View Full Details of Cranford GrangeMy father's dementia over Christmas became more acute and we realised he was unsafe at home. One member of staff and the fantastic team worked quickly to accommodate him for 4 weeks while the family began planning. The care he received was excellent and after a week he quickly settled in. The staff were always friendly, professional and helpful. Dad very quickly became stable again thanks to their care. As a nurse myself it was lovely to observe how gentle, kind and patient the staff were with the residents even during challenging moments. There was always plenty of staff around. We were able to bring dad home with family care and support but should the situation change i would have no hesitation in contacting the staff member and Cranford Grange again. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Thank you to all the team.
Mum has been at Cranford Grange for 17 months, having gone initially for some respite. The team at Cranford Grange are truly wonderful, happy, professional, approachable and clearly enjoy working there. Mum is so settled and safe now and it is down to the wonderful care she receives. She joins in with the activities, social events and enjoys the company of the other residents.
My father made the decision to become a permanent resident at Cranford Grange, having successfully lived independently for some time. This was a huge change for him but it has all gone really smoothly, thanks to the dedicated and caring staff. From the moment we made the decision to the time of moving in, we felt supported and valued. He is really enjoying the sociable meal times and the many and varied activities. Staff from all departments take an interest in his welfare and ensure that he is well looked after. Even before the refurbishment was completed, Cranford Grange offered superb facilities. Now it is absolutely wonderful. I have found that there are opportunities for the residents to share their opinions and suggest activities that they would like. We feel very welcome when we visit too. The team at Cranford clearly do care for the residents and I highly recommend it to anyone considering a care home.
Cranford is amazing, wonderful staff giving the best care. Cannot thank them enough for the care they have given to my husband in reminiscence and the help they have given to me. It is a pleasure to visit, and the new decor is beautiful.
Having had a respite stay 7/8 years ago, my mother chose to return to Cranford Grange this year as a permanent resident, as she could no longer manage at home. It was a huge change but one which has gone incredibly smoothly with heartfelt thanks to very caring staff, some wonderful residents, good food, and the social facilities. It's been surprising and delightful to see her being more sociable again, having become isolated in recent years, mainly due to Covid restrictions but also as she became more vulnerable due to ill health. I would highly recommend it.
Cranford Grange is outstanding. After looking around the Cheshire area for a suitable care home for my mum Cranford Grange stood out as the best all around by far. Choosing the right place for a loved one is a very difficult and emotional time. The team here gave me complete confidence and reassurance throughout the process. I would recommend Cranford Grange to anybody looking for a special place for their special loved one.
Cranford Grange is an excellent place. Have been delighted by the care but more so the courtesy given by staff. This plus the fab food choices and the social opportunities makes this the first choice of care homes in this area. Very thankful for all the support.
Cranford Grange is a wonderful care home. I can't praise the staff highly enough - without exception, they are caring, professional, compassionate, and friendly. It is obvious that they genuinely care about their residents and they go out of their way to meet their needs. They make me feel very welcome whenever I visit which makes such a difference. I know that my Dad is receiving excellent care and that I will be contacted if there are any changes or concerns. The accommodation is of a very high standard and the grounds are beautiful.
We are delighted with the care and overall standard of Cranford Grange. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are incredibly attentive and conscientious. The staff have been wonderful with my mum, helping her with her personal needs and extending their experience to support and reassure her. She has adapted well to the change after the move from her apartment and is able to participate in many aspects of the day-to-day activities and outings. All the staff are a credit to Cranford Grange!
My mother has been an assisted living resident at Cranford Grange for the last two and a half years. Her care needs have increased during this time. The care team are exceptionally kind and caring, taking into account Mum's specific needs and adjusting the care routine to keep her calm and comfortable. I've been kept well informed throughout about Mum's condition and the management team have also been very helpful in working with me to ensure her long-term care is affordable. It has been a huge weight off my shoulders knowing Mum is well cared for by a professional and caring team.
Cranford Grange has taken care of my mother for 9 kind years. Having worked in the care sector myself I can honestly say their care is superlative. The staff have created a home. Their attention to every detail of the residence's needs is unsurpassed! The meals are nutritious, well-presented, and created for individual needs. Regular entertainment creates a fun uplifting environment. I feel grateful for the kindness and thoughtfulness of everyone who works there when I visit. It truly is the best place to entrust with your loved ones.
