warm and welcoming place. The staff couldn't be kinder. My mum was comfortable, clean and is always very well looked after. Everyone knows my mum and what she likes and her history, the staff take the time with her. They also take the time with us relatives and although they must be busy, they always have the time to answer questions. I take great comfort knowing my mum is so well looked after and in such a caring environment.

My father was a resident at and in the care of Beech Lodge Care & Nursing Home for the last two years of his life. The care he received and the respect and dignity with which he was treated were exemplary. He could be a difficult man but he genuinely liked the carers and the support he was given. I couldn't have wished for a better place for my father to spend the last years of his life.

I'm so happy we chose Beech Lodge Care & Nursing Home for my nan. The staff are so dedicated to their role and treat my nan as an individual, recognising her unique personality and needs. The food, facilities and personal care at Beech Lodge are exactly what I hoped she would receive. Choosing a care home for a family member is such a difficult decision and I am confident that Nan is in the right place.

My father was at the home for 3 years. I was aware his behaviours made him difficult! All the staff were kind, considerate and really showed a caring attitude. In Nov when he became really ill and eventually passed away, I was touched by the number of staff who, although not directly involved in his care, came in to comfort us and to simply hold his hand in his last hours. I can't praise this care home and staff enough.

As a family, we would like to thank all staff and management for the excellent care my mum had. You took the time to speak to my dad every day for nearly two years to reassure him Mum was OK. Mum was very well looked after; you truly are one big family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts; you made the end so much easier.

The manager and all the staff here are absolutely wonderful in terms of the care they give and how welcoming they are to relatives. The home is well-run and well presented and the food is great as well.

I can't thank the fantastic staff at Beech Lodge enough for the patient, respectful, attentive care provided for my dad during the 18 months he was with them. It truly became his home and the staff his family. I recall the first time I saw him smiling on social media images and thank everyone for persisting in engaging him in activities, even when he would often prefer to wander around 'fixing' things in his own special way. He arrived as Santa and left as pops, loved and cared for until the end, staff even sat with him until I arrived the day before he passed, so he was not alone. Farewell, Dad and thank you, Beech Lodge.
