View Full Details of Blenheim Court Care HomeEn route to my daily visit to my father, I took a tumble off my bike, such that I arrived at Blenheim Court Care Home bloodied and bruised. The (aptly titled!) health and well-being manager happened to be in reception on my arrival and immediately took me to the nursing team for their assessment of my injuries. Time was taken to clean and dress the obvious wound but to check I was able to get home safely. For several days after, each time I visited, not only did the health and well-being manager and nursing team check as to how I was feeling, other member so f the care home team made a point of coming up to me to enquire as to my progress. Despite merely being a visitor, the team of people with whom I interacted treated me with such care, compassion and professionalism that it underlined just how collectively committed to everyone's well-being they are, whether residents or foolish, middle-aged men who should know better!
It has been a lovely stay, really enjoyed our experience with all the staff, the home and all the surroundings. Many thanks.
My mum came into Blenheim Court Care Home for respite care as my dad had to go into hospital. The care and attention she has received has been excellent. She has enjoyed several outings whilst she has been a resident here. My dad then joined her for some respite too so they were together. The staff are the best and so caring. I would thoroughly recommend Blenheim!
My mum came here for two weeks respite, and whilst it was obvious the facilities were good from the outset, what impressed me most was the kindness and professionalism of the staff and the huge effort they put in. Through relatives, I know how care homes operate, and I can honestly say I'm amazed at the effort, time, and general quality of the staff. The gala dinner was brilliant, thank you. My mum was very anxious but settled quickly - remarkable. Thank you.
My father recently spent three weeks' respite at Blenheim Court after a 3-week stay in hospital. He was extremely resistant at the time, but in his own words, "you couldn't have chosen a better place. If I ever have to go into a care home again, I wouldn't hesitate on coming back here". The staff were all really friendly, welcoming and attentive. The home was always clean and fresh. There's at least one activity on every day and some visits to local venues too. Visitors to the home were always welcome. Care of this nature is always expensive; however, Blenheim Court seemed better value for money than some other places we looked at.
My mother has been a resident of Blenheim Court since it opened. She continues to be exceedingly happy there. The home is very well-situated and appointed. She much values the friendly, caring staff and the focus on good service delivery of the management team. Aged 94, she says she's in no hurry to go anywhere else!
My mother stayed at Blenheim Court for 2 weeks of respite care. She was anxious as this was her first time away from home on her own, but she was treated with great kindness and enjoyed the various activities offered. We were particularly appreciative of her still being taken to a regular weekly day club she enjoys locally, as this kept some continuity going with people already familiar to her. Her room was nice, she said the food was good and people all very friendly. We hope to repeat this experience next year and I’d recommend Blenheim Court to others in a similar position.
Everyone who looked after me was very nice and caring. The activities coordinator arranged good activities and I was grateful to the lady who took me to the clockhouse. Enjoyed going out to tea and flower arranging and bingo. The customer relations manager came to see me to see if I was alright which was nice. My room was comfortable too. It was all good.
We have been delighted by the sensitive, caring and professional service Blenheim Court Care Home have given my father and our family. Everyone worked very hard to ensure my father's speedy admittance. At such a difficult, it has been a comfort to us all and has ensured a smooth transition for my father.
Visited my sister in law. All staff we saw were pleasant. Room was nice airy and clean. She was being well cared for. Did not have any experience of "activities" so could make no comment. RRather difficult to assess "value for money" as little to compare with but seems expensive but since quality appeared high this is okay.
Blenheim Court Care Home, staff caring, and considerate try to the best of their ability to work out problems. Lots of activities for residents to participate in. It's a well-designed and laid out care home. A bit more attention to individual needs at meal times, eg ask residents, what portion sized meal, if they want gravy on meal or in a serving jug to apply themselves. Attention to bed linen, and nylon sheets are not acceptable, towels have gone past their best (gray and thin). You describe your home in the brochure (page 6) as luxurious, some things do not reach that standard.
I visit my friend once a week and I go on different days/times. The home always smells fresh and clean the staff are always friendly and interact with myself and my friend. The manager is super friendly and nothing is too much for anyone. All in all great home!
My mum is so happy at Blenheim Court Care Home, as are we as a family for her to be there after a stroke. The staff are so patient and caring. We couldn’t be happier or more confident with the care my mum is receiving. Blenheim Court and a local physiotherapy team are working together with us and my mum, to ensure my mother receives the care she needs and wants to achieve her personal rehabilitation goals. I know she is safe and happy in Blenheim's care.
I would not live here if the care, support and accommodation was not excellent.
A wonderful home. 110% of care from everybody and the home always welcomes you. The care that has been given to my mum is outstanding. Could not want for anything. Activities always going on and food outstanding as we had a meal up with Mum. The home always clean and all staff amazing.
We needed my father to have some respite care, he is 91 years old and frail but very sociable and 'with it'. From enquiry through to assessment at his home and admission, it was smooth and straightforward. The care home itself is a bright and welcoming environment and we got a sense of community from the beginning. He was with them for six weeks and managed to get out and about on trips out and there was something going on most days. Other relatives commented on their visits being enjoyable. The friendliness and compassion of the staff were excellent but also the professional approach of the lead nursing team. Not unexpectedly, it could not replace the feeling you get of being 'at home' but is offset by the company and interactions. For me and my partner, as my dad's nearest family, it meant the daily worry of wondering what minor drama might unfold when at home was completely removed, we always knew he would be safe, clean, warm and well-fed, which is such a change.
Very caring home, nothing is too much trouble for them. Lots going on for all with everyone involved. Such a lovely place for my mum.
Excellent service. Thank you.
Choosing a care home is not easy. Blenheim Court struck us immediately, modern, bright, comfortable and fresh. We felt welcome by the friendly staff instantly. Six weeks after moving Mum in, we still feel the same. It hasn't been easy, Mum is 95 years old and didn't want to leave her home, so we've had an emotional journey. The staff have all been amazing throughout, to us as a family. Above all they have been wonderful with Mum, supporting her through the difficult transition of leaving home. She is treated with respect and kindness, well looked after, encouraged to join in the extensive activity programme and is making new friends. For the first time in ages, we feel she is safe.
From the initial contact with the admissions manager, the communication has been outstanding throughout my wife's respite stay and questions or requests have been dealt with quickly. My wife's happiness and comfort has been utmost and with the choice of either resting in her very comfortable room or taking part in activities in the lovely bistro, my wife has contact with staff whenever she needed it. I feel very happy to know that she was in very safe and caring hands, which allowed me time to relax. Thank you all at Blenheim Court.