How we wished our lovely man had moved to Cranford Grange earlier. Everything about it was excellent, the staff, the organization, the atmosphere, even the building. If I lived nearer I would certainly sign up for a place there myself. I have visited many care homes but have never seen one of this quality before. Thank you, Cranford Grange.
I was treated very kindly and I have no complaints about anything! The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them.
It was an extremely difficult decision to make once we had realised that Mum needed extra care and was struggling to remain independent. We took time to look around the Cheshire area and had no doubts that Cranford Grange was the wisest decision. It is a beautiful building with lovely shared spaces. However, more importantly was the level of care and trust we've had from the staff. Mum is treated like a Queen! She has been able to decorate her room to suit her style, and a very spacious bathroom and wardrobe area. Her daily needs are met and she is treated like a friend. The staff are understanding and happy to meet her needs but also her desire to remain as independent as possible. It is spotlessly clean and always has a buzz. I have never seen people stuck in circles staring at each other, but usually enjoying a sherry before lunch, having a gossip with each other and the staff. Cranford can't possibly replace home but it is as close as we feel we could get without too much comprise.
My mother moved into Cranford Grange at the end of September with relatively complex care needs. Throughout the whole process of assessment, through the move and settling in, the whole team have been exemplary. The quality of care and the attention of the staff have been superb; the whole team have been focused on Mum and ensuring she is as comfortable as possible. The staff are very highly trained and very responsive. A very, very impressively run care home.
My mother moved into Cranford Grange in September this year following a stroke, which meant she could no longer live independently. It was a big step for her, but I knew from the minute I went to visit that this was the best place for Mum. Cranford Grange is very well managed, and the staff are universally delightful. Nothing is too much effort, and they really do go the extra mile for every resident trying to make their experience the best, even when it means more effort or work for the staff. I have been very impressed on all fronts - from the quality and spaciousness of the accommodation and options available to the food that is made from scratch every day to the delightful staff who knew every resident and their needs. Full-time care is expensive, but we have found Cranford Grange to offer very good value for money. It is very reassuring knowing that Mum is surrounded by a team who are extremely thoughtful, exceptionally caring and truly dedicated.
My grandma was a resident many years ago, and my dad recently moved in after a short stay in the hospital, having said that if he ever needed care, that would be the place that he would like to be. We knew that the building, grounds, restaurant, bistro, lounge and activities were excellent, but as he was previously very independent and active; we wondered how he would settle. We needn't have worried as the way that he has been welcomed by staff has been amazing, not only in terms of medical care but in the kindness and thoughtfulness towards my dad and us as a family. The building is like a quality hotel, but the main attraction is the staff, who are all extraordinary people.
I found all the staff very welcoming and friendly. I would have no qualms about having to come again for a short or long period.
This residential establishment is perfect and outstanding in every way, very much like a five star hotel. It is a beautiful home; clean and well led and supported by caring and knowledgeable staff. The respite care my mum received at Cranford Grange was excellent. I have nothing but admiration for the care staff and for the way my mum was looked after. Mum said 'I felt safe there and everyone was very kind and helped me'. There is a full programme of activities everyday and great thought goes into organising events. There is always something going on. The food at Cranford is inventive, fresh and varied. Mum enjoyed the food very much. If you’re a carer reading this, you will probably understand how emotional and traumatic arranging your loved ones first stay within a care setting is. The staff at Cranford Grange took the time to allay my fears and patiently answered the many questions I had. Thank you everyone at Cranford.
My father recently completed 4 weeks of respite care in Cranford Grange after suffering a heart attack. Cranford Grange has been outstanding in every respect and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone engaged in the sometimes soul-destroying search for somewhere caring, stimulating and trustworthy to look after an elderly relative. Every member of staff without exception has been friendly, caring and competent, taking time to get to know my dad and his needs and interests. Such care was taken to place him at a table for meals with other residents with whom he had something in common. The home itself is beautiful with lovely grounds to sit out in and walk around on a sunny day. There are plentiful activities available and a lovely dining room with a wide range of menu options. The 'bistro' area is a wonderful social area and more in keeping with a hotel than a care home. My dad enjoyed meeting friends and family there for coffee on several occasions. Thank you all so much!
