rate out of 10 - 10 Amazing support alway around the person Very person centred in all aspects of care and support people first. Great staff Team a true credit to all. manager and Deputy manager alway give 100% all the time and alway their to help and support#it just one big family like home from home magical home a true credit to all.

My wife has been here for nearly 6 month now and all the staff , nurses and carers are amazing they look after her really well and take there time provide excellent care all member of staff are pleasant and really friendly , I think this care home is the best in Darlington and absolutely spotless , lovely that I can also make myself a coffee in the kitchen or most of the time staff will ask if I want a cuppa and cakes are always available I take my dog chip each time I visit my wife and he loves going because they all love him The ward my wife is resident on had recently been decorated and it really looks homely and snug and new seating is going to be installed shortly which I am so looking forward to be able to site and have a cuppa with my wife Great work all of you keep it up Thanks so much

Thank you all for your great care, support and professionalism during my mothers stay at Barchester Care Home. My brother and I greatly appreciated everything by all the wonderful staff. Lovely to know Mum was in good hands, respected and well looked after in all her time at Barchester.

I find Hundens Park Care Home a pleasant surrounding with friendly staff and efficient management. My mother enjoyed her surroundings. The food was very good and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a caring and safe residential home.

I am writing this review to express the happiness that I had during a visit. To start with, the home looked absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere was peaceful and the environment took me straight into the Christmas spirit. Visited one of my dearest and was amazing to see a fantastic spirit and health progress in the last couple of months. Talking, the resident could not praise the staff enough, stating how lovely all are, how responsive they are towards his needs, enjoying the activities, choices respected and extremely happy with his room. The quality of life was, without any doubt, visible and could tell how happy he was to call it his home now. Staff have been highly professional, visible kindness towards him and with a smile on their face. Thank you all for making him happy, thank you all for all your hard work, it does not go unnoticed.

My husband was diagnosed with dementia ten years ago. We have been together since we were teenagers, sixty years ago. At first, his decline was slow but a year ago he went into a care home. However, recently due to his deteriorating condition. he was moved to Barchester Hundens Park Care Home. I was very worried and apprehensive as I wasn't sure how he would cope with the change. I needn't have worried. He has settled in well and is happy. His room is spacious and now with some familiar pictures and furniture, it is like home to him. I love the light, airy, clean look of every area and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and caring. I cannot praise them enough. It has given me peace of mind and much comfort. It isn't easy adjusting to a life on your own after so many years together but now I know he is happy and well cared for I can stop worrying about him and enjoy life.

Excellent support for my mam, the care is first-class, the room is clean, the facilities are good, the support for her medical needs has been great. They also provide secondary support for my dad when he visits, just checking he is ok and giving him a coffee on his visit. My mam has been in the Barchester Hundens Park Care Home now for over three years and we have no complaints at all.

The home is wonderful. The building could be the 'best' hotel. The staff, from the wonderful cleaners to the brilliant manager, would be very hard to beat. The welcome, smiles and professional attitudes are rare in any environment but the happiness your staff express is phenomenal. I am very blessed to have my husband nursed with such care and love. After fifty-three years of marriage, I never though such a parting would ever be so joyful. I know if I die tomorrow he will be loved and cared for.

Since Mum went to stay at Hundens in May 2022 staff were absolutely excellent with her. They treated her with respect and compassion. I felt she wasn't just 'another' resident but a treasured and valued individual. Her last month there before she passed away all staff went above and beyond my expectations to care for her and make her comfortable. In addition, they were very caring and compassionate to me during the difficult time. I highly recommend Hundens Park.

My mam has been at Barchester Hundens Park Care Home in the Swanton unit for one and a half years. I did not think she would settle when she first arrived there. With the care of all the nurses and carers, she seems happy in her own little world. The staff are very kind to Mam and myself. I have 52 miles to travel to see her, so in the beginning I was very worried with her being so far away but I now know she is being well looked after, I am happier.

My mum has been in Barchester Hundens Park Care Home for five weeks. All the staff are amazing, the care my mother is receiving is exceptional. The home is well-kept, clean and tidy. I honestly can not find fault with anything.

Great staff, always happy to take the time to answer my questions. Always communicate when there has been a change to my brother's health and requirements. I am genuinely confident that he is being given great care and respect and all efforts are being made to protect his dignity given his circumstances.

I cannot fault this care home. It's clean and tidy, and the staff are very professional, caring and friendly. My mam, who has been there for just over a year, has been looked after so well by the caring staff, and nothing is ever a problem for them. I would recommend this care home to anyone and would like to say a big thank you to every member of staff. They should all be very proud of themselves.

My grandma resided with Hundens Park Care Home for a short couple of weeks. From the day they said that they would be able to take her, my grandma was thrilled and the happiest we had seen her in weeks after her cancer diagnosis. Hundens Park welcomed my grandma with open arms and immediately felt like she was part of a family which again, welcomed us and we were made to feel part of the family. My grandma sadly took a turn for the worst and unfortunately passed away but the care from this home was unbelievable! We will never be able to thank Hundens Park enough for their work, kindness and sheer respect! They allowed us to stay with grandma day and night and I can truly say that they have the best team! I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of Hundens Park for their kindness! You made my grandma very happy and she really did feel at home! The food was fantastic and the care, safety and cleanliness of the home were amazing! Would definitely recommend!

My mother has very advanced dementia. Hundens Park was recommended due to the high level of care she needed. They were the only home local to us that could provide that level. They are amazing with her; she is supported, cared for and loved, even by a team that has taken the time to get to know her. The meals are healthy and plentiful. It really is a home-from-home. Highly recommend it.

I cannot fault this care home at all. It's clean, and the staff are just wonderful with my mum, who has been with them a few years. She suffers with dementia, and although she cannot recognise me now or make her needs known, the care the staff give her is just wonderful. They are so loving and patient with her. It really is wonderful to see. I know my mum is getting 110% care where she is and trust the staff with her implicitly. I really can't praise the staff here highly enough.

I have found the home a very friendly place where my husband is very well cared for. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff to help him. All the staff are brilliant and very caring. My husband and I are very happy with everything.

My mum has been a resident in Hundens Park's Swanton Suite for a small number of ladies with advanced dementia symptoms since August 2019. She is cared for with respect and understanding by the staff team. Sadly due to dementia she suffers with some challenging issues around her physical and mental health and as her daughter I just can't express how grateful I am for the specialist care Mum receives. Although Mum sadly no longer recognises us, and is unable to express her needs, it's a comfort to know that she is cared for with kindness, understanding and nursing skill. This level of care for vulnerable elderly people is difficult to find and I am so thankful that we found this brilliant home. During the pandemic, keeping Mum and the other ladies in her unit safe has been an exceptional achievement and I would like the staff team to know how much we appreciate their skill and dedication.
