View Full Details of The Angela Grace Care CentreMy father-in-law has lived at Angela Grace for 18 months now. The home is wonderful and the staff are so kind and caring. He is so content living there and whereas if we were busy with work before him moving there and couldn't visit we'd panic we don't now as we know that the staff will be looking after him. The management are super and always say hello when they see you. They know every resident by name and their needs. I would thoroughly recommend it if anyone is looking for a care home.
The care my mum has received since March 2024 has been incredible. The staff at all levels are caring, cheerful, hardworking, respectful, professional and polite. Feels like we belong to another family here at Angela Grace. It is a comfort to know Mum is being so well looked after. This has been a huge change in our family circumstances, but the staff have helped Dad and I adapt and always ask how we are too. Mum's weight has increased and enjoys the hot meals prepared daily. We feel very lucky for Mum to be at Angela Grace.
From the very first day of my mother staying at Angela Grace I felt at home, everyone was so kind, helpful and understanding. The transition for Mum leaving home and becoming a full-time resident was a smooth and friendly time. Understanding her needs, and her quality of life with keeping her dignity and self-respect intact. Mum has been here for over a year now and she is very happy, I feel at home every time I visit. I love all the staff who care for Mum and I feel at peace knowing she's safe and happy.
My mother has been a resident for 10 months, and we've been very pleased with the standard of care and the kindness of staff. The Care Home is always kept to a high standard of cleanliness by the domestic team. Overall we are having a good experience.
My first impression of The Angela Grace Care Centre was the smiley faces of the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. This positive attitude extended towards the acre of my husband, who has a brain tumour, which means he can be very mad and aggressive at times. He is still always treated with respect and is well cared for. The manager and her team are also very hands-on in his care and in talking to him and the nurses keep me informed as to how he is progressing. The activities team also provide added value in keeping the residents occupied. I feel he is getting very good care there.
Mum moved here the beginning of July and everyone has made her, and us, feel most welcome. All the staff are friendly, caring and full of smiles. Everywhere is clean and there is plenty to do for residents with activities which are thoughtful and varied. Mum has settled wonderfully and is happy, so we as a family are too in knowing that she is safe, comfortable and respected. Thank you to all.
My Mum moved to The Angela Grace in July 2024, from their sister facility, and we really couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the day Mum arrived, all of the staff have been so friendly and caring and have taken such trouble to get to know Mum, so that the very highest standard of personalised care can be offered. As a family, we are so very grateful for the great care that is taken of Mum. We can see that our Mum is happy and settled, she loves being sociable and seeing everyone, so the large number of daily activities that are offered are ideal, and Mum loves being included and joining in with everything. We cannot thank everyone at The Angela Grace enough, for making Mum, and my Sister and I so welcome. The home is always immaculate and well-run, and we can see that Mum is safe, happy and well-cared for. This is a huge relief to us and makes what can be a difficult situation, that bit easier. Thank you!
My dad moved into Angela Grace in December 2023. 2023 was a very stressful time for my dad, he had been in hospital, all over the place and then moved out of the area he lived, he found himself at another home, a great place however, not suitable for my dad's changing needs and it was not in his hometown. I was advised to investigate Angela Grace for Dad, I did and the manager from Angela Grace was very helpful in getting the transfer finally completed. This was not an easy task. The right level of care is very important as I am not around to help him. The team make sure my dad has that right level of care, the home is lovely. For me the bits that really stand out are, cleanliness, communication with me, all my dad's needs being taken care of, finally the team, whatever the role someone carries out, they are so professional. My dad is happy, I know as when I am with him, I can tell. Well done and my thanks to all the team at Angela Grace.
My mother was recently moved to this care home and I am so impressed with the care she receives. The staff are very attentive and they always available if you there are any concerns. The rooms are lovely, bright and clean. I am kept updated of any changes in her car plan and I feel very reassured that she is being well looked after. A huge thank you.
I find Angela Grace a really lovely nursing home, staff are very attentive and caring. The home is also really clean and makes the residents feel at home. They also make the visitors very welcome. The rooms are lovely and well-decorated.
My mother has been living in Angela Grace for over 3 years now. Constantly cleaning on all floors with a team of cleaners. Laundry staff are very good too. The residents are always dressed well and clean. The staff know all the residents very well. Very good team in place. We are very happy with Angela Grace.
When I first visited there the cleanliness was the thing I noticed and that's never changed, then my husband moved in and the staff care for them so much, I know he's very well looked after, I don't have any concerns if I need to go away I know I'd get a call if anything was wrong, it's like my second home now and I feel very welcome, and thank you to all the staff who work at The Angela Grace.
When I leave my husband after visiting I feel assured that I have left him in very capable hands. The home is very clean and bright. The staff make it their business to know your name and are always smiling. The manager is always very approachable and kind. The nurses constantly keep you informed of any medical issues as soon as they happen. Relative meetings plus care plan reviews are very useful. The activities team are superb and provide very interesting daily activities 7 days a week. They put a lot of effort into providing themed activities. Food is very good and there is always the option of joining my husband for a meal for a small charge. My granddaughter, who is eight years old, commented that she liked the staff very much as they were all very kind and caring to Grandad and to her and they were all very smiley, what more do you want for your loved one? It says it all. I feel very lucky to have him in Angela Grace! Would thoroughly recommend it.
The carers are very professional and keep me updated about my brother's care plan and when he needs personal items. The staff are very caring, warm and compassionate. The home is welcoming and offers a pleasant home environment.
My mother had experienced two different residential homes prior to her joining Angela Grace Centre. Her prognosis was very poor after she left the hospital; she was deemed ‘end of life’. The level of care, positive attention, compassion, consistency and empowerment provided to my mother has led her to be alive still after 2 years. All staff are genuinely cheerful and welcoming every time we visit. Reviews for my mother are regular and inclusive. Provision for the needs of my mother’s religious beliefs are met fully, and we are truly grateful.
I visit my very elderly mother more or less daily. The staff are always warm, friendly and very approachable. My mother's behaviour can sometimes be challenging, but they care for her with a high degree of professionalism, understanding and compassion. The cleanliness of the home is impeccable. I honestly couldn't find anything to be critical of.
If you are looking for standards of excellence, look no further. The Angela Grace have looked after my beloved Mum for four and a half years. The staff are all highly trained, motivated and very caring. Nothing was too much trouble. First-class nursing and care staff, particularly the team leaders. Brilliant communication at every stage. Super fun activities team with lots on offer for residents. Management and administration very professional. To me, the best nursing home in the area. Thank you.
I visit this home on a weekly basis and it is always such a pleasure. The staff are always friendly and smiling, you can really see that they love what they do. They know all of their residents by name and their individual needs. The personal care everyone receives is amazing! The standards in this home are impeccable. The cleanliness is of the highest standard. If I had to have a relative in home, it would be this one!
The lead nurse is proactive when Dad appears to be unwell and seeks medical attention and keeps us up to date. The carers are warm and compassionate. Dad's personal care needs are high now (he requires extra skincare to avoid very dry skin and pressure sores) and he is cared for with dignity and professionalism.
My mother became a resident in Dec 2023, since when she has received the best level of care I could have hoped for. All the staff are caring and attentive, with a happy and positive approach. The home is spotlessly clean and very well. It’s so reassuring to know that my mum is getting the best care possible.
