View Full Details of Swan HouseSwan House is a very caring and comfortable home. I have never been to a care home before and I was very impressed how all the staff were very caring towards the residents. Nothing is to much trouble for any of the staff. I can say that I feel more easy knowing my sister is in Swan House.
We are extremely happy with the care that my Brother is receiving from the wonderful staff at Swan House.
Dad was unable to live at home alone anymore so we researched a few homes and after visiting Swan House we knew this was the perfect place. All staff are so friendly and helpful, they ensured Dad settled quickly. We are always kept up to date with how Dad is getting on. We are sure we made the right choice!
My father-in-law has moved into Swan House from living in his own home. He was reluctant, to say the least, but has settled unbelievably well. The staff engage with him and explain everything to him. He is encouraged to be independent but also make his own choices. Swan House is full of excellent staff who always make time for the residents and family. It is extremely well-run and resident-focused.
Lovely home, the staff are very caring, home is very clean with a lovely friendly atmosphere.
I cannot put into words how wonderful this care home is. I hated to have to place our very much loved mom into a home. She has vascular dementia and we would no longer cope or give her the care she needs. I shouldn't have worried. Mom is so happy and so well cared for on all levels. Every member of staff including management is fabulous. I can now sleep at night knowing how well my mom is cared for. They are simply amazing!
My dad has resided at Swan House for nearly a year now. During all this home I cannot speak highly enough for the care my dad has received. The staff are exemplary, they have cared for my dad with respect and love, treating him as one of the family. Throughout this time they have kept me informed about all aspects of Dad's health and wellbeing. For anyone who is thinking of having a loved one stay at Swan House, I would highly recommend this lovely home.
My aunt was a resident of Swan House for nearly 12 months. She moved in at the age of 96 (having previously lived independently in her own house for nearly 70 years) Sadly she passed away in recent weeks but staff gave our family amazing support during that time. During her time there my aunt was well looked after and supported by a hardworking and caring staff team who are always ready to listen to the residents and their relatives. The home is light and airy and has a welcoming atmosphere, from management and right through the staff team. As a family, thank you for the dedication and commitment shown.
Staff appeared kind and caring, treating residents with dignity and respect. The facilities were clean and tidy. Meals were plentiful and looked appetising. Always lots of activities for residents to enjoy. Management and staff team approachable.
Our family is very happy with all the staff and management that provide care not only to our mother by as we have observed care also given to other residents. Our mother is always in good appearance when we visit, and all staff are friendly and approachable at all times. Overall, we think Swan House is a fantastic home and would recommend it to anyone.
Since the new manager came in in February the home is going in an upwards direction. The whole atmosphere in the home has changed for the better it's a warm and welcoming experience. The staff are fabulous they give the residents the care and dignity they deserve always with a smile on their faces. I highly recommend anyone looking for a care home in Willenhall to consider Swan House it is such a difficult decision for a family to make you won't be disappointed.
Really good support for my nan going through the end of life. Treat the residents with dignity whatever the case and the staff seem absolutely lovely and the facilities are good and quite spacious for Nan to rest. A big thank you to all the staff for supporting my nan for the last few years.
What can I say? In February 2020, after nearly five years of looking after Dad, it was sadly time for Dad to go into full time care and the thought of it filled me with dread. Would/will he receive the care he deserves, that I expect for him, and that he would expect also? I went with Swan House Care Home after looking at the reviews and what a care home! Yes, it's not the swankiest of places, but spotlessly clean and run like clockwork from staff who clearly care. One of the things you hear about care is the constant turnover in staff, well not in this place. Three staff members in particular, I thank you for everything you did for Dad. You did him, me, yourselves and Swan House proud and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your care, devotion, courtesy, love and respect was always evident. You called me always regarding Dad's care day or night. He loved being there, he felt safe, protected and at home, thank you! I can't put into words my gratitude and thanks.
Originally unsure about putting Mom into care, we need not have worried. The staff and management at Swan House are superb. The building is well kept internally and whilst plain is spotlessly clean. Mom, who at best could be described as a picky eater, assures me of how good and plentiful the food is. From what I have seen when visiting, which by the way visitors are welcome all day, the staff are extremely caring and very experienced in the way they handle and communicate with the residents. I only hope that when it's my time in life to receive care that the likes of Swan House are still there.
My mom has said she never knew that people could care as much as the staff here. The food is also very nice.
My father, who is 100, has been a resident here for 12 months, and of course, initially, I was concerned about him moving from home into care. I should not have worried. The staff are all excellent in every way, which is the most important thing as far as I am concerned. Dad is well looked after, the food is very good, and his en-suite room is lovely and sunny and faces the garden. There are plenty of activities planned if residents want to join in, and for his 100th Birthday, a real fuss was made about him. The home is kept clean and tidy throughout, and we can visit every day if we want to. Overall, I am delighted with Swan House, not just for him but for me too.
Great staff, care and support, good food choices and meals served hot, rooms are always clean, and Mom kept safe and checked regularly. Family and friends welcome with a smile and a homely atmosphere.
I like Swan House because it's very clean. Staff are very friendly. They look after my mother very well. It takes a lot of worry off me, knowing she's being looked after.
Everyone is so helpful, especially in these difficult times. It's been a last resort placing my mum in a care home, but she seems happy and well settled.
We had to make a decision to put my mum-in-law to Swan House, which caused the family great distress but was not a worry once we got there. She was made very welcome, and they looked after her really well. It is all new to us all, but the staff there answered questions, kept us in touch on how she is, as she has dementia, this is hard, but the staff are great with her.
