I cannot recommend Highgate Care Home more highly. A five-star review given with no hesitation. Mum's care is simply the best - the staff are superb - every member of staff has Mum as centre to everything they do for her. Of perhaps equal importance, they are so supportive and caring of us as relatives too, Thank you so so much!

My mum has been in here since September 2024, and has come on leaps and bounds. She was in her bed for 6 months and is now sitting in the day room joining in with activities. She enjoys the entertainment that they put on, usually something weekly. As the staff couldn't be more helpful and keep us updated with everything, they all put 100% into their jobs and also getting to know mums likes and dislikes.

I think that Highgate Care Home is the best thing that has happened to my Nana. All the staff are kind, caring, and compassionate, and she likes all of them.

I volunteer at Highgate Care Home after my mum has been a resident there. There were numerous events organised during December in the lead up to Christmas, panto's Christmas parties and a visit from Santa on Christmas Day, which the residents loved.

I have found everyone very helpful and so nice, particularly the activity team. Mum came in on December 7th, so far everyone has been so nice, one member of staff in particular is especially very good at looking after everyone. Have to say, all very nice.

Mum came into Highgate Care Home in September 2024 after spending 6 months in bed at home, never being able to get out of the bed except for a shower. She has settled in well and her quality of life has changed dramatically for the better, being able to get out of the bed, up and dressed. Sitting in the day room, being with other residents and staff. Every member of staff in the care home are excellent, professional and very caring. The staff give 100% to the residents, we are very happy with every aspect of the home and the vast improvement in mum. Thanks so much.

I am happy with the care my husband receives from all the staff and I feel very comfortable visiting the home. Any issues I have regarding my husbands welfare are dealt with promptly. I also enjoy the entertainment put on by the home.

Really happy with my mums level of care, the staff are all excellent and show great attention to details, compassion and empathy. Everyone really cares about my mum and knows her very well. She is extremely well looked after. There is lots of activities as well as hairdressers and staff regularly paints my mums nails and do her hair. Communication is excellent and I'm glad that I could find a place for mum at Highgate Care Home.

Mum moved into Highgate Care Home in May this year, after quite a difficult and stressful period at home and in hospital, and has settled in so well. I absolutely believe that her quality of life has improved beyond anything we had hoped for. She has such a positive outlook now and has wonderful relationships with the staff. She enjoys the entertainment and activities and is so proud of herself when she tells us about her exercises or her dancing to the fabulous singers who come regularly to entertain. The care home shares lots of posts on their social media so family and friends can see how much she's enjoying life. All staff that I have met are so friendly, welcoming and positive. They've responded quickly and professionally to a couple of minor health issues. The activities team are wonderful and the activities are fun and imaginative and engaging. From a personal point of view, the stress and worry have been lifted from my shoulders and I know I made the best decision for Mum.

Although my dad was only at Highgate for a relatively short period of time until he passed, the Highgate staff excelled at quickly building meaningful relationship with him and making this final part of his life a happy and comfortable one. The family will always be immensely grateful for this.

I was very apprehensive about my mother going into full-time care. I visited Highgate Care home prior to my mother moving in and was really impressed with the professional and competent behaviours of all the staff I came into contact with. My mother has settled in very well and has made friends with other residents. She became ill with pneumonia and the staff acted quickly to have her seen at the local hospital and treated for her chest infection.

My mum is a resident within Highgate Care Home. She has settled in without any problems, due to the friendly staff and other residents. The staff are very professional and keep me informed of any changes with regard to my mum's care. My mum receives three meals a day with snacks in between. The room she has is very spacious and spotless too, another reason I would recommend this home to anyone.

I am pleased with my husband's care. His toom is clean and tidy, eats well and his carers and nurses are nice and helpful.

I so appreciate the care given to my brother every single day since residency in August 2023. He is under the regular watchful eyes of staff, with special attention of his Parkinson's and falls challenges. He is cared for with respect, dignity and love and kindness. There is so much to appreciate about Highgate. It's always fresh, lovely floral displays and nicely decorated public areas for special dates; Christmas, Valentine's, Mother's day, St Patrick's, so colourful and pleasing to the eye for residents/visitors. It's a pleasure to visit, always welcomed and given time for questions by phone or in person. In comparing options, Highgate was a standout. Staff are so respectful and caring. I cannot thank them all enough - nurses, carers, support workers, activities coordinators, management, admin and not forgetting kitchen staff! Highgate staff go the extra mile and with a smile, but most of all, with love and kindness. They are a testimony to being part of the Kind Care company.

We are delighted with the care and attention that is lavished on my father-in-law. He is happy and contented. No matter when we visit he is always smart, clean tidy and well. Thanks to all the staff you are wonderful.

My mother-in-law has been at Highgate Care Home for 7 years now. The staff have looked after and cared for her despite Covid, challenging behaviours and illness. They are caring and attentive. Thank you for continuing to provide excellent care.
