View Full Details of Windsor CourtMy review was very satisfactory as we were greeted with support for my sister's welfare. She has settled as well as we can expect. Although we are not sure as to the fact she is aware of where she is. She is clean and tidy when we visit and medically looked after so we hope this will always be.
I have visited Windsor on a number of occasions and it has always hit me straight away the cleanliness of the home ,how fresh it smells and how attentive the staff are to the residents ,the girl who does the activities is so caring and attentive to the residents and nothing is too much trouble ,also the quality of the food at the events I have gone too is always amazing .
My friend and I visited an old friend/colleague who has lived here for a few years. We hadn't seen her since her admittance. We have had a wonderful visit. We brought photos to chat about. Our friend has dementia but we still had fun, a few laughs and our visit was very positive. We won't leave it too long before we visit again.
What a wonderful home. My friend is in here and I feel she is happy. It's so welcoming and bright. A big plus is that there's absolutely no smell when you come in, in fact nowhere in the home at all. Lots of little sitting rooms, attentive staff and a welcome cup of tea. One of the nicest homes I've ever been in. Well done everyone for making it a happy place for residents and visitors.
My mum went into Windsor Court for some respite care after being discharged from hospital. She was in there for a total of 6 weeks and from day one it was more like a family unit than a care home. Everybody from management down made my mum feel special and the family at ease. Please if you need a care home go to Windsor Court. They go above and beyond and they actually CARE.
Excellent care from all the team at Windsor Court. Lovely food, brilliant activities and entertainment. Dad is so settled and always seems cheerful. The staff are friendly, caring and knowledgeable. An excellent place to see your loved one cared for.
Both of my parents live at Windsor Court, and I could not wish for them to be in a better place. My mym has thrived, and they both look so well.
It’s very reassuring to know that my aunt is now secure, warm and cared for by smiling, very friendly staff. I feel she is getting the complete care she needs and as a result, the support and advice staff have given me, have helped me cope with a very emotional and difficult time. I feel I can ask questions freely and feel welcomed whenever I visit. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Windsor Court.
My aunt moved from respite care in another home to Windsor Court at the beginning of January. All the staff have shown such care and consideration, not just for her needs, but for all of us as a family. This has made, what has been a quite traumatic time for all of us, so much more bearable. We have been given very helpful advice and the calm, contented atmosphere in the home has, I’m sure, helped my aunt feel comfortable and settled in an environment not of her choosing. We feel so relieved that she is in a place where she is safe, warm, fed and cared for by people who, obviously, take their jobs and their roles seriously. Staff smile and chat to residents and family all the time and we feel that’s a good sign of a well-managed and run organisation. People don’t smile or communicate well when they’re unhappy! We are so thankful to have found such a lovely home for my aunt and would highly recommend it.
I've been visiting my friend for a good few weeks now; what a lovely, friendly, welcoming I got on arrival. Overall, the home is very friendly and caring; it also has a nice, homely smell. All the staff seem like one big happy team and genuinely seem to care for everyone. The food looks and smells very appetising, and the residents look relaxed and happy. My friend always seems to be happy on arrival and departure. I highly recommend the place.
Very impressed with the level of care Mum is receiving, there is always a member of staff on hand in the lounge and they keep an eye on residents. The level of food intake is monitored and care is given in providing medication. Health is also monitored and local doctors surgery is on hand to provide visits to the home. Mum is really happy here and there are also lots of activities to keep residents entertained and provide stimulation. As Mum suffers from Alzheimer's, our only concern is that we are a bit in the dark over what help is provided to Mum when we are not there - how often is she bathed, is she losing or gaining weight, etc. It would be really useful if there was some kind of online access to high-level information - instead we have to ask staff. However, other than this we are really happy with the level of care she is receiving.
We visited a friend who had recently moved into Windsor Court, not knowing what to expect. We were greeted by a very friendly reception team and a beautifully decorated foyer, all ready for Christmas. The standard of furnishings and decor is of the highest quality, and the home is immaculately clean and comfortable. Our elderly friend said she had settled in immediately and had no regrets about making the move. She was very happy! The cogge and biscuits were an added bonus. What a truly delightful place!
When we as a family went to look around Windsor Court we immediately knew this was the place for our mum. The care, compassion, reassurance and empathy shown to our mum and us by all staff has been amazing through this process and have helped us as a family come to terms with having to find a care home for our mum. Our mum has settled in so well and has joined in some of the numerous activities that are held every week, she particularly likes the singing and music sessions when different people come in to entertain the residents. The rooms are en-suite and lovely facing out into the garden.
Sadly, my father was only in Windsor Court for three weeks before suddenly having a large bleed, which led to the hospital, Covid, and sadly passing away. I visited him most days, and the standard of care he received was excellent. The staff were extremely pleasant, friendly and in tune with the residents. Their attention to detail was wonderful. Dad would not have to me about this bleed, it was spotted by the staff as they changed his stoma. They acted quickly and gave him the best chance. The place was squeaky clean, the decor pleasant, the food good, and the activities well planned.
Lovely friendly staff and excellent care for my dad. He is so happy here and has all his needs attended to. Couldn't ask for anything more.
When I have been to visit, it is always lovely and clean and a very friendly place. They make you very welcome indeed. 10/10 for me.
Staff care for my friend and is also very supportive of me, like having an extended family. Everything that could be done is being done.
Windsor Court is a home away from home. The staff are always warm, friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic and supportive when struggling with Mum's decline and give the best hugs. Mum is very happy here and feels safe. If we need anything the carers or managers are more than happy to help. The activities are great, varied and fun for Mum and us. The team do a fantastic job with seasonal/theme decorations and also come in on their own time a lot!
My mum has been living at Windsor Court since August 2019 - initially for respite but she then decided to stay and have ‘no worries’ as she was struggling to live on her own. She is happy, well cared for and safe, treated with respect and living in a happy environment with all her needs being met, which is her family’s main priority. Mum has Parkinson’s and other health issues but is aware and appreciative of what’s going and she/we have no complaints. Communication with me, as the main contact, is excellent. A big ‘Thank You’ to all involved for your hard work, kindness, support and care.
My mother became a permanent resident at very short notice and the staff could not have done more to make her feel settled. It must have been very daunting for her to move in knowing she would never go home again but all the staff have been wonderful and could not have done more. Every day the staff work very hard to make sure she has all she needs (or wants) and nothing seems too much trouble. From me walking in off the street and being shown around with no notice, to mum's arrival, I have not had any concerns or worries. I feel so relaxed knowing that there are attentive staff on call to make sure mum is happy and secure.
