View Full Details of Lyndon Croft Care CentreI am happy with my wife's care during her nearly five-year stay at Lyndon Croft and my best praise is that I did not want her to leave but she had to do so to receive nursing care. The staff were very pleasant and kind, also efficient. I definitely recommend Lyndon Croft.
After my dad was moved to Lyndon Croft on safeguarding grounds. We all as a family were awfully concerned, having preconceived ideas of homes., but those ideas have been smashed. Unbelievable bunch of Angels that care for my dad and support his family members above and beyond, it is a 'home' in every sense and my dad could be nowhere better. We are so very thankful for all they have done.
Both of my parents are residents of Lyndon Croft, moving in August 2023. They have both settled in really well and are happy. Mom in particular is thriving and is enthusiastic about joining in activities with other residents and I can see that she has made friends. Dad has mobility issues but he is also included to join in with encouragement from staff. They treat and respect the needs of all residents which is down to excellent care from staff.
Both of my parents resided in Lyndon Croft, unfortunately, my father passed away last April. The staff were so supportive, they came in on their day off to dress Mother and stand with her whilst the cortege went past. I visit as often as possible and all the staff say hi, ask how I am and give me an update on Mother. They provide me with peace of mind, knowing Mother is safe and well and I will be informed of anything untoward, excellent service.
The past few months I can see lots of improvement, especially with the new staff. I have good relationships with staff and management so I try to help out as much as possible, which helps to keep our relatives happy. The food is slightly improved but some days could be better.
My mum was at Lyndon Croft for nearly 10 years. She was happy there and the care and attention she received were perfect. I was always informed of any incidents or illnesses. The staff are and were wonderful. Thank you.
Generally, my experience of Mum's care has been really positive. The cleanliness and efficiency of staff is very good. The staff are friendly and generally seem to have Mum's best interests at all times. Mum has improved so much during her stay, she has put weight on and is less anxious.
My mother was placed in temporary respite care and received fantastic service. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food. A special mention to the manager; she was always helpful and a credit to the company.
My father was a resident of Lyndon Croft Care Centre for the last 22 months and we have nothing but thanks and praise for the team. The manager runs a team of compassionate people and the last few weeks of my dad's care was exceptional. He died with dignity in a wonderful environment. It has made our lives complete knowing that when we handed him over to their care that all of his needs were met, together with his emotional requirements. Dementia takes individuals differently and my father was loved, understood and supported through all of the stages of his illness. We would highly recommend!
I would like to thank all staff and careers for the fabulous care given to my mother during her last 2 years of life. My mom was a resident at Lyndon Croft from March 2019. During visits and the pandemic, my mom always received the best of care even though I was unable to visit. Her pet hate was having a shower! A couple of weeks ago my mom suffered a stroke and thankfully was returned to Lyndon Croft for end of life care. During those last 8 days, I was able to stay at the care home with my mom and was witness to the fantastic care of both day and night staff to all the residents. How they switch off after a 12 hour shift ceases to amaze me. They are worth their weight in gold. I even received meals and plenty of coffee through this time. Thank you to everyone at Lyndon Croft, I wouldn’t have coped without you.
My mom resided in this home from 2017 until February 2021. I always felt that Mom was well cared for and loved by staff. The carers got to know Mom's character and were keen to know about her life before dementia, so they could talk to her about it. They would pamper Mom by doing her hair and painting her nails etc. The manager was always available and would go over and above to help with any worries or concerns the family had. The carers were also eager to help us. This home sees its residents as family. In turn the residents see the carers as family and I know Mom became attached to a few carers there. Sadly, Mom passed away in February 2021. I was fortunate to be with Mom as she passed and the carers were so considerate and supportive. The carers treated Mom with dignity and respect to the very end and could not do enough for us as a family. I will never forget the care and love Mom got from this home and I will miss the lovely staff (too many to mention) and residents alike.
My mom has been in Lyndon Croft for nearly 3 years. The staff are so caring and management very approachable. We are very pleased with the care Mom has received over the past 3 years.
My aunt arrived at Lyndon Croft Care Centre at the end of July 2019 and so I have only been going a short time but already, I can see how caring and lovely all the staff are. My aunt has been well looked after and gets on well with all the staff. My dad (resident's brother) had a fall and broke his ankle on the day my aunt went into the home and every time my mum and myself went to visit my aunt, they always asked after him. As a family, we have peace of mind knowing she is in safe hands.
Would recommend anyone with a dementia family member to view your home.
Every staff member at the home made a very difficult situation a lot easier. They all loved and cared for my father so well. They made it so easy to visit. I never worried about my father's welfare, I knew he was being well looked after.
Excellent standard of care here and full attention given to Dad at all times. He is very happy here and we are content that he is safe and well looked after. Many thanks to all concerned.
Lyndon Croft Care Home, what can I say, but they are caring and nothing is too much for them. My husband is there and is cared for and they are very friendly girls. Nothing is too much for them. He is kept clean and the room is clean. It's very good.
My dear Aunt was cared for at Lyndon Croft in Solihull. Dementia had affected her to a great extent and she was not always the kind polite lady I used to know. Her stay in Lyndon was just what she and I needed, her care plan was exceptional. She had her own room with her own items around her. I was able to visit at any time, take her out, and even make us both a drink in their kitchen. The staff and management are kind, respectful, patient and dictated. It’s not the most modern of buildings but it’s run like home from home. Thank you all for taking such great care of my Aunt, even if she sometimes forgot to say it.
From the initial visit to Lyndon Croft, I was very pleased with the facilities and the care shown to the residents in the home. My mother has Dementia and the care they took to look after her made both myself and my father relaxed and comforted. As well as all the other care home staff I have to make special mention of the manager who was exceptional and really made leaving my mother a 'pleasant' experience. Thank you.
When my mother was discharged from hospital and became a resident of Lyndon Croft she was still recovering from a very bad water infection and suffering from dementia. The staff and the home are wonderful very caring and they work tirelessly to improve mom's health. Mom seems to be very content, happy and safe. We are very pleased. They make the resident and their family very welcome.
