View Full Details of Perry ManorMy husband has been a resident at Perry Manor for over 5 years. Although his illness is progressing which causes him to display disruptive, distressing behaviour, the staff from all departments within the home continue to care for both of us with great compassion and sensitivity.
My brother was transferred from a previous care home to Perry Manor. I was amazed at the contrast in what care actually meant. Perry Manor were on a completely different level regarding respect, dignity and compassion shown to my brother. He lived at PM for two years, without any change in standard of care and became part of the home/family. All staff are attentive and professional with the residents at heart.
Dad is extremely well cared for at Perry Manor. It has been his home for several years and the team has become his other family. Communication is fantastic, we never need to worry that any part of his condition and care happens without us being advised of it. The kindness and consideration shown by his carers and also support staff and management is second to none and truly appreciated.
I am constantly very impressed with the care given to patients at Perry Manor Care Home in Worcester. Nothing seems too much trouble and carers are always pleasant and respectful to residents. The home is very well managed and staff well trained. My husband has been unwell for two weeks with a chest infection and temperature. A doctor has seen him, prescribing antibiotics and carers have been excellent in looking after him, helping him to eat and drink, and patiently caring for him. I am kept informed at every stage.
My Mother has received excellent care and kindness since moving to Perry Manor at the end of March. The home is clean, welcoming, and thoughtful in what it provides. The staff throughout are disciplines are engaging and helpful. The medical/clinical care and nursing give us comfort that Mum is receiving the very best care and attention she requires, with excellent communication.
My father-in-law has been a resident at Perry Manor since June 2024 having arrived there with more complex dementia needs. Since arriving he has settled in extremely well and although there have been some behavioural issues the staff have responded to his needs in a positive manner. As a result, he now seems more calm and content in his new surroundings. The staff always greet you with a smile and are friendly and respectful to the residents. The manager at the home is very approachable and her door is always open for a chat. The home itself is always welcoming, it is bright and immaculately clean. The cafe area offers an excellent choice of complimentary drinks and snacks. In conclusion, there is nothing negative I can say about Perry Manor, and would recommend it to anyone having to make the difficult decision of placing a family member into a care home.
Well, where to start? My dad has been a resident of Perry Manor since June of this year, he moved from another care home that could no longer provide the care he needed due to his worsening dementia. Since being at the home my dad's behaviour which can be challenging has vastly improved. The dementia unit is staffed by the same people meaning the residents get to know them and build a relationship and the staff get to know the residents, their ways, their needs, and triggers. The staff are absolutely wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The home itself is kept spotlessly clean and so welcoming, that every member of staff greets you with a smile. The manager's door is always open, to listen help, and support residents and families on their dementia journey. I can see that my dad is so well looked after, he's always clean, dressed nicely, and treated with respect and I know he feels loved and safe. This means so much to me, that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to anyone.
My mother-in-law received perfect attention and care. The staff were always smiling and assisted her whenever needed.
Mum-in-law has been at Perry Manor for three months, every member of staff has been very supportive, not just to Mum but the family too. The place is always spotless and very well run. Food is excellent, even to her asking for 'smoked salmon', it was given as a starter the following day! Cafe is superb, nice place to sit and chat. Plenty of activities, always things going on. It took time to find a home that she and the family feel comfortable and happy with. We can honestly say Perry Manor far exceeded our expectations.
It was a big decision as to which care home my mother, aged 91 went into when unfortunately she could no longer manage at home. After a tour round, impressed with what I saw, 3 months ago Mum moved to the manor. Her bedroom is extremely spacious, well-furnished with a large wet room. her own front door to make it her area. All staff at every level are polite, extremely caring, not just to residents but to families as well with support when needed. Plenty of activities are arranged with staff taking Mum to a local Bridge club and inviting the club to the manor to play. Sports day was fun, winning 3 medals and a cup. The food is good and varied, nice coffee lounge with cakes to visit. The medical knowledge of some staff is excellent which helped me when Mum had a brief stay in hospital by explaining her issues in a way I could understand. Couldn't wish for a better home for her.
Mum was admitted to Perry Manor in September 2023. As a family we cannot fault the care and attention given to Mum during her stay. The team could not do enough to support Mum and the family, specifically her husband. The home is welcoming, light and airy with lovely rooms and leisure spaces along with many activities and services available to residents. Our lasting memories of Mum's stay are happy ones knowing that Mum was in safe hands in a lovely, caring and dignified environment. The manager and the team put so much into making residents' stays a good experience. Again I can only say the care they provide is second to none.
Signposting inside and out. My problem was finding the Perry Manor Care Home and finding my way around inside. Outside, driving alone, I did not see the name Perry Manor written on the wall of the building, nor spot any signposts as I drove into the hospital grounds. You need much better signposting. Inside, instructed to go to floor 2, when I left the lift there was no label on the office in front of me, so I wandered around far too much.
My mother spent her final year at Perry Manor. The care she received was second to none. She was happy here and we could not have wished for better care.
Excellent care home. Very glad my wife had her last few months here. Carers were second to none in the care for her.
All the staff at Perry Manor made me feel very welcome and at home. The care and attention I received were excellent, nothing was too much. The facilities are wonderful, especially the cafe with its delicious cakes, where I was able to sit in comfort with my visitors. I was only at Perry Manor for a few short weeks while I recovered from a recent hospital stay but I would definitely come back if I needed the extra help. Fantastic food too!
A new personal experience, very apprehensive to start but relaxed as soon as I met the staff. All staff comforted me and allowed me to be myself. The staff made my stay at Perry Manor beautiful. The team working for a particular department knew exactly what I needed. Their activities were very much appreciated. Everyone made it a very helpful and lovely experience.
Thank you very much for giving my sister such a helpful and positive experience. You were all so very kind and supportive. Perry Manor certainly deserves it's 'outstanding' inspection report. You are indeed outstanding. With warmest thanks to you all.
Perry Manor has looked after my aunt very well since she moved in December 2023. The staff have been excellent and kept us informed throughout, whenever needed. They have shown patience, a caring, mature dedication and a wish to ensure my aunt was always looked after. Communication of activities has been good, with reception staff attentive and areas to sit and get refreshments well-stocked. One negative was other residents taking possessions and hearing aids.
My spirited aunt spent her last 4 months at Perry Manor Cromwell Suite, enduring dementia and what proved to be incurable cancer, together with deafness and increasing mobility issues. She found her physical and mental limits challenging, which made her care complex and sometimes testing. She received effective, respectful, dignified and individualised care; her room and the building, food, available activities, and never-ending good humour from qualified, well-managed and patient staff around her were all outstanding; she fully appreciated it and accepted it. Nurses worked with excellent local NHS support as her medical needs grew, anticipating each step to control pain. Everything that could be done was done well. Her end-of-life care was of the highest standard available anywhere, and the succession of family members rotating to be with her then was welcomed as if it was no trouble at all. We were so very pleased to have found Perry Manor, and I recommend it without reservation.
My aunty has been a resident at Perry Manor for several weeks and I could not be happier. the staff treat her with compassion and respect, ensuring that they include her in all decisions pertaining to her care needs. There is a fabulous choice of activities, the menu is exceptional and the staff are always smiling. I would highly recommend this home to anyone needing care.
