View Full Details of Elmbrook CourtMy mother moved in to Elmbrook Court at the end of November 2024. I cannot stress how grateful I am for the care which has been provided by the team. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is so supportive and welcoming. It has been a huge relief to know that my mother is looked after 24/7. The programme of activities is incredible and even my mother (who said she never wanted to join in) is loving them. Christmas was made particularly memorable. Communication from the team is timely and helpful. I can't rate Elmbrook highly enough.
All teams have been fabulous to deal with from the manager who was our initial contact to the floor managers and individual carers. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is lovely. It is always clean and the residents are all well cared for.
My father was admitted to Elmbrook at the age of 101. He had been living alone since my mother died in 2016. After a couple of injuries it was decided he needed greater safeguarding. The care he is receiving is exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble. His room is very comfortable and the staff are all very friendly. Food is good and service is great.
Elmbrook have been fantastic since dad moved in two weeks ago. They were able to help us at very short notice due to an unexpected crisis and have managed the whole process smoothly, calmly and with compassion. They are providing the best possible care for dad who is a dementia patient, and we couldn't be happier with the way he's being looked after. All the staff are wonderful, and the facilities are like being in a high quality hotel! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the food is lovely.
My aunt is very pleased with the general facilities and her room, and as her niece, it is wonderful to see her being so well looked after and so comfortable. The staff are so welcoming from the minute you arrive at the front door, and everyone I have met working there is courteous and polite. The decor and fittings in the home are of a very high quality and give an overall feeling of comfortable luxury. The only thing she has mentioned is that she is mildly dissatisfied with the quality of the food, but that may well be down to her diminished appetite.
We had a lovely lunch with my mum, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, including my 3 young children, and the food was very tasty. Overall the home is a very nice, peaceful but cheerful space, and feels a bit like a smart but comfortable hotel.
Elmbrook is a wonderful care home. I have been visiting a friend here for almost a year now. It's inviting, and friendly and I have the warmest welcome each time I visit. The facilities are brilliant, the bistro is well equipped and is a lovely place to sit and chat. I love that there are daily activities, I see many residents taking part and it's a joy to see. I enjoy visiting on a weekly basis, not only to see my friend but the lovely staff who always say hello with a friendly face!
A very cheerful friendly and clean environment.
My mother came to Elmbrook Court for 4 weeks' respite care in August. She had been a little anxious about leaving her own home, but within a week she had decided that she wanted to stay permanently. Both she and I have found the staff very friendly and with a positive attitude and several visitors have noticed how happy my mother seems there. The home itself is bright and airy and feels more like a hotel than a care home.
The care staff are amazing. Very modern and clean home. Everything is shining. I have a 5-star experience with Emlbrook and I would recommend it for sure. My relative feels safe, appreciated, cared for, and loved.
My uncle came for a respite stay (little over two weeks). To say he had a great time is an understatement, he was made so welcome and loved his stay. It was the absolute best decision to bring him. After years of isolation, he came out of his shell. He was so anxious to travel to spend Easter at Elmbrook, but within minutes of arriving he was relaxed and settled. Within hours he felt at home. He can't wait to return in summer. This was because every single person at Elmbrook Court went above and beyond, they're not just professional, but caring and crucially compassionate. It's very obvious residents come first, they're treated with respect and care, it's clear they become like family to their residents. Everyone of the incredible team took time to spend with my uncle. Kindness is what makes this care home a cut above the rest, their incredible staff are testament to this amazing place many residents have no hesitation to call home, they're happy in the knowledge they're loved and safe. Just fab!
Had a family lunch in a private dining room. Excellent service - absolutely wonderful. And the food was great. Thank you.
What a wonderful place! Visiting our friend with dementia, we found him beautifully taken care of, well-groomed and dressed, and assisted at every step by the warmest, kindest carers imaginable in a bright, spotless, airy environment. We couldn’t have wished for anything better.
I have visited my best friend’s mother several times who lives at Elmbrook Court Care Home due to my friend living abroad and my lifetime close contact with the family. The home is stunning and I have witnessed the quality of care and obvious kindness displayed by every member of staff which I believe to be exceptional. I have always been offered to stay for meals and I have to say I was very impressed with the choice and quality of the food.
Just wanted to say how pleased we have been with Elmbrook Court. Mother has been a resident for just over a year now, and during that time the staff have been wonderful in looking after her, and us whenever we come to visit. The food is great, there are plenty of activities available, and everyone seems so happy. Many thanks to all and I would highly recommend this facility.
A wonderful care home for our 96-year-old father who has always insisted that he would never go into a care home. As we, his only children (around 70 years old!) reside in Australia, we have so appreciated the care, support and communication. He is so “content “ (his words), wonderful to see! He looks great, has his haircut and podiatry and he enjoys the company and activities and he has a lovely modern room. Freshly cooked nutritious meals make a great change from the microwaved food he was receiving at his home. Regularly there is entertainment varying from singers to musicians to visiting farm animals including penguins on National Penguin Day! There are also many activities the residents can participate in such as cooking, flower arranging etc. The bistro is a great place for the residents to meet up, enjoy a drink and a chat and visitors are welcome I would definitely recommend this care home and give it more than 5 stars if I could!
I lead a bible study group at the care home and also visit friends staying in Elmbrook on a regular basis. The care home has a lovely welcoming feeling and is light and airy. I pop in on different days and times and there is often something interesting going on. It is also lovely to see staff engaging with residents on a one-to-one basis and all the staff have been very welcoming with a friendly smile.
The support we, as a family, and Dad, received from Elmbrook was fantastic. We're so happy with how well he's settled into his new life. Thank you.
This is care to the highest standard and above and beyond all of our family’s expectations. We would all like to spend more time with our loved ones who have dedicated their lives to us. Where that’s not possible, knowing that they are participating in daily activities and constant care gives peace of mind. Many thanks to every member of the team at Elmbrook Court.
My first impression was very good, the staff were very friendly and efficient, the facilities were excellent. I decided this would be a great place for my Dad who needed to leave the hospital quickly but couldn’t go home. The staff put everything in place very quickly and Dad is now settled in his new home and he loves it. It’s given me a great deal of peace of mind knowing he’s so well looked after.
