View Full Details of Sandringham Care HomeMy mum has been in Sandringham Care Home for some time now and I have found it to be kept to a good clean standard and the staff friendly and helpful. Mum is well fed and dressed in clean well matched outfits, this enables me to come home happy with her care and not anxious and stressed because I know they will always do there best for her.
I am more than happy with the care. The staff are lovely. The environment is clean and welcoming.
Dad always looks clean and well cared for. Dad seems happy and says the food is good. Dad takes part in activities and seems to enjoy them. It is good for residents to do activities together. The staff are friendly and welcoming when we visit.
My Mother has now been in Sandringham Care Home for a year. Not only has she been treated with dignity and respect but also with real love - who could ask for more?
Happy with the care received. Nothing a problem. The staff are very helpful.
My mother is so happy in Sandringham Care Home that she talks about the staff as her family. She feels both cared for and safe. She also, frankly, feels loved. You can't ask for a better environment. Kudos to the management and staff and heartfelt thanks!
My father has been well looked after by all staff. His room is nice and the food good.
My mother-in-law is safe, warm, comfortable and very well cared for. The staff are friendly and there are activities and events that the staff encourage residents to take part in. Management is approachable, encourages feedback and acts quickly to resolve any issues. I feel that my mother-in-law feels happy and safe in Sandringham Care Home and am content that she is well looked after. A very good residence!
I find the staff to be very friendly, from opening the door to me to leaving the home. I find the management approachable and friendly. The activities within the home are excellent. The food and drinks are excellent and varied. The staff on the unit, where my partner is, are excellent, they treat the residents and visitors with dignity and respect. The care of the residents is first-class, nothing is too much trouble.
I love being in this care home. I had previously lived alone but got too old to be by myself safely. I feel safe and secure in my new environment. The carers treat me like the Queen.
Sandringham is an excellent care home. The staff are fantastic and my mother is well cared for and is treated with respect.
I have nothing but excellent feedback for Sandringham and I am exceptionally pleased we were able to secure a place here for my mam. All the staff are lovely and to my surprise, Mam has gone up four dress sizes which is a testament to how much she is enjoying the food. On lucid days she tells me how much she enjoys it here. I would and have recommended Sandringham to friends and family. Keep up the good work.
I have lived happily since September 2021 as both of my daughters live abroad the staff are like family to me.
My dad is a resident at Sandringham and the care home is absolutely filthy rotten, it smells before you even get close to the front door, the whole building is very dirty. The floors have never seen a mop let alone a scrubbing machine, there are cobwebs all over the ceilings, especially in the corners. I have never ever seen a window cleaner both inside or out and my father has been in over 6 months and I visit him more or less every day. There have been loads of times when I visit that I have to let the staff know that my father is wet and needs changing. I think it needs a deep clean and the residents aren't getting the best care, the furniture is absolutely filthy, you wouldn't want your dog to sit on it let alone your family. The dining room is disgusting, there is dried up food on the table and chairs, the staff don't wash the furniture down or wash the floor after every meal time. My father has lost loads of weight, his meals are left in front of him and he isn't prompted to eat.
My mum went to Sandringham in October 2022. She was very well looked after by all the senior carers, carers and assistant manager. When she got homesick, the girls were always there to cheer her up. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Due to my mum's medical problems, I felt the staff were very sympathetic to her needs. Mum's end-of-life care was five stars. Fantastic nursing care. The home was a lovely, friendly place. Management and staff were five stars. I would recommend it to anyone.
As reported in our review of 5 Jan 22, we continue to be unable to fault the care received during the now c.13 months my mother has been at the home. The home's staff - at all levels, of the home's care, ancillary and management teams - have continued to do their utmost to make sure that Mum has remained happy at the home and retained the dignity befitting someone of her senior years. Mum's principle grumble is the mixed/poor quality of the homes catering services/food, with her having to arrange for supplementary supplies of fresh fruit and favoured foods to maintain a more varied and interesting diet. When considering scores this time, we have taken account of the ongoing Covid and cost-of-living situations, and the impact of both on home staffing and operations etc, and therefore on the home's quality of service provision and facilities.
I have always found the staff and management very understanding and very helpful to my uncle.
The care my dad is receiving is amazing. I would highly rate the home and the staff.
Really good care, really good staff, helpful, clean room - all-round great.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent food and service. Facilities are spot-on.
