View Full Details of Nazareth House - NorthamptonMy mother has been a resident at this home for just over a year. I was so impressed when she first moved in with the home and after 12 months I am still as happy. Care staff are very caring and always friendly and seem happy to be at work. There is a good team spirit and it is nice to see management working with care staff. The housekeeping staff do a super job in keeping the resident's clothes well cared for with a very quick turnaround. The cleanliness of the home is excellent. Nice that the residents are listened to and can put forward ideas on what they want to do and change within the entertainment and activities.
My father is very happy in the home. He is very well looked after, and I have no complaints.
My grandad is well looked after and is happy.
My father-in-law is well looked after and we are happy with his care - he is happy and appreciates he is in the best place.
Lovely staff, all so caring and friendly. Amazing service. Take such good care of residents especially my nan. Always have smiles on their faces, it's such a warm welcoming place, feels like home. 100% recommend.
From the numerous care homes, carers and hospitals my mum has been in she has never been so settled as she is now. She's listened to and helped daily with all her needs. I personally can now relax slightly, knowing she's in the wonderful hands of Nazareth House.
The staff are all so friendly and helpful and look after the residents with humility and consideration for there complex needs, they try to join them all in on the games and activities they put on which is very refreshing to see. My Nan is a lot happy here compared to her previous place of living, which makes it a lot easier and less stress for me and my mum.
My mum will have been a resident for two years in May 2025, and the staff have been wonderful with her. From the moment she arrived after a lengthy hospital stay, they have kept me updated every step of the way-whether about hospital visits, doctor appointments, or general updates. She loves getting her hair done and enjoys participating in the activities planned each day. The staff are not only great with my mum but also very friendly, which I truly appreciate.
Staff at Nazareth house uphold a very high standard. They are very good at giving feedback and always very friendly. Staff are well trained and have done a good job at looking after my father. Susan and the reception staff are great
My mum has only been a resident of the home since Monday 13th January 2025 as she has vascular dementia and was deemed not safe to remain at home even with carers 4 times daily. She is still settling in at the home and is confused where she is and on occasion asks to go home. The staff are all very friendly and they encourage the residents to play games and the unit is securely locked at the front (as mum had started to wander from home.) Mum has had a couple of eye medical issues which the team have addressed with the GP practice for the home and appropriate treatments applied. I have only put satisfactory for food and drink as I cannot confirm what the meals are as I am not there at those times. I cannot believe they would not be very good. I have seen extra teas and drinks for residents and offered to guests at others times during the day.
We would like to thank all the staff for their kindness and compassion shown throughout my Dad's time at Nazareth House. We always felt included as a family in the many events and activities offered at the home - from the first friendly welcome upon arrival to the many days we visited. It was always good to be greeted and talk with familiar staff who I felt really knew my dad and always anticipated his needs We really appreciated that the staff always treated my Dad with respect and dignity, particularly in his last few days. I cannot speak highly enough of the way the staff also supported all of the family through this difficult sad time.
A lovely care home, the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. They always ensure that residents are well looked after and that they are happy! Would recommend this home to anyone looking to place their loved one in a home.
There is a very good atmosphere. The staff are both happy and attentive. I feel it is a very safe and caring environment for my father.
All the staff are very friendly. They show compassion and empathy with their clients and have a high standard of care for everyone. They are easily approachable, and answer any of my questions regarding my mum. After taking my mum back to the home following a short break, she stated that it was lovely to be back home with my friends. I think that says what an amazing care home Nazareth House is.
My friend lives in Nazareth House Northampton. He has been here for over 3 years. He seems very happy there. Occasionally he complains about the food and as he is Chinese the food is not always to his liking. In my observation sometimes my friend's bedroom is not always as clean as normal. Staff shortage?
From the moment you step inside you are welcomed by friendly members of a well-organised team. A warm welcome, nothing seems to be too much trouble, all very professional. Nice decor, pleasant smells and very clean from front door to my family members room. The team moved around to suit the family's needs. The support staff must work very hard to maintain such standards of hygiene and safety for the residents. They go above and beyond to ensure each individual's needs are met, all delivered with kind words and a sense of humour when needed. They have a hairdresser on site, provide a chiropodist and most important the GP calls every week to ensure medical help if needed. To keep entertained an activities coordinator has a programme of activities! Forgot to say the catering staff do a wonderful job.
When my friend moved into the home he found it very difficult as he had lived on his own for a number of years. But with the help of the home staff, he settled very well with their support. He now enjoys taking part in the home's activities and going to Church. As a visitor, I have always found the staff very welcoming of me, with my friend's medical condition changing the home always makes changes to meet his requirements.
The home does not smell of anything and is always very clean. All of the staff, carers, domestic and maintenance staff care for the residents and their visitors - and it shows.
Found the home to be homely clean good security. All the staff were very friendly and caring. Very attentive to the residents and visitors.
From arriving to leaving, the staff are always so welcoming. My sister-in-law pours praise about her 'home'. Happy staff, happy patients.
