View Full Details of The Olde Coach HouseMy father moved into the Olde Coach House in 2022, and throughout his time there I found all the staff to be caring, friendly and helpful to both him and me. Both sections of the home are clean and welcoming. My father was well cared for in a safe environment, and all his personal and medical needs met particularly as his condition progressed. During my father's final week I felt well supported and informed by the staff involved in his care, and appreciated their calm manner and empathy. Thank you.
I do not believe that there would be a better option for my mother. She is well cared for and safe. There are always enough staff members around. Everything is well managed . The staff are friendly and approachable, The home provides activities that my mother has the opportunity to engage with and also the freedom to opt out of. As a family we are satisfied that mum is OK .
Happy with the overall care given, my mum has been there over 2 years and is very happy there. The home is clean and bright. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food always smells delicious.
my mum has been a resident in the old coach house for 2 years now and i have always found the staff to be very caring and helpful , always keeping me informed and up to date with all my mums day to day care. Thanks to all the staff .
I feel my father is well looked after and treated with care, dignity and respect . The staff are always welcoming and approachable, they will communicate any concerns and listen to and act on any concerns I raise.
Our mum came to the Olde Coach House three years ago following the sudden death of our dad. The manager and her team immediately put us at ease that mum would be well looked after and that is the case. There is a good atmosphere with caring, attentive staff and well organised facilities. The care home has daily activities that encourages her socialisation and stimulation where possible. The home is very central and the staff take every opportunity for mum to get some fresh air and a change of surroundings. This is important as mum's memory is poor but she spent a lot of her married life in this village so she recognises her surroundings. The team are kind and reassuring if there are any questions or queries, and the reception team are brilliant always on hand to help out, communicating well with the rest of the team when we arrive for a visit. What is important is that mum consistently says that she is happy staying at the care home and she feels well looked after by a dedicated team.
My mother is very well looked after at the Coach House. It is my first experience of residential care and I believe I have been very fortunate as Mum has regained the weight she lost in surgery and looks much better than she did. I find all the residents are treated with dignity and kindness which is critically important. I have no worries about my Mums safety - it is very secure with all the necessary technology and Mum has had previous falls but her room is always clear and clean but still cosy. mum is sociable and they often have activities organised and some events which keep her entertained. I would recommend this care home as I feel very fortunate to have found it.
The staff are brilliant on all levels. The care they give to all residents and my mother especially is really good. Always willing to help when needed and always do this with a smile on their faces. They deserve credit for all they do in challenging circumstances. Thanks again for everything you do.
We, as a family, would like to thank the manager and staff for looking after our mum who has been in The Olde Coach House now for several weeks. The care she receives is exemplary, and the knowledge of, and attention to her needs was well evidenced yesterday when we had a meeting there. Mum has been in many care homes over the last decade and the coach house surpasses all others in every way. We are very grateful to the manager and her excellent team.
I often visit my father-in-law in the home. Whenever I visit him, he seems too thirsty. I am not too sure how often he is being given a drink, because he couldn't feed himself. I don't understand about the system or I just worry about his condition compared to other residents. I hope my concern will be clear to understand and see him more lively and fresher. Thank you.
My mother-in-law is very well looked after by the staff. They do everything requested with smiles and courtesy.
My father is well cared for, all his needs are met, cleanliness is very good and the staff are very efficient and knowledgeable they are always very courteous when my family and I visit keeping us updated with any issues that may occur keep up the good work
Very caring, efficient and friendly. Mum's 1st staycation in a care home after being married for 71 years and living in the same house for 61 years. She is now totally at home and we/family are not worrying about her.
Mum is always kept clean and comfortable. The staff always appear to be welcoming and caring. Her room is warm and comfortable and always spotlessly clean. The senior staff are quick to respond to any issues that may arise.
Wonderful care home led by an incredible manager and her dedicated care team. Always, the care team are pleasant and centred around the residents they care for. My mum is in the annexe; it is really comfortably furnished, the food is freshly cooked, and Mum gets a steady supply of tea all day along with her biscuits. Very impressed with the level of care and service provided. Highly recommended.
Really pleased with how well Mum is doing, her overall health has improved since being in the care home. All staff are excellent but only given 4 stars as the owner never acknowledges or says Hello to visitors which I think is a small but important gesture.
We have been really pleased with the care our Mum has received since arriving at the home in April 2023. The team are caring and attentive to Mums needs and nothing is ever too much trouble. They try to encourage Mum to participate and join in when activities are happening and don’t give up on her when she declines - she needs encouragement! The home is clean, bright and airy and very well staffed.
My mum has been in The Olde Coach House for eight weeks. She is well looked after and is happy. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. They inform me of how Mum is doing and take the time to speak to me.
