Heatherbrook has been amazing since bringing my mum here. The staff have a lovely manner with all the residents which makes me feel taht she is looked after in a safe environment. The activities are great and keep the residents engaged.
My mother came to Heatherbrook in November 2016. She was already 10 years into her struggle with vascular dementia and we could no longer meet her needs at home. Mum was offered care, compassion, and respect throughout her eight-year stay at Heatherbrook until her death in June 2024. Mum's needs changed during this time from one-to-one supervision to principally dementia nursing care, but throughout she was treated with patience, kindness, and love. Having visited Heatherbrook throughout this period I was able to observe the same quality of care being afforded other patients with the staff continually trying their best to make every day as rich as possible and the best it could be. The staff took time to get to know Mum and her specific needs, and we were offered support and practical advice throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending Heatherbrook, its manager, admin team, nurses, and carers as they delivered the best quality of care to my mum.
The staff at Heatherbrook Nursing Home were hard-working, caring and compassionate. It was very clean and the three meals were lovely just like home cooking. They all nursed me back to health in such a short time. The only thing I would say is the staff don't get paid enough for the hard work and long hours they put in.
I have visited my friend several times over the last 2 years in Heatherbrook, Romford. I want to give it and the staff a 5-star review. I think the care facility is lovely, always fresh and warm with a feeling of efficiency and care from the time you enter the front door. The staff are the same, fresh, warm and efficient, but above all caring. I consider that the home and the Heatherbrook team do a great job of really caring for those in their care. Well done all responsible at every level of the organisation. Her daughter certainly did well in finding this next chapter in her mum's life.
A clean and happy home and the food is healthy and consistently excellent. Our mum has improved in her health and well-being with the care she has received at Heatherbrook. We feel so welcome and the staff are caring and attentive towards Mum and other residents and their families. We are so glad to have found this home away from home once we had to make the difficult decision to find a safe home. Thank you for all you do.
My husband has been at Heatherbrook for a year and his care during this time has been excellent. the staff are friendly and approachable and any matters are dealt with promptly. The premises are kept very clean and the meals although basic are very good (special diets catered for). The residents are encouraged to take part in the numerous activities that are on offer. Overall very satisfied.
I'm happy my father is being well cared for. He is always well-groomed and smiling when I come to visit. The home has lots of entertainers that come and it's lovely to see Dad sing along to the songs and enjoy himself. Thank you to all staff at Heatherbrook.
Some small issues eg, wearing someone else's clothes, lukewarm meals/drinks. But overall, pleasant home. Staff extreme;y friendly and caring. The maintenance man is available three days a week but always responds quickly and efficiently.
I took the hard decision to put my mum in residential care last year. the care my mum has received to date has been amazing I have no reservations concerning her care. Someone is always available to talk and convey any information that's needed to be imparted. I would have no problem in referring Heatherbrook to anyone.
My mum was transferred to Heatherbrook for respite, physiotherapy and recovery following a period in hospital. I cannot praise all the staff at Heatherbrook enough; they have looked after my mum so well and made her recovery as smooth as possible. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I unfortunately don't know the staff names apart from reception who was always welcoming and helpful when I visited.
My mother-in-law has been a resident here for eighteen months and is well cared for. She is extremely happy at Heatherbrook. All the carers are very kind and conscientious. There is a good atmosphere in Heatherbrook.
Lovely place, with friendly, helpful staff at the care home, always greeted with a smile, and one lady is so delightful. Great place and atmosphere. Highly recommend this facility - clean and well presented, always look forward to visiting.
Beautiful and homely relaxed feeling, happy and caring staff across the board. Great experience of visiting here and has an amazing feel inside. Food is good and resources are plentiful. I would recommend this place to anyone needing care.
Cannot fault this care home, my sister was in another one before and was so unhappy. She has been in Heatherbrook for the last 4 months and upon our visit to see her, all we can say is that her face was bright and lit up. All the staff are wonderful and constantly make sure the residents do not want for anything. 5 stars for what the staff do here.
Fantastic staff. Always around to talk to and get information from and always willing to help. I found great comfort knowing that my dad was well looked after and it took a lot of weight from my shoulders. Thanks to all the hard-working staff from the care workers to the admin staff.
Great overall experience. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The home has a lovely atmosphere and is always very clean. They work closely with the local primary school where I was a teacher and foster great community relationships.
My gran has been here for just over two months now and I must say she has settled in so well. The staff and other residents have made her feel so welcome. All members of staff at Heatherbrook are very kind and I believe they made the transition for gran moving into here a lot easier than expected. Thank you to all members of staff.
My husband has been in this home for four years on February 2023. I have no complaints. He loves it here that is the main thing, as long as he is happy. The staff are friendly, caring and always offer me support.
My father has been at Heatherbrook for roughly one month. In that time he has made good friends and relationships with the care team. His overall health and well-being has also greatly improved which is a direct result of the care and attention he is receiving. Many thanks to the whole team.
Great home, wife very settled. Good staff and management team listened to concerns.
