View Full Details of Lancaster CourtMoving in during the festive period is always a challenge but Lancaster Court made the transition smooth and pain-free for everyone. Simple touches like remembering everyone's name demonstrate the personal touch of all the staff team.
My mum has been a resident of Lancaster Court since March 2019 and I can not praise the care she has received highly enough. All throughout Covid and since the staff have been kind, friendly, and caring, always involving us in decisions and keeping us fully involved with Mum's care. Mum is comfortable, happy and most of all safe. I've lost count of the people I have recommended to Lancaster Court! Keep doing the amazing job you do it's very much appreciated! Thank you.
My father has lived at Lancaster Court for 12 years next February, and we couldn't be happier with the love and care provided. He is very happy there, he likes to join in with the activities, they cater for everyone, a bit of bingo, singing (even the manager does his bit by putting on a bit of a show singing) gardening, painting, cooking even a bit of yoga with I've even joined in myself! There is so much to do. The staff are very friendly, it's like one big happy family. I would recommend this care home to anyone, which I have!
Very clean excellent communication staff very friendly and helpful. When something happens the staff ring as soon as they can. Food looks edible although my dad doesn't appreciate it. He always eats it.
I have been coming more or less every day to see my wife who has been here for six years. In my opinion, everything is as it should be. The staff are wonderful from the management down to the cleaners and they always have a smile on their faces. I am extremely happy that my wife is here and so grateful for all the love and care she gets here.
I think Lancaster Court Care Home is doing a fantastic job with the care they are providing to my aunt as she has been cared for in the best possible way and I'm more than happy to recommend this care home and the team from management to the nurses and health care!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lancaster Court, as my sister is a resident there. I must say it is an absolutely beautiful location. The surroundings are serene and meticulously maintained, making every moment there feel special. The staff went above and beyond to make my experience comfortable and enjoyable, showing a true commitment to exceptional service.
My sister is loving it here. I am happy with the service that my sister is receiving in the care home. The staff are lovely and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy. The home made the transfer for my sister easy and comfortable. My sister is settling well.
A homely, caring, and delightful place. My mother-in-law has been a resident for 11 months since discharge from the hospital. She has settled in very well and seems very happy and well cared for. Visitors are welcome at all times and the staff are always friendly, caring, and helpful. Management and staff are exceptional.
My auntie always had a great experience at Lancaster Court Care Home, the staff and nurses couldn't be more supportive and helpful. The home itself is beautifully kept and comfortable. I would recommend it highly as a permanent residence of a respite and stay.
I visited my grandmother and I am pleased to say that I am impressed with the effort the staff put in to look after the residents. They take great care of everyone as they support everyone's needs. The care home is well-maintained and spacious and the management is very supportive. Staff are always dedicated to their job and give their best. I recommend this care home knowing that loved ones are in a safe and caring environment.
This was my first visit to see Mum in the care home as I was recovering from an operation. I was really happy to see how bright the care home was and meet the lovely staff looking after my mum. My aunt and uncle said also how welcoming they found the home to be.
I am very happy with the way my brother is being cared for. Pleasant location, pleasant staff and a pleasant atmosphere. My brother is very happy with the quality of the food, the comfort of his room, and the attitude of the staff.
Excellent staff. Friendly, reliable, caring and nothing too much trouble. The chef always looking to find a meal/drink for my friend. Very grateful. A particular staff member gave me excellent support and care, another staff member was wonderful too and of course another two particular members of staff were also excellent. Thank you all very much.
So caring in such a difficult time, my mother struggled in the end, her last few weeks were made easier by the way the care home looked after her, and they were very sympatric with us as a family.
My mother was sent to Lancaster Court from the hospital for palliative care, which we were not expecting. The staff were extremely kind and caring with the family and my mother. They all helped us through a very tough time as she sadly passed away last Thursday after only three weeks.
We, as a family, were extremely happy with the care my mum received. When she first went into the home until such time as she went to the upper level due to her ill health. They always notified me if Mum had a bump. She has her hair done weekly, and a chiropodist tends her feet on a regular basis and the carers also took time to paint Mum's fingernails. The nursing staff were excellent. Thank you.
I was recommended for my wife to be a resident in Lancaster Court and I am so pleased that I accepted the advice. It is a well-run care home with plenty of staff who are well-trained. The care home is kept spotlessly clean, my wife’s room is a nice size and the home feels ‘homely’. The food is really good, a variety of meals, and overall my wife is looked after. Thank you Lancaster Court and I would definitely recommend them without hesitation.
Cannot say thank you enough to the manager and his team for the way that they handled my father's care. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough, if you have a relative in palliative care. They handled the continuous care application and went the extra mile when we had issues with the transfer from hospital. The place was very clean. Food was of a standard you would expect and the laundry service had things back in his cupboard within a few hours, which was amazing.
My wife has been a resident for just over a year. During this time the staff have been brilliant ensuring that her dignity is maintained at all times. They all have time for her and go the extra mile to ensure her stay is as comfortable. The family are very happy with her care and are particularly impressed with the regular emails and relative meetings which ensure that we are all fully involved with her nursing care. Would I recommend the home to someone looking for a place for a loved one - unreservedly yes. I'm just amazed that CQC haven't rated Lancaster Court as outstanding.
