View Full Details of Granville Gardens Care HomeMy Dad has become a permanent resident since September 2024. He has been made very welcome and the staff cannot do enough for him. He enjoys his cooked breakfast in the mornings and especially his fish and chips on a Friday. The cleanliness is gold standard. He enjoys the daily activities but also quiet time in the lounge watching TV. The staff are very understanding, professional and caring to his needs. I would highly recommend Granville.
My mother has lived at Granville Gardens since January 2024 and is doing great, she seems to have settled very well and gets on with all staff. She has made lots of friends and enjoys joining in with the daily activities. The home has a fantastic vibe that reflects within the residents. Not to mention the cleanliness of the home, it's kept to a very high standard. My mother's washing is returned on the same day as it goes to the laundry. The food is all home-cooked daily. Everything about Granville is top marks.
Grenville Gardens is a new home that opened in November 2023. For me, any new home will have issues (teething problems) regarding staffing and procedures. I feel management regarding dealing with time, putting procedures in place and trying to get things right. The staff are friendly and caring. I was sad to see the latest manager of the home leave, as I felt she was right for the home. Hopefully, a new manager will be appointed soon. Any issues I had have been listened to and dealt with overall. I think Granville Gardens is a loving caring home and it looks lovely and welcoming.
No staff, poor experience of care - poor range of quality food - same menu. This site is a Christmas cracker nice on the outside poor quality inside. 4 management have left now: no time with residents, staff short on time. A few activities for residents - no chairs to sit as removed from doors. I wouldn't recommend this care home to anybody. The money is far too much for standard of care quality and food and standard of care from staff. Owner should be ashamed.
Since visiting the home I find the staff are very good. Receptionist excellent makes everyone feel welcome. I find this is an excellent home for my auntie to be in.
All staff very good.
When visiting my mother I am always welcomed with a smile and a friendly face by the staff here. I am happy that my mother is well cared for. At 98 years of age she still has her faculties and therefore can express her choices and preferences for herself... and does so. She has been encouraged by management to represent other residents regarding catering as not everything suits everyone. Her room is private and adequate in size, creating her own space if/when required. Activities are varied and supported. Value for money - ?? (Self-funding).
The staff are kind and caring. Resident is well looked after and all needs are met. The space is stylish and spacious, always clean, tidy and welcoming. The garden could be better tended to and more variety of plants but the outside space is easily accessible which is good. Visitors are always welcome and staff are easily available if assistance/information is needed.
What a lovely, caring place this home is. All staff friendly and smiling all the time and very helpful. I've come to look at them as my second family.
My Grandma has resided at the home since Dec, I have been very happy with the care provided and she is always treated with dignity. My Grandma is settled in the home and seems happy. All the staff are amazing and always do their best at everything they do. They made my Grandma and family very welcome. Thank you for all your hard work.
Could not ask for a better care home. Mum is looked after, safe and well cared for. Staff and management are superb, helpful and welcoming. Would recommend.
I can’t thank the staff at Granville Gardens enough for their care of my mum. She needed respite care for a month and enjoyed every minute. She joined in the activities on offer and relished the freedom to roam such beautiful surroundings safely. It felt more like a hotel than a care home. Mum was treated with dignity and care at all times while maximising opportunities for her to remain as independent as possible. She particularly enjoyed the food and on one evening when she wasn’t keen on the options available was very pleased when the chef came to ask her what we would like instead. She was particularly enthusiastic about the trip to a tea dance and the pancake tossing. The manager is a very ‘hands-on’ manager, he knows and shows care for every resident and takes the time to know their needs and their families. His leadership shines through to a happy, professional, hard-working and caring team who really do make a difference. I would happily recommend this care home!
Really pleased with Mum's experience so far. All aspects of care have been catered for. Staff are brilliant, can't do enough. Facilities are fabulous as are rooms. Keep up the good work.
