View Full Details of Rose CourtMy mother has been a resident for a couple of weeks with a view to this becoming a permanent position. The care given to my mother has been second to none. The management and staff are so caring and professional in carrying out their duties that I couldn't have found a better solution to ensure the care and safety of my mother was nothing but the best. In just a short time I have noticed a remarkable change in my mother's mental health and general wellbeing and this is all due to the care she receives and the daily activities that ensure a healthy and varied daily routine. Having visited numerous other care homes to view before my mother's placement I am now absolutely certain Rose Court is without a doubt the best she could be in. I can only express my immense gratitude to everyone at Rose Court for their kindness and dedication.
First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to every member of staff at Rose Court. My mum became a resident in June. She has flourished, and gained weight, and she is joining in all the activities which makes me very happy to see her happy. The staff are always kind and respectful. They know their ladies and gents really well. I was apprehensive about Mum going into a care home but they made the transition easy. They reassured her and me, answered my questions and I felt supported through the whole process. Well done and a very big thank you.
When visiting my mother I am always impressed by the kindness shown to her by all members of the staff at Rose Court. Everyone is always helpful and happy to engage to do all that they can for her and it is obvious that this makes Mum very happy and she feels safe with her carers at Rose Court.
Rose Court was one of five Care Homes that I viewed for my mother. She has been a resident for just over a year. As I entered the establishment I received a warm welcome from the manageress and front-of-house staff. I immediately sensed a feeling of trust respect and love. This became very obvious during my tour. The caregivers, cook (the meals are amazing) caretaker, and auxiliary staff work to an extremely high standard. They are outstanding! A huge addition to the team has been the entertainment manager. My mother is stimulated, challenged, inspired, and involved in a huge range of activities throughout the week. I have seen a tremendous improvement in her cognition and expressive language. All I ever wanted was for my mother to be understood, cared for, and safe. I feel so reassured knowing in my mind and heart that this is happening. Congratulations team! Keep up the good work.
My mum is well cared for and we feel that the hard-working staff know her very well, which is very comforting, as they are so aware of her likes and dislikes which we feel makes her feel happier and more settled in her environment. We visit frequently and are always met with friendly staff, throughout the home, and team members and the Manager are always very happy to discuss how my mum is doing, which makes us feel more involved in her day-to-day life.
No duty of care whatsoever! My mum was a resident there from late 2023 until March 2024 and she suffered with slight dementia. She got physically abused by another male resident and the staff did nothing about it as 'they didn't see it'. My sister witnessed this man throwing tea on her and being abusive to another female resident but again, as the staff 'didn't see it' so nothing was done. Both times my mum was attacked by him she had to be taken to A&E. The staff really didn't care about her wellbeing at all. My mum suffered being abused and got a fractured wrist and a cut on her head while in Rose Court. On her last visit to A&E, after being pushed over by said man she ended up catching infections in hospital and unfortunately passed away in May 2024. We reported it to Rose Court, Mum's social workers and the council who after investigating decided to drop the case due to lack of evidence. I am sure she would have still been alive today if it wasn't for the above. Do not use this place.
I have visited many friends/relatives in Care homes; and this is the nicest by far. The colleagues are so caring, compassionate and are proactive. I love the fact that the food is freshly prepared each day.
My dad has been here for over a year now. So far he has enjoyed his stay. The staff have looked after him well. He always talks about how much he has increased his weight which is a good sign. He praises the staff all the time and also enjoys the type of food they give him.
Dad has settled in really well. He has been joining in most activities, which is what he needed. Staff are wonderful. All strange to us at first. The food is really nice, what I've seen. He is being well looked after, and as a family, we are happy with everything.
Our mum became a resident in 2021. At first she was unsettled but it wasn't long before the staff made her comfortable and she began to accept this as her 'home'. Staff work tirelessly to keep the residents fed and watered and the place is being cleaned no matter what time I visit. All the staff give 100% to the residents, but one staff member in particular, who carries out daily activities, deserves a special mention. She is respectful and inclusive to all, and she creates a fun atmosphere for the residents accompanied by a good old-fashioned sing-a-long. We are happy with the care Mum receives.
My dad stayed for one month and was very well cared for and looked after and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. All were very kind and the food was very good, we are all very pleased with his care whilst staying here. Thank you.
The home manager was very welcoming and made my mum feel at ease when we visited Rose Court. The staff were very nice and friendly, which made my mum’s stay at Rose Court happy and enjoyable. She was laughing and joking with staff when I went to pick her up to bring her back home. My mum has Alzheimer’s, and she recalls after a couple of days, she went on a holiday in the country and met lovely people.
Very happy with the care so far. The staff are very friendly and cooperative. The residents seem very happy and relaxed. The staff are helpful and caring. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the residents are well cared for.
We are very happy my mother-in-law can live in Rose Court. All staff are very hard-working and look after my mother-in-law. Also, the management team are very helpful and consider what support my mother-in-law needs to have have and advised us before and after move-in. The manager of Rose Court is very professional. We are so glad my mother-in-law can settle down and is smiling every day. Very appreciative for all support!
My dad is always clean and tidy and his room is always tidy The staff are always helpful and friendly. If there is ever a problem, they have always phoned me straight away. Dad is happy and I have no problems with the home.
Mum has been at Rose Court for two years now. The staff are superb, kind, caring and thoughtful. They go out of their way to make sure Mum, and the other residents, are happy and content. They liaise well with families and any concerns are addressed.
My cousin has been very well taken care of over the years he has been at Rose Court. I feel that the staff are considerate of his care needs and take good care of him.
My friend needed a place of safety, and Rose Court was recommended to his family. I was very concerned for my friend as I have heard bad things about care homes; however, after my first visit, all my fears melted away. This is a lovely care home. I would be very happy to live here myself. Thank you for a great home.
My father has been supported at Rose Court by the fabulous staff that work here. From the management down, the home is well run and I feel that my father is well cared for by the team. His religious beliefs are respected and supported by assisting my father with joining on-time meetings on Sundays and Thursdays. Once the weather changes, I am sure that use of the garden will commence.
In my experience since Mum has been here at Rose Cour, the staff have been great looking after Mum. Although Mum has trouble walking, her walking frame helps her along. The staff go above and beyond to help Mum and obviously all the other people on her landing. So to sum up, I am very happy with the care Mum gets.
