View Full Details of Benjamin CourtStaff and residents are so lovely and our therapy dog, Bella, loved them so much. We were made so welcome. Will definitely come again to see these lovely people, just hope it's not too long. Thank you to a member of staff, in particular, for making this something to remember.
Benjamin Court Care Home was an essential service for my father when he was discharged from hospital and they noticed some dementia symptoms. From here, they were able to successfully diagnose his ability to return home and whether he would be better off in a care home. He enjoyed his stay so much at Benjamin Court that he didn’t want to leave. People there are very caring and the atmosphere is free and easy with plenty of things for the residents to do. I consider that my dad was very lucky to have such a service and I hope that this service will be available for me and other family members when it’s our turn to receive this kind of care.
My mum and dad lived at Benjamin Court for 9 years deciding that due to my father's disability, a level of care was required. Sadly, my mum passed away in July 2022 and this left my dad living alone. My parents were always very positive and complimentary of all the staff at Benjamin Court. Indeed many of them they regarded as good friends. My parents really enjoyed where they were living and all the activities that were arranged by the staff. Christmas parties were always a firm favourite. They especially enjoyed the facilities when they first moved to Benjamin and enjoyed many nice meals that were cooked in the café/restaurant. The pandemic did change so much at Benjamin Court which unsettled my parents immensely. The restaurant closed, and activities stopped. My parents loved Benjamin Court and all the staff. Although settled in his new home in Milton Keynes and is closer to his family, my dad misses so many lovely people at Benjamin Court!
I am very happy with life here and enjoy being independent.
My experience with living here has been very good. Since I have had to have my leg amputated, I have had nothing but brilliant care.
Mum has lived here for nearly 10 years and although we have always appreciated what all the staff do for her it has been no more so than in the last two years. Yes, we missed having personal contact with her a lot of that time but knowing she was being well cared for and safe took a lot off of our minds. Sadly during that time her health has deteriorated so even more care has been needed, no more cleaning her own floors and wet room either, all that side has now been handed over to the staff and I am sure they have been told a few times how it should be done! It was lovely being allowed back in and on the management side being asked into the office to discuss a query I had on mum and getting a positive response there and then plus an offer of help with it at any time. Thanks to everyone involved at Benjamin Court over what has been a very hard time and we older family members will be happy to put our names down when the time comes xxx
Mum arrived at Benjamin Court just as full lockdown was enforced. The family are impressed with the care and commitment to the residents. At a difficult time, everything has been done to ensure the safety of the residents. The little extras in care to stimulate and avoid feelings of isolation have been excellent. Thank you.
I have found all staff at Benjamin Court to be dedicated to the care of my mother over her 11 years there. They have always shown thoughtfulness when speaking to her and us. We have been made most welcome by them all. The compassion shown to our mum during her last few weeks was outstanding. Many friends have been made while she was there.
After 170-odd days in quarantine, I was taken into hospital with a virus. Eventually, I ended up at Benjamin Court - again in isolation, and worried. But the worry was needless. The professional care of me was exceptional and I soon settled down to a routine. I have always been the type that will never complain about my problems and will always try to be cheerful. There is always someone worse off and me. This means I am inclined to joke with staff. But they put up with my corny jokes, and some even increased my portfolio! But it was not all joking. I could hear the polite, professional manner in which they treated all the other residents. The meals were outstanding and varied. In fact, there were so many, I had to turn several down because I was not hungry! I feel I made many friends among the staff at Benjamin Court, but unfortunately, I have to leave them all behind.
Lack of staff, drunker resident so have been asked to make sure my mother's door is locked. Deal with the resident, my mother's heating has not been working for the past 3 months. Boilers all broke down. Food, catering poor.
I would like to say an enormous thank you to the staff and management at Benjamin Court for the special care, attention and support they provide for my relative. He has lived at Benjamin Court for more than 3 years and in all of this time staff and management have gone above and beyond with care and kindness, making his life so much better. Such wonderful people. Thank you again.
Mum has been in this housing with care unit, and has been very well looked after for the last approximately three years, and it is with sadness that she has had to leave to go into full-time dementia care. It has been excellent.
After having a difficult time in hospital I was sent to Benjamin Court. I couldn’t have asked for better care. The staff were kind, caring and very supportive. The food was all homemade and I soon got my appetite back. So I would like to thank all the staff for getting me back on my feet again.
My dad has been in Benjamin Court homes with care since 9th November 2014. The care he has had from the manager and all staff has been exemplary. He is loved by all and if there is anything he needs he gets. He is at the moment very unwell but nothing is too much trouble for them. Apart from my dad, the staff are very caring to the family. When I say, staff, I mean the manager to carers, cleaners and cooks. I can thoroughly recommend this establishment to anyone. Well done Benjamin Court thank you.
I will confirm that my Father could not have been treated better, he was treated with dignity, respect and love. The Management and Carers of this establishment could not have done more for his care and needs. My thanks and total respect for all concerned. And I will also say that as a Family we were all treaded with the same standards in the two and half years he was there. I would recommend Benjamin Court to anybody needing such care.
The care my mum receives is wonderful - also the extra friendship is so warm and wonderful. All the staff are brilliant (don't want to name names in case I forget someone!) The property is homely and cosy, wish every elderly person could have a home like this.
