View Full Details of Lilbourne Court Nursing HomeMy Husband lived at Lilbourne for 5 years until he passed in March 2025, he was very well cared for, happy and supported, the staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and caring. I am so glad I chose this nursing home and would recommend to everyone
My dad was admitted for what turned out to be end-of-life care. I cannot praise the carers and staff enough for their love, care, support and attention to detail. It really did feel like we were surrounded by an extended family. We were all made very welcome, and the staff helped to facilitate a peaceful end of Dad's life surrounded by family and love. I have been a nurse for 40 years, and I can't fault the care of my dad in any way. Nothing was too much for them. They made an extremely hard time bearable, and I will always reflect on this with a smile. Thanks to the manager and your lovely staff.
As I only visit my wife now and then, it is difficult to assess some areas In the main, the nursing home seems to be well run. The staff are friendly and helpful and the residents are cared for.
Throughout my husband's care and nursing the very best attention was paid to him as an individual. All the staff displayed the height of professionalism and concern for his well-being and dignity.
This care home is of an extremely high standard. Any problems are dealt with thoroughly and efficiently. I keep in regular contact and have found all the staff and the new manager very helpful. As it is not easy for me to visit very often, I am kept informed of everything going on. All my father's needs are dealt with and the staff have no problem making him copious amounts of tea whenever he wants! Well done to all of you, and a big thank you.
I find this home so kind and inviting. The manager is great, and the staff are great also.
Awesome experience, lovely staff. Any problems are addressed quickly.
I have informed the home manager that I will like to compliment a staff member who just started to work in the home recently. Since they started to work at Lilbourne I have started to smile again which is something I haven't been doing before, this carer is caring, passionate and brilliant at her job. Also to mention the new manager, I notice since she came into the home I have noticed a positive difference and also seen improvements. I am so delighted to say how happy I am.
I would like to report particularly kind and caring support from three staff members on Tuesday 28 June. I came to visit my friend and these three people, Senior Nurse and two young care workers who were serving supper, went out of their way to give excellent, cheerful and kindly care to my friend, and also to myself. One just brought me a cup of tea, totally without fuss, she just did it - which was a lovely gesture and very welcome! The senior nurse came to give drugs but found my friend sleeping heavily, as she had been for some time. She roused her to make sure she was okay but didn't force the drugs on her while she was still sleepy but came back later. I have noticed that staff are very vigilant over whether she has been drinking enough and help her to drink if she needs fluid. I have always found the staff very kind and caring but I was particularly impressed by the three on Tuesday, their attitude was heartwarming.
On the whole, I feel Lilbourne Court Nursing Home is very good and I am, for the most part, very pleased with my sister's care. Lilbourne Court is particularly good where care, support and kindness are concerned; the staff's and management's attention and consideration are always first class - I have always felt my sister is in good, caring hands. All the staff are kind and thoughtful. There may be a bit of room for improvement, but these are less important things such as making sure the telephone is always answered (this is not always the case and a message has to be left which I am never sure has been listened to) and when answering the phone the staff should identify themselves (this hardly happens and I am never sure who I am talking to). Attention to room cleaning could be a bit tighter; I regularly clean my sister's room because some areas seem to be overlooked. As I say, less important things, but worth noting nonetheless as such things can become frustrating and overshadow all the good stuff.
Caring staff. Usually, respond promptly to call bell.
The staff were caring from start to finish.
My mother-in-law was here for four weeks but in those four weeks, she made friends and was treated with dignity and respect. In her final days, the staff were excellent (as always) and allowed us to stay with her 24-hours a day. All the staff are a credit to management. We couldn't have asked for a better home.
The standard of nursing care is above and beyond any other I have been to. My nan wants for nothing and is cared for with compassion and respect.
My mum has been a resident here for the last 18 months, I can not stress how happy I am with her care, the activities, freshly home-cooked meals and the cleanliness of the home. In my mum's previous care home she had recurrent UTI's this no longer happens. The environment is modern and spacious. The gardens and views are stunning. I couldn't be happier with the care Mum receives. The home is very well managed and the team are all very approachable if I have any concerns or questions. Throughout Covid, the team have kept me updated with news and photos of Mum.
