View Full Details of Brackley Care HomeMy friend and neighbour for whom I have LPA required respite care at short notice, early October 2024; from first point of contact with Brackley Care Home I found the service received to be of the highest standard; communication was and is clear, concise and professional. On visiting the home myself and my friend and neighbour were welcomed warmly and offered refreshments. Information was shared verbally and in written format. Following on from the initial two week stay, the decision was reached to remain as a permanent resident. All aspects of care are made aware to myself and I have been invited to be part of changing care discussions and reviews. The welcome I receive remains, the care that is given is of the highest standard. Thank You
Every time I see my wife she is smiling, and always sees to enjoy all the activities that are provided. I think she very well looked after and seems happy. My daughter sees her mum very regularly with our grandchildren and all is well. Many thanks to you all.
My mother in law has lived at Brackley Care home for nearly a year. She settled extremely quickly which was down to the amazing staff and other residents who made her so welcome. The facilities are superb. My mother in law loves all the activities and the weekly outings. The family are happy with the knowledge that she is being cared for by such wonderful staff.
Whilst visiting my wife who is a resident on the rainbow suite I was invited to join in the seated exercise session which was been run by the customer relationship manager I enjoyed it and I still had enough energy left to do some work on my allotment afterwards. I was impressed by the encouragement the customer relationship manager gave to the less able participants
My Mum has been in Brackley Care Home for 9 months. She has dementia. Moving her to a care home was a big but essential decision for us to make and I can't praise the staff enough for how caring, welcoming, thoughtful and fun they've been with my Mum, literally from the minute we arrived. She has settled so well and is so happy there, constantly telling me how lovely it is and how friendly all the staff are. It's an absolute pleasure visiting her in such a wonderfully happy place.
I have visited my father-in-law on a number of occasions since he became a resident in August 2024. We have always found the staff supportive and polite, more importantly they always take time to discuss things when visiting. I am very happy with the professional standards of the staff at the home, the warm welcoming environment and the fact that my father-in-law is safe and well cared for.
My husband had to move in to Brackley Care Home at quite short notice due to increasing difficulties with his condition. It was not an easy decision to make but as soon as the family met the staff and witnessed the care and attention he was given we knew we had made the right choice. As his wife I have felt as supported as well as he has been. There is a huge amount of empathy coming from all the staff, whatever their position in the home. They are also always polite, positive and happy which creates a lovely, warm, homely atmosphere. I would have no hesitation recommending this home to anyone.
Brackley Care Home is a lovely, welcoming place. My Mum moved in last June and she has really thrived since she's been there. The staff are kind and helpful and they have been very flexible to meet my Mum's needs. It's always a pleasure to visit her, knowing that she's being well looked after and cared for.
My mother in law was treated with the dignity and respect she deserves from the moment she arrived. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful and can't do enough for her or us as guests. We eat with her sometimes which she enjoys and the food is superb. The new chef even made a special cake for her late husband. The activities are varied and she is beginning to join in with some which is lovely to see. We love seeing what she's up to on the social media page!
My father went into hospital unexpectedly and sadly was no longer fit or safe to go home alone. The social care package in place for discharge was not sufficient or safe for his needs and I was on a race against time to get him discharged promptly into suitable residential care that would cater for his rapidly changing dementia needs. I found gold with Brackley Care Home. From start to finish they have been efficient, informative and helpful and no task or conversation is undertaken without empathy and care. I couldn't recommend them highly enough, the stress and worry that has been taken away is immeasurable. The staff are delightful and hard working and the environment is faultless. I can't imagine him being anywhere else.
My mother spent 15 days at Brackley Care Home as a respite stay, while I went on holiday. She was very pleased with her stay, her first in a care home. She felt that she was listened to and cared for. She said that all the staff had a big smile as they greeted her, and at no time was she made to feel a nuisance. She is quite willing to go again, should the need arise. Her only complaint was that she would have liked more baths! A novelty for her these days, but she had to admit that they kept her very clean anyway.
A lovely care home to live in. First class furnishings. Always made welcome, and given refreshments.
Fantastic stay, feel like part of the family (the bigger picture, sort of). Living here, I see everything though sometimes difficult to stop myself making suggestions to make things easier, forget I'm a resident.
My mother moved into Brackley Care home in early December. The staff were welcoming, kind and attentive and the standard of facilities are excellent. Quality of catering is very high and the focus on activities for those who are interested is really impressive.
My mother was not in the home for long but during this time, she was very well looked after, in every way. We were able to relax knowing she was being monitored very closely and her needs met. All members of the caring staff were always bright and cheerful no matter what their role. Mum's room was light and spacious with a nice aspect. She was unable to use the extra facilities/activities but it was nice to see them going on. Overall, as mum couldn't remain in her own home, this was an ideal place for her to end her days in.
Our relative moved into Brackley Care Home a week ago, we, as a family, are so impressed with the care and compassion that has been shown to our relative and indeed, us too. The staff are very efficient and compassionate in what they do. We would particularly like to thank management for their support and also one of the care assistants, in particular, who, without a doubt, has been amazing and one of the trained nurses. Thank you all so much.
After looking for a care home for my husband, We found Brackley Care Home. We were welcomed and shown around and were very impressed. My husband has been here since March 2024 and is very well cared for. We would recommend this care home.
Brackley Care Home is a very caring, professional and happy place to visit. My sister really enjoys living here and the staff are always friendly. We regularly visit the cafe and have a coffee and cake, it's very comfortable.
From the moment we looked around Brackley Care Home we knew we had found the right place to look after Dad. Rainbow is so lovely, It has such a calm and peaceful atmosphere, with the odd impromptu sing song or dance led by the wonderful staff. So much joy and laughter we witnessed. We can't thank you all enough for the love and care shown to Dad but also to us.
My wife has been here since September 10th. At first, she was extremely anxious and was very unsure of what was happening. Slowly but surely, she started to settled down and is now starting to get involved in the activities and getting to know other residents. For me, seeing the house for the first time gave me the confidence to let my wife come to stay here and I know she is being looked after in the best possible way. Our son and daughter are happy that Mum is being looked after and staff are on hand to help.
