The carers & care home staff are super. I couldn't speak highly enough of them care given to my mum.

I would like to say in the strongist terms, that from day one we have been very happy with all aspects of care given, and openess and help we have received from all staff about present and long term care for the future for my mother.

My husband has been here just over a year. Although his mobility etc. has not improved. With the staff's help he mixes in with other residents. He gets on with all the staff knowing them by name, He always enjoys the food and makes comments, according to the staff. As family members, we are kept up to date with everything that goes on in the home, via weekly emails. When needed urgently we are contacted immediately by phone.

My mother in law was only a resident for a short period but I am so glad she spent her last few weeks there. The rooms, the facilities were perfect and the people there, especially the manager, were just brilliant and so caring. Thank you all.

My brother has been at Carolyne House for 2 years and my mum goes there for respite. I have nothing but praise for how they are looked after and my brother appears to be so much happier there because it has given him more interest in participating in both indoor and outdoor activities. The home is always clean and the staff are very welcoming and keep you informed of any issues, be it medical or personal.

This care home is utterly amazing! They have looked after my great grandmother for a few years I would recommend this home. The manager is one of the best managers I've met. All other staff are lovely and make sure nan is looked after. I'm forever grateful for everything you do. Keep being amazing.

On my visits I have always been greeted and welcomed very nicely and all staff I have met have been lovely. First time I visited the home where my friend went to, I thought this feels like a lovely place and it is, highly recommend it.

Really good experience, lovely, clean, homely feeling as soon as you walk through the door. Friendly staff and resident's rooms all clean and warm. Residents well looked after.

I find Carolyne House welcoming on arrival. The staff and management are very helpful and friendly and show care towards all the residents.

My mum has been a resident for nearly 8 years. We could not wish for a better home for our mum. She is treated with kindness and love, her every need is met, physically and emotionally. We have nothing but praise for Carolyn House. Well run and beautifully clean conditions. As a family, we could not ask for better.

My nan spent almost 11 years at Carolyne House, I have to say majority of her time she was happy. I think improvements have definitely been made over the years. The rooms are lovely, done to a very high standard. Most staff are friendly and compassionate. The manager is lovely, kind, caring and also remains impartial in family situations. My nan thought a lot of the the manager and her husband whom also works within Carolyne House. Only room for improvement I would say was the food didn't always look appetising, although nan was on a blended diet at the end.

Since first viewing, I was impressed and that hasn't changed. My husband is challenging with Alzheimer's but all the carers and nurses seem to have worked magic with his anxiety over personal care. He's always clean, so is his room. The managers and staff keep us informed of doctors visits, changed in medications, sleep patterns etc. They encourage him to partake in activities as much as he wants. They all address him and family by name, which makes us feel like family. Food is excellent, fresh, varies and liquids offered all day. Carolyne House always looks clean, smells clean and available to family at all times. 100%.

My 96 year old aunt recently moved into Carolyne House. My aunt has settled very quickly and states it's the best place for her now. Staff have gone out of their way to help her feel welcome and comfortable. Appropriate activities are arranged daily and residents are given a timetable for the month, and all the staff are cheerful, professional and dedicated to ensuring residents are happy. I firmly believe that the managers of care/nursing homes set the standard of care, and the manager here is outstanding - full of enthusiasm and innovative ideas and shows she truly cares for her residents and staff.

We are so happy with the care Dad receives, it means when we go and see him we can be his son and wife rather than having to worry about being his carers. He's included in activities and gets to venture outside of his room which is more than he was getting at home. Dad is happy so we are happy.

This home has given my Grandmother a new lease of life. She now has regular trips out, engaging activities, good nutrition, and high-quality care. She was very hesitant to move there initially, as she had always lived on her own, but since becoming a resident she hasn't looked back. The staff have been amazing and really care for her, and the home makes regular contact with the family to keep us up to date with what is going on.

Mum has been at Carolyne House for 2 years, At first I was skeptical about her going into a care home as I had had negative experiences with other care homes in the area. However, my concerns were soon eliminated. The staff has been wonderful, adapting to Mum's needs and providing extra care and attention when needed. All the staff from the home manager, the nursing staff, carers, well-being staff, cooks, cleaners, laundry staff, and maintenance are exceptional. On a daily basis, they go above and beyond to care for the residents 24/7. In recent months more daily activities have been organised, when all residents, despite their ability, are encouraged to participate. From outings to the cinema, and zoo, shopping trips, picnics, and much more. I cannot rate Carolyne House highly enough, 5 * is not sufficient! Their professionalism, care, attention to needs, and understanding are amazing. Thank you all for looking after our loved ones. I could write so much more!

When my Dad arrived at Carolyne House he was given only 8 weeks to live, but he actually lasted an amazing 3.5 years and I honestly believe this is due to the care he received. The home is well run, the manager and the assistant are on hand to ensure the smooth running of the home. My dad was on the ground floor which is dedicated to residents that need nursing care, I can't speak highly enough about the registered general nurses (RGN) who care for these residents, they are absolutely amazing, also I would like to highlight the great work done by three staff member in particular who all made my dad's life better during his stay. Everyone from the staff on reception, the lady in laundry to the maintenance man are very welcoming and helpful. If and when I need a care home this one is top of my list!

The team at Carolyn House is excellent at caring for both my parents. All team members show great compassion and are very skilled and competent in caring for the complexity of my parents. Communication is great as well as coordination of care with other services. As a family, we can't thank everyone at Carolyn House enough for the great care they provide every day.
