Grandma is very happy at the Amwell, she has settled in well and all of her needs are cared for the staff are friendly and caring and activities are very good. The carehome is clean and tidy and overall a nice place for her to be.

Mum is very content at Amwell The staff are caring and considerate to Mums needs and her wishes .The activities team are excellent and keep the residents busy with a variety of activities .Any concerns we have are dealt with promptly and efficiently by the Manager in an approachable manner. When visiting we the family are also made to feel very welcome everyone is very friendly

From the moment my Grandma moved in to The Amwell, the staff have made her feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home. Everyone is kind, patient, and genuinely caring. The facilities are always clean and welcoming, and there are plenty of engaging activities that keep residents happy and involved. My Grandma particularly enjoys the weekly bingo sessions, and it's means lot to us to see happy in a loving environment. Knowing she is in such good hands gives our family peace of mind. We are so grateful for the incredible team and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality elderly care. Thank you for all that you do!

My family member had to come to the amwell care home while he got better from a nasty accident,all the staff was brilliant even the housekeepers,they always make time to talk with the residents and make sure they are OK.i would recommend this place to other people.

My dad was extremely well cared for during his respite stay at The Amwell - he was happy and also very interested in the extra events. Not only were his care requirements met efficiently and promptly but the kindness and empathy of the staff was evident. For his family, visits were in a pleasant environment and great to be able to enjoy a coffee with Dad in the Riverside lounge or garden. The management were very professional and helped at all stages of his admission and stay, facilitating extra requests promptly and in a friendly, understanding way. One could not ask for a better welcome... thank you.

Our aunty has had a new lease of life since coming to The Amwell. Cannot fault service and care. After losing her husband she was low in spirit, and her health was deteriorating. Since coming here her mood has uplifted. She has reunited with old friends and made new ones. Overall we are so pleased she has found a wonderful environment, with staff that look after her.

I would like to say the care home is very welcoming and it is always a pleasure to be greeted by a friendly receptionist. The Amwell is clean, tidy, pleasant and has lovely staff. The receptionist is very kind and helpful.

My mum's cousin recently went into Amwell, and I have been to see her twice. She has dementia, and I think that Amwell is amazing the staff are so lovely. Everywhere is lovely and clean my mum's cousin has a lovely room and seems to be happy there. The facilities are great, coffee bar etc. A wonderful place; it's safe, and the residents all seem to be happy. Well done, Amwell.

Father in great distress. All the staff were wonderful. Caring, helpful and doing far more than they had to. Couldn't ask for better loving care. They maintained Dad's dignity and always treated him with respect.

Our mother went into The Amwell Care Home for six weeks until she passed away. The care she received was amazing, the staff were fantastic during a very difficult time, cannot thank the staff enough.

My father has been a resident now for two months and in that time the staff have made him feel very welcome and he has settled into the home well. This has given us as a family great peace of mind that he is in great hands and we can see he is being well looked after.

I go once a week to visit a neighbor, I'm always treated with respect, have very good staff, and very helpful. Amwell is a beautiful home very well-led. Spotless staff are always interacting with the residents .. residents are always smiling and relaxed.

The care provided to my Mother is beyond expectation. All staff without exception are very kind courteous and friendly whilst providing a warm and safe environment throughout. Professionalism at its best!

I come here on a regular basis and it's a lovely place, great atmosphere. Always welcomed by the lovely member of staff on the front desk. The staff are friendly and everyone is very well looked after. Would recommend to anyone.

My Nanna moved into the care home a month ago now, the positive change in her is incredible. She was very reluctant to move into a care home at all, however today she told me that she is happy here and feels like this is her new home. She’s made friends with other residents. She loves the food and is eating well again! She enjoys all the wonderful activities and loves getting her hair done.

My mother-in-law has been in The Amwell for about a year now. The care is great and responsive to needs. The staff is lovely and nothing is too much for them. My mother-in-law is very happy there. There are lots of activities available to do from pamper sessions to armchair yoga and use of the gym equipment under supervision plus lots of other activities. The management is visible within the home and attended my mother-in-law’s 98th birthday celebration within the home. The home has a homely feel and is nicely presented.

Visited today and absolutely beautiful place, staff amazing, would recommend and want to say thanks. Residents all look lovely and happy and well-kept. A singer was present during my visit and the residents looked so happy. Go team Amwell.

The care my Dad received between mid-December and early March was absolutely perfect. The team maintained my Dad's dignity until the day he died and treated him as a friend rather than a patient/resident. When visiting Dad, my Mum and I always felt welcome and during the last two weeks of his life, they made us feel like part of their family. We have already recommended this care home to our friends and family and would strongly recommend it to others too. Thank you.

Always a warm and friendly welcome at reception. All the staff are kind and caring of visitors and residents. Activities are above and beyond expectations. Lots of things to do in a great atmosphere for both visitors and residents. Really is a lovely place.

Warm, welcoming, and caring staff. The staff interact with residents and there are plenty of options for residents to get involved in different activities. The feel of Amwell is very warm and homely. My friend's father settled easily and was very content.
