View Full Details of Lindum CourtMy dad is currently in respite care here and I genuinely couldn't be happier. The staff are all so lovely and caring and go above and beyond to look after the residents. No matter when I go visit I'm always greeted like family and the home has a wonderful atmosphere. I'm not sure how long my dad will be staying but even if it became more permanent I would have no worries at all about his well being. It truly is a lovely place.
My mum has been in Lindum since July 2016 and the minute she walked through the door we knew that she was at home. Over the years her health etc has deteriorated but the care she receives is second to none. As we live 30 mins away it means the world to know that our mum is being looked after when we can't get to visit especially with all that has been going on over the last couple of years. In December last year mum was put on end of life care after a stay in the hospital, The care and love that mum gets is the reason she is still hanging in there. I regard the staff as friends as I know its not just a job to them they genuinely care.
My friend was admitted to Lindum Court care home in the summer of 2018, he had lived alone for many years and was failing to ensure his health and hygiene conditions were satisfactory. After suffering 3 strokes, it was decided to move into care. Within a few weeks, Lindum Court has changed his personality and appearance in an existential way. He now had pride and dignity and much better health. My thanks and congratulations to all at Lindum Court, you have changed this man's life from "wrecked" to "worthy". Long may it continue.
A super team who work at Lindum Court and look after mum. Mum has the onset of Alzheimer's and needs all-around support, the team and management ensure our mum is treated with respect and her health and welfare are well taken care of as her life changes. We would recommend Lindum Court.
Our aunt has been residing in Lindum now in excess of ten years she originally went in for short-term care and respite, this quickly developed into a mutually beneficial relationship where she was well looked after and made lots of friends. There were lots of activities and we often joked it was more like an all-inclusive holiday than residential care. In the last few years, she suffered a stroke followed by the onset of dementia, and her needs changed radically, the home then really stepped up to the mark providing excellent care and developing the close friendship further ensuring that care and comfort was provided in abundance - all the staff have given 100%. She is sadly now coming into the final phase of her care but she feels safe, secure and loved, we could not have wished for better care and would heartily recommend the home to anyone.
My aunt was resident in this care home for 10 years and was happy there from the word go. She was always treated with love and concern, even when in the last months, she became bedridden. The staff always dealt with her needs with diligent care and always preserved her dignity. Initially, she was allowed to help with everyday tasks, like setting tables etc. this adding to her contentment and feeling of usefulness.... she had always been a hard worker. Her dry sense of humour was encouraged and shared. Information on her wellbeing/condition was always shared with me, and if there was a mishap, I was informed.
I would just like to thank the manager and the care team at Lindum Court for making my father smile again, I have not seen him this happy for a long time. My father is a big Manchester United fan and I must say I was really impressed with the time and effort that went into personalising his room even down to painting the door red. Many Thanks
