View Full Details of Barchester Pinetree Care HomeMy mother entered Pinetree Care Home after a long period of me living full time with her at home with Alzheimer's disease. I had visited several other homes in the area. On entering Pinetree the warm welcome and superb facilities immediately stood out. My mother has been resident there for 3 months and I can say that the level of care, kindness and patience has been excellent. She has settled very well and is eating well and enjoying the activities on offer.
The support received from Pinetree Rawreth has been exceptional. Allowing dad to join in their daily activities months before moving in was amazing creating familiarity with carers ,residents and environment ahead of moving in. A welcoming home with staff who go that extra mile to allay any fears or anxious feelings that residents or their families may have. All staff take an interest and nothing is too much trouble . Exceptional amenities and cleanliness with a friendly atmosphere that tries very hard to ensure everyone's needs are catered for. They take time to get to know residents on an individual basis offering understanding and encouragement organising group activities around their interests making it fun I feel very confident with this amazing team that 'care' about their residents to recommend Pinetree to anyone contemplating respite or permanent care for a loved one.
My husband was in respite for eighteen days to give me a break. He was up every night so I never got a night's rest - I was very happy to put him in Barchester Pinetree Care Home, Rayleigh. It took him a day or so to settle down. Mainly, he was convinced he had to go to work, he is 87 years old. I was very impressed with the care he received. The Pinetree is like a five-star hotel, beautiful. I would certainly use it again for respite if I need it. Unfortunately, having dementia, I don't think he realised how well he was looked after but I did.
We moved my aunt into the care home in the beginning of December and we have found that all the staff are amazing, warm, caring, helpful, gentle and really made my aunt feel at home from the minute she came into the home. We feel that she has settled well and is very happy.
My mum came to stay at Barchester Pinetree Care Home over the Christmas period for one week of respite care. The room was beautiful and well cared for and every member of staff was very friendly and caring. The food was wonderful and plenty of it. She was a bit worried as she didn't know anybody but all the other full-time residents were very friendly and welcoming. I can't wait until I'm over 65 so I can come here myself!
The Barchester Pinetree Care Home is like a five star hotel. The home is decorated to a high standard. It's got everything onsite, i.e a hair salon, a cinema room, private dining and being able to help yourself to refreshments. There's entertainment and activities to keep the residents active on a regular basis. All the staff are lovely and welcoming to the residents and families that visit, its like one big happy family. The only problem I had, was I arranged private dining for my mum and had to get in contact with them three times, due to them not contacting me back. In the end it was all sorted and the room was done out lovely and we enjoyed the food. The lady staff member couldn't do enough.
My aunt stayed at the care home for a couple of weeks. The place is beautifuland all the staff from the cleaners to nurses and management have a fantastic work ethic. They kept my aunt cheery from the moment she came to stay and she would stay again. Once again, I would like to thank you for the care she was given.
Although only being here on day five, nothing other to say than very impressed with accommodation, service at all levels... and the staff are outstanding! Importantly, we can now relax and start to get our life back as we can relax knowing that our brother/brother-in-law, the resident, is looked after so well and he is happy and delighted with his care and having positive, happy staff looking after him.
Mum had a three-week stay here and it was so impressive. It feels like a home from home. Staff are incredible and nothing is too much trouble. Food was superb. Plenty of activities laid on for residents to join in or not each day. I felt Mum was very well cared for and she loved her little holiday. She was able to help out with small tasks, which she enjoyed. The decor is incredible, comfy bedrooms, definitely on par with a five-star hotel. I would highly recommend Barchester Pinetree Care Home - a very caring home.
Mum moved into Barchester Pinetree Care Home about five weeks ago after a few health concerns left her feeling unable to manage on her own anymore. The home itself is beautiful, from elegant dining rooms to cafe areas and smart lounges, cosy corners to sit and chat or just watch the world go by. The smart ensuite bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The food is excellent. Above all, the staff are amazing, without exception, and have ensured that Mum feels safe, loved and very happy in her new home. She's got her old spark back and it makes me so happy to see her joining in with everything on offer and making new friends. She has no regrets whatsoever, thank you to everyone at Pinetree.
I have had a recent fifteen-day respite care stay at Barchester Pinetree Care Home. Mindful of the fact that Pinetree has only recently opened, my overall experience was excellent with the exception of several of the meals.
Fantastic experience so far. Our mother has lived independently for fifty years so the move into residential care was a big decision. The staff at Barchester Pinetree Care Home are excellent as are the facilities. Mum has settled extremely well and seems to be having a great time. Really cannot find any fault.
An amazing and beautiful place. My 84-year-old mother was the first resident to move in, she's been there nearly three weeks. Absolutely lovely manager, admin staff and carers, nothing at all is too much trouble. They all go over and above to make sure everyone is happy. She feels safe and happy and loves all the carers. I feel reassured that she's being well looked after. Lovely restaurants with delicious food, she was quite frail when she arrived and has already gained some weight which is what we wanted. The staff do their best to make sure everyone is included in activities if they wish and as more residents arrive, the home has a lovely, bustling but calm atmosphere. There are lounges, restaurants and bars on each floor and a cinema and activities room, along with a lovely outside area. I'm confident Mum will be very happy there.
My mum moved in a week ago and we can't believe the difference in her. She is laughing for the first time in about 2 years. Every member of staff has gone above and beyond to make Mum feel 'part of the family '. Her room is beautiful and she is very happy. Thank you!
