My mum has late-stage Alzheimer's & is in the nursing wing at Walton Park Care Home. The expertise she receives is second to none! She has really become very happy and relaxed. The facility is BEAUTIFUL, the equipment, beds, bathrooms are all new and top of the line. Management & admin are excellent, easy to contact and deeply compassionate and then lastly, and most importantly, the team of nurses & carers are wonderful, kind and professional. I am so thankful Mum is at Walton Park - thank you!

The care staff are wonderful and I felt that they really did care about my dad's welfare and well-being. The home it's self was warm, welcoming and always clean and tidy. The activity programme was great and I felt my dad benefited from it greatly, the daily sparkle was enjoyed by all of my family. The meals looked really nice and always catered for my dads needs, his particular highlights were the desserts and tea and biscuit time in the morning and afternoon. I witnessed a couple of residents birthdays and staff always decorated with ballons and celebrated with birthday cake and music for all of the residents to enjoy. My dads room was warm and cosy and was cleaned with fresh sheets daily. This was me and my dad's first experience of a nursing home, and Walton park made the experience less scary and way more welcoming. Thank you.

We were delighted by the care Mum had during her two weeks of respite care at Walton Park. The carers and nurses were attentive and thoughtful, and the food was excellent (particularly important for Mum!). People were always available to discuss Mum's care and the residents have lots of opportunities for activities. Walton Park surpassed our expectations! Thank you!

What can I say , From the time we entered the care home .all the staff are lovely ,The kindness, greeting, and care to my friend is amazing !! Not only to her but to myself and her son and daughter .Not only that you can see and feel the care they give residents !! So so glad she is in this care home simply the best .so love the hot chocolate!!

My father enjoyed his two week respite care, and although there was a little bit of resistance from him at times the carers and staff were all so patient wiith him. We will definitely use it again the next time we need respite or even daycare. Beautiful facilities and lovely staff. What more could you ask for? thank you.

The care has been excellent. The treatment very good. I was a little surprised that there were few nurses on the dementia floor.

My wife transferred to the home in January 2024. I have found the care that has been provided is excellent. The staff are very friendly and caring and the home is modern, extremely clean, and comfortable.

I am very pleased with the care my father is receiving at Walton Park. He has been there for more than 2 years and he seems happy. He has a large room with ensuite facilities. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful.

I cannot praise Walton Park enough. My mum was looked after wonderfully well during the eight months she was there. All the staff are kind, caring and respectful and made her feel comfortable and safe. The home is friendly, calm and peaceful and the staff always have time for everybody. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are large and well-equipped with super ensuite bathrooms. The food is excellent. Everywhere is bright and spacious, but cosy and the gardens are delightful. I was so glad to have found Walton Park. It was an enormous relief to know my mum was safe and in good hands right until the end. I shall miss going there and I shall miss the lovely supportive carers.

Mum came into Walton Park for respite. Seeing how all the staff looked after Mum we decided for her to become a resident. I knew she would be looked after 24/7 and she would be safe. Mum had a lovely room looking out towards the gardens. She always used to say she liked it there. Sadly Mum passed away March 2024 after becoming frail and not well. I cannot thank the staff for all the help they gave Mum especially towards the end. Everyone was supported.

The staff are excellent. Always recognise us and say hello when we visit and always ask if we would like a drink. They really understand Dad’s needs and take really good care of him. Dad has been moved to a refurbished room with beautiful views of the garden and an ensuite bathroom. A welcome addition for us is the communal area now has a little “bistro cafe” with complimentary cakes and all sorts of lovely drinks, including hot chocolate and syrups for coffee. We just help ourselves. Has been there a while but only recently been stocked up. Would be lovely if it remains stocked up.

My dad has been at the home for over four years now, he is very settled and has made many friends. The home has a lovely feel and all the staff are very caring. As a family, we are made to feel very welcome. The recent upgrade to the home is amazing, Dad's new bedroom is very bright and spacious. The food menu is varied and tasty and residents are offered choices around their meals. I would recommend Walton Park to everyone.

We receive a lovely warm welcome on arrival and the care our aunt receives from staff goes above and beyond. The communication from staff is excellent. The new rooms are amazing. There is such a warm feeling within the home.

Dad has been a resident for getting on for two years now, and he has adapted to daily life here very well. The staff are wonderful, and nothing is too much trouble for them... if I've had a query or a request, it's always dealt with quickly and happily. They try very hard to keep activities going, and staff often pop into my dad's room for a chat and help him with his puzzles or a game of Scrabble. Dad has a beautiful, bright new bedroom with an amazing ensuite bathroom. We have put up plenty of photos and pictures, with the help of the maintenance man, so his room is very homely. Sometimes the food is not what Dad fancies, but the staff will always offer an alternative or two, and he particularly likes the puddings! Overall, we are very happy with the home and thank all the staff for taking such good care of Dad.

All the carers at the home were exceptionally kind, thoughtful, efficient and friendly. They made my mother's stay with them very comfortable and gave her a feeling of security. My mother arrived at the home very frail and somewhat depressed. The staff ensured my mother ate and she therefore built up her strength and her humour, resulting in her going home after six weeks. I cannot thank everyone enough. The home is warm, clean and friendly and has a great sense of humour.
