View Full Details of Craigbank Care HomeI have just attended my brothers 4 week review, and whilst there requires to be more time and experience to review my brother's care in Craigbank, the time and information, consideration given at the review was very helpful and I look forward to working with Craigbank to support my brother's personalised and diverse care needs. Staff are pleasant, smiling and welcoming which makes all the difference.
My husband has been a resident since July 2020. The staff are very good in caring for him. They keep me updated and include me in his needs and any concerns as per his care plan. I am involved in his care plan and any decisions in his day to day living. Although my husbands's condition is that he can no longer communicate or make decisions, I am confident that all aspects of his care are being met.
Craigbank Care Home staff very helpful. Cares good very helpful with my brother. My brother is cared well in Craigbank Care Home. Staff work hard in the job they do.
Very happy with my aunt's care. The room is always spotless. My aunt is always clean and tidy.
My wife has been a resident in Craigbank for 3 years, having previously been in another care facility. She moved to Craigbank because her illness is advanced and she requires a lot of care. Throughout her time in Craigbank, I have been very pleased and satisfied with the care and attention to her has been of a high standard. I can see that she is always dealt with in a friendly manner with respect and dignity. Although communication is difficult I can see that my wife trusts her carers and responds well to them. All the staff are caring and patient with the needs of the residents. I have total trust in all of them. I have always been told of any issues r.e. health etc, timings. I honestly cannot believe that my wife would receive with care anywhere else. A big thank you to all staff.
The staff at Craigbank go above and beyond for their residents. I feel staff genuinely care and love my Gran and will do their utmost to make sure she is happy and comfortable because of this I have been able to build up a great relationship with both staff and management. Any problems or suggestions I have are taken on board and facilitated if possible. I am also notified swiftly of any changes to my Grans routine or care plan change.
The staff was nice and noticed my brother needed to see a doctor and go to hospital and they have been great with his care.
In the recent two weeks, it has been my pleasure to communicate with caring staff and see the ongoing care of residents second to none. My own experience in the USA has been similar as I had a mother and grandmother in senior care. Treating a resident with respect and continuing physical and exceptional care is necessary and much appreciated by the family. My personal love and appreciation to the staff!
The whole team at Craigbank are approachable, helpful and kind at every support level, every question I had was dealt with, with care and patience. I have peace of mind of knowing that Dad will be cared for with dignity.
Dad is treated so well by all staff; nothing is an issue. Staff always keep Mum and I well informed of how Dad has been. He always has a smile on his face and appears to be enjoying himself. His transition from residential care to dementia nursing care has been treated with such kindness and sincerity by all staff. Thank you for your concern and kindness.
My brother loves it here, he calls it his 'wee hoose'. He is happy and content with the staff, he has some days when he dozes off to sleep when we are there but most of the time he is happy. He was always a happy person and he knows me as his sister and knows my other brother but doesn't know his daughters and their families. The staff are very good with him.
The staff and home are great with my mum every day and settle her any time she is upset/unwell.
My brother is very well looked after. He is very happy and the staff are very kind to the patients. He likes the meals and is doing very well.
Very helpful, happy that my mum seems settled and looked after.
The staff treat her very well. They are friendly as well with visitors. My sister is treated with respect.
My mum has now been in Craigbank Care Home for five months now. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. My mum has settled in well and I can see the staff understand her needs and have got to know her in this time. The home is always clean and residents are always getting plenty of drinks and snacks in between meal times. It would be nice to see activities within the ward as I have not seen any so far.
The care my uncle receives is amazing. The staff are always professional and happy. The phone system requires upgrading.
We visit my dad regularly but at varied times due to our availability. We have always found my dad clean and well looked after. Staff are available for updates on his activities and his general well-being.
My wife has only been in the care home for 7 weeks. So really myself and family are first assessing the situation, which so far seems satisfactory.
My family and I went to visit my father and the weather was very warm that week, the carers brought my father down from the living room area into the back garden. He was provided with a sun hat also we were offered tea/juice and biscuits. The management offered ice lollies to my young daughters. We stayed for under an hour, the staff made us feel welcome, were engaging and noticeably made an effort for our visit to be pleasant. We have no concerns as to the level of care my father is receiving.
