Brilliant reception for my uncle's 100th birthday. Lovely food at attention from all the staff.

Visited to see our uncle on his 100th birthday today. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a lovely buffet. We were made to feel very welcome.

A great and wonderful time. The staff always make me feel at home. There was a warm and friendly atmosphere and I joined in with the entertainment and fun.

As my husband's health has sadly deteriorated over recent months the care and compassion provided by all the staff regardless of their particular roles has been excellent. They are always there to help and advise and treat him with dignity, respect and the support he needs. It is very reassuring to know he is in such safe, caring and capable hands whilst maintaining an upbeat, friendly and positive attitude. I cannot praise them highly enough.

The support and care at Grangewood have made Mum's move there easier for us all. Staff are always willing to go the extra mile. There is strong leadership and a good team spirit, which makes it a happy and welcoming place for residents and families.

Choosing care is one of life's most stressful experiences, but we were very blessed to find Grangewood! Aunty went to live there after a lengthy spell in hospital, and the fact we had her for so long was down to the outstanding care she received in a home filled with friendship, smiles and laughter. All staff, irrespective of their role, were friendly, supportive and dedicated and nothing was too much trouble and minor niggles were quickly/professionally addressed. The environment is bright/welcoming, but the warmth, welcome and quality of care are at the forefront. A varied range of activities are on offer and staff strive to include residents according to their health situation. They take time to chat and every effort is made to include families in all aspects of their loved one's care/ life in the home itself. The words may be small, but the sentiment really is huge -thank you for making Aunty's final months the best they could possibly be; yours is a true vocation!

Mum was a resident for seven weeks last March/April. Visiting Grangewood today to deliver a small gift, I was welcomed with the warmth and care I had come to expect from this homely care home.

The care and support I have received since moving into Grangewood in June 2022 have been excellent. The staff are very caring and supportive to everyone and always have time to sit and chat and make you feel special.

My mother gets the care she deserves. She always has nice things to say about the staff and management as they are all so kind and helpful. They always know when there is anything wrong and know just what to do. The activities are always different and a lot of fun and it gives family and friends a chance to join in with the residents. Grangewood gets 10 out of 10 from me and my family.

I'm afraid to say have never wanted to go into care when or if the time came to that, but now I have my uncle in Grangewood care home, I would put my name down now! Too much to mention in every way, but most important, is the care in every aspect; every person is met with so much dedication, but all staff, handyman, domestics, management, the kitchen, just on and on. Never known so much time and care given to all.

The overall care at Grangewood is outstanding, the staff are dedicated, treating the residents as if they are one of their own, nothing is any trouble. Activities are many and varied, families are always encouraged to join in. Without hesitation I would highly recommend Grangewood to anyone requiring a care home environment.

My mother-in-law has been a resident in Grangewood care home for approximately eighteen months, during that time she has been treated with respect and dignity by all of the staff and the overall care she has received has been excellent. The well-being and satisfaction of the residents are at the forefront of everything they do. The home is well managed and relatives concerns are listened to and appropriate actions are taken swiftly. Big thanks to all the carers and management.

My mum was in Grangewood care from November 2018 to November 2922, and in all that time, I can say they did their utmost to make her final years dignified and comfortable. It was a great source of comfort to know she was so well cared for and safe in her own space. The dignity that she had, in the end, is something I will always be grateful for from all of the staff in this excellent care home.

I would like to thank the manager and all the staff for all the support in welcoming my father-in-law and mother-in-law into the home. All staff are friendly and welcoming, I would recommend this home. Can't thank you all enough.

My long-time friend was admitted to Grangewood in July 2022, following a spell of ill health in the hospital. Due to her condition, she was nursed in bed, staff took time, effort and good care of her, spending time painting her nails and trying to set her hair. Sadly, she wasn't able to join in the whole range of activities available (party central, great atmosphere). She was treated with dignity and respect. I would happily recommend Grangewood to anyone wanting a care home for their loved ones. The whole team were friendly, supportive and professional.

An excellent choice of care home for my mother in the last few months of her life. She was cared for professionally, with comfort and support. The home was comfortable and clean, as was my mother's room. The staff were friendly and caring; my wife and I were made very welcome when visiting. Activities are regular and well attended by relatives, visitors and residents; in short, an excellent social calendar which is very important. I would have no hesitation in recommending Grangewood to any relative considering a necessary placement due to circumstances.
