The manager at Woodhill Lodge has been a life saver! She has been with us through thick and thin in the care of my mum since she first came here over 5 years ago. The care given by the staff is excellent and the support for myself is equally so. Communication regarding anything to do with my mum is also excellent. We are always given time to talk about how things are going. Mum has started to engage in activities, and these have improved very much since Mum came to Woodhill Lodge 5 years ago. There is more energy in the place. I hope that the manager and her team get the support they deserve.

My mother in law has been in Wood Hill Lodge for over five years. During this time the staff and management have been super supportive to both my mother in law and to us as a family. It is a safe and friendly environment we feel the team around her are part of our extended family - thank you!

My mum has been a resident at Wood Hill Lodge for over two years now, and over this time, I have seen a considerable improvement in the care she has received. The staff seem happier and effort has been and continues to be made to make residents as comfortable and happy as possible. There is always room for improvement, but I do sincerely appreciate the effort of the management, but mainly the staff/carers in Derwent. Thank you, and keep up the great work.

My father has been in this home for seven years now. There have been many changes of staff and management, apart from his number one carer. I cannot fault the care my dad receives from management down the scale, he's given nothing but respect, patience, and love. As a family we feel privileged to be a part of Wood Hill Lodge. We know he wouldn't receive this level of professionalism and care anywhere else and are so lucky he is a resident.

Wood Hill Lodge is a lovely place! The carers are thoughtful and kind as are the nursing staff. Over the last two months, the activity manager has done a wonderful job. The office staff are so pleasant and helpful, as is the manager. My stepfather likes living here, calls it home and wants to stay! The only drawback is a lack of garden/space to sit etc.

Caring for my father, particularly in these difficult times, is a challenge. The staff of Wood Hill Lodge have risen to the challenge at all levels and the care and dedication they provide is excellent. I know he is safe and well looked after.

My son is a resident at Woodhill Lodge and has been since February 2019. The staff are wonderful, and my son's care has been nothing short of excellent. The recent outbreak of Coronovirous must have been extremely difficult for all the staff, but I have nothing but praise for the manager and all her staff in keeping the family informed of the ongoing situation. I give my grateful thanks to them all; for caring for my son.
