View Full Details of Evergreen ManorWe are so grateful as a family for the wonderful support and care we received from all staff while our wonderful mom was with you. Forever grateful for your support and kindness. Our mom was a resident with you for the last 8 months and we cannot thank you enough for all the encouragement you gave us all. You are all heroes without capes.
We were nervous at first and did not know what to expect, but the the staff and management alike were assuring and attentive. We are so, so happy with our choice and just so happy to see Dad well cared for.
In April my father was offered a place at Platinum Nursing Care on an end-of-life pathway. My father and I were shown around by a lovely member of staff who took great pride in discussing the home and where my father would stay. Consequently, we were both impressed and likewise my father's stay was first-class in all areas. My father received dignity, respect and compassion from all members of staff. Sadly my father passed away on the 15th of August. The send-off by the home and collection by the funeral directors was very special.
Following a diagnosis of a terminal illness, my father was discharged from the hospital into the care of Platinum. During his time at Platinum, he was shown nothing but love, care and compassion all at a level that a relative can only hope for. All the staff “knew the person inside my father” this was something the family really valued. As a regular visitor, I was always greeted in a hospitable manner, something again that will form a lasting memory for me. Thank you to all the staff and management for providing a pleasant and safe environment for my father's last weeks in this world. Even after his passing, the serene environment they created in his room was such that my wife and I could easily say goodbye to my father. For clarity, I have not commented on the value for money section as the placement was NHS funded; however, trying to put a price on the dignity and respect we all received would be difficult to do.
From the front of office staff to the head cook and carers, they were all wonderful and went above and beyond to accommodate.
I find that this care home is an excellent residence for my mother. All of the staff are extremely caring and treat my mother with dignity. We as a family visit on a regular basis and nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff. We are always greeted with a positive manner, clearly covering all of the requirements that are required to visit the site. Everywhere in the home is always clean and tidy and we feel very pleased that my mother is being looked after so well in later life.
During several months of visiting Platinum Nursing Care I have invariably been greeted by pleasant and caring members of staff. I have noticed that the premises are kept spotlessly clean and have never experienced any obnoxious odours. Meals, which are prepared on site, are tailored to individuals' requirements, are well presented, varied and residents are offered a choice the preceding day. Residents have the opportunity to take part occasionally in religious services. Residents are sometimes entertained by visiting entertainers or have Bingo sessions all of which are very popular.
I have found the staff and management very kind and helpful. They all loved my sister. She sadly passed last Friday 24/02/23. I am eternally grateful for her care.
Platinum Nursing Care provided care for my mother that was of such a high standard. Mum was always treated with respect, kindness and dignity. The staff, without exception, treated the family with kindness. Platinum Nursing Care is a happy, clean and caring environment, which is well-led and has a loving ethos. Thank you so much, Platinum Nursing Care.
Although my mum was only there for about 24 hours before she sadly passed you would of thought the staff had known her for years. The staff were not only very professional in my mum's short stay but made her, and my family, really welcome. I would recommend Platinum Nursing Care to everyone who needs really good professional care.
My elderly mother sadly had a fall in September 2000 which resulted in a hospital stay (which she nearly didn't survive) followed by over 2 years in Platinum Nursing Care. During her last few years, Mum was no longer the active, capable person I had previously known and she required a lot of care. I must say that I always found the staff at Platinum very kind and helplful to me, other members of the family and, of course, my mother. Mum died at the end of 2022 and I miss her greatly but I'm comforted to know that she was well cared for during those last couple of years at Platinum. My niece, who is a carer by profession, visited mum at Platinum on a weekly basis (Covid allowing) and also believed Mum was being looked after well. My thanks to all the staff involved in caring for my mum.
My mother was at Platinum Nursing Care home for over two years and I was highly impressed. The genuine care from the staff for the residents was evident and my mother was treated with dignity and respect as well as kindness. Any concerns were dealt with quickly and nothing was too much trouble. The home was clean and fresh and the meals were healthy and nutritious. Even during the pandemic, the staff did their very best to help us maintain contact with our mother through phone calls, video calls and window visits. The staff also provided activities for the residents, such as craft sessions and games of bingo and the residents were encouraged to interact with each other. There was a garden area where she could sit outside during good weather and admire the flowers that she loved so much. I would highly recommend Platinum Nursing Care.
My Father was admitted to Platinum Nursing care for Palliative care, following a period of time in hospital. After an initial visit to the facility and a conversation with the manager, I made the decision for my father to be placed in their care. He was treated very well and received excellent care. Nothing was too much trouble, and they met his needs very well. My dad was both diabetic and had a rare autoimmune condition which greatly affected his skin. He had very complex medical needs, including a lot of prescribed medication. My father was there for a short period of time, and from my personal experience, he was very well looked after. I was made very welcome and so were his visitors. At all times staff were helpful and kind. Providing feedback and updating me on his condition. Everything was done to make my dad as comfortable as possible. The nursing staff were attentive and met his needs, calling the doctor when needed and following medical advice. Thank you all for everything.
I was only at Platinum for a few weeks, I was always treated with care and dignity. The staff were very friendly, caring and supportive. The food was good and drinks were always readily available.
Our mother was admitted into Platinum Nursing CarePlatinum Nursing Care home during May. she was already poorly at this time and sadly one month later she passed away. During this period of time the management were fist class in every situation and the nurses and personal care was of a very high standard.
The care home is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. You're treated with respect. The residents are well taken care of and with dignity, we cannot ask for more.
My brother and I are so grateful for the love, care and attention that was given to mum during her final days. From the moment she arrived there from the hospital, the quality of care was excellent and the support, given to all of her family, was very much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble and every staff member had an extremely professional caring attitude. The manager and staff were always approachable and helpful, and the liaison with the medical team was first class. The care home was well maintained, and spotlessly clean, and we were encouraged to bring family photos etc to make mum’s room more personal. We will always be thankful for the way they cared for mum, treating her with respect and dignity until the very end. We have no hesitancy in recommending Platinum Nursing Care Ltd.
Dad was welcomed with genuine warmth and, during his time at Platinum Nursing Care Ltd, received excellent personal care, attention and was treated respectfully. We found the managers and team of staff to be very friendly, professional and supportive. The nursing care and liaison with medical partners was first class. The two-way communication and opportunity for safe visiting on a daily basis, and at times to suit us, was a real comfort. The facilities on the wing - and specifically dad's room, the bathrooms and the resident's lounge, were all nicely decorated, modern, well maintained and spotlessly clean. We were able to personalise dad's room and access the day lounge, and all this helped dad to settle. We really appreciated the quality of care that dad received at Platinum Nursing Care Ltd, and we would be happy to recommend them based on our personal experience.
My dad has only been in this nursing home for the last month so I can't really know or say a lot about his care yet. I have ticked excellent for the things I've seen and good for the things I don't really know. Hopefully, when he's been here longer and I can come more often, I can tick excellent for everything because what I have witnessed so far I am really impressed and happy with.
Platinum Nursing Care home provided excellent care for Dad. The staff really do care for each person - I was so impressed by them. Dad's food was of really good quality. His room was spotlessly clean, as were his bedsheets and clothes, and the house smelt clean throughout. It is peaceful there as well, with no alarms going on continually unanswered. The management was approachable and helpful. The nursing care he received cleared up health problems he had come in with; they do things properly. I am thankful for Platinum Nursing Care for taking Dad in when he had complex care needs, and they provided amazing care, so much so, he improved. Making care home decisions is very difficult, but for us, Platimum treated our dad as you would want, with dignity and respect, and we are very thankful for them and highly recommend them.
