View Full Details of Tunbridge Wells Care CentreWhen I came to visit a friend who is in your care I was very impressed with everything I saw and the help I was given and saw given to the residents.
All of the staff at Tunbridge Wells Care home are wonderful. I cannot praise them enough. Hard working, kind, caring and attentive. The home provides daily activities for residents that provides stimulation and fun.The residents rooms all have their own bathrooms, the bedrooms are light and exceptionally clean. The residents are very well cared for at all times.
When my husband was first sent to Tunbridge Wells Care Centre from hospital I was very upset, and would have preferred somewhere closer to home. However due to the really good care and improvement in his health, care, and contentment I no longer have any concerns. He is being exceptionally well looked after, is putting on weight, and is happy.
Wonderful family feels to all that the staff undertakes. Nothing is too much to ask. Attention to detail is uppermost. The manager and her team are the ultimate professionals and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the care centre.
If I had to go into a care home I would be very happy to be one of the residents. The care and respect they give to each resident is excellent keeping families informed at all times if a problem occurs, and trying very hard to keep residents stress-free as they come to terms with their new environment.
Always fantastic care from all the staff, rooms cleaned every day, regular updates on the care plan and always called directly to be informed of any treatment needed. Nothing is too much trouble, we feel very lucky to have our relative there.
My mum stayed here after a stay in hospital and was so well looked after, she gained all the weight she lost in hospital very quickly. The care staff are all patient and kind and all the residents are content. She enjoyed the activities, games, and food and we are very grateful.
My husband was admitted into Tunbridge Wells Care Centre just before Christmas after time spent in hospital. I cannot fault anything about the home. The rooms are just the right size. Staff excellent in all areas. He seems happy with the food. Also, it's very local to me which makes a huge difference.
My Mum is very happy and well looked after. She loves all the staff and the activities. Her family is happy that she is being care for by such kind and empathetic staff. We have no concerns.
Tunbridge Wells Care Centre is like home-from-home. Mum was cared for beautifully by lovely carers. Nursing staff were on the ball/kept you informed. Doctors visited regularly. An online portal allowed updates on a daily basis. Mum's room/en-suite was cleaned daily and we never found it dirty. The food was good with lots of choice. Residents were encouraged to eat or were helped. Residents can wander around the floor where they reside with no restriction, but they are secure. Daily activities were varied. Mum would be up dancing/enjoying the games, the live singers and coffee mornings held in reception. She enjoyed the beautiful garden and the ducks walking around. We sadly lost our mum in July, but we know she was well looked after and so were we as a family. This care home should have a CQC rating of excellent. We spent most of every day/all day with our mum, as there is no restriction on visiting. We would highly recommend this home.
My brother has been in the Care Centre for several years now, and I cannot praise the care he receives too highly. All the staff, whatever their status, are warm, friendly, truly caring and draw out the best in him, talking to him about his pet subjects. Their communication with me is also extremely good. He always looks clean and tidy, and he is extremely happy there, loving the food, activities and his surroundings. The building is light and beautifully designed, and the garden is a delight, where he spends many happy hours. Above all, the Centre is spotlessly clean and smells fresh, unlike other care homes which I visited in the past, in respect of my mother and aunt, and more recently, when looking for a home for my brother. I feel very grateful that the Centre was recommended to me, and I now recommend it to others whenever the opportunity arises.
My dad has been in the home since 3rd August; he has received excellent care, and the staff are all very helpful, friendly and professional. The home is kept very clean, and his washing is undertaken on a daily basis. Dad is showered daily and always looks presentable when we visit.
My mum is in very good hands in this care home. The carers are very polite, charming and very professional. They have lots of stimulating activities, someone comes in once a month and plays live music (all the old classics) and you'd be surprised how many get singing along. A wonderful site to see. It was my mum's birthday in June and we as a family had a 'quiet room' to have a small celebration, unbeknown to us the kitchen had cooked Mum a beautiful birthday cake and some of the carers bought it in singing 'Happy Birthday'! That meant a lot to Mum and to us. All of their care is logged and you can access it through a portal. As a family, we are all extremely happy with the care Mum/wife is receiving and wouldn't want Mum to be cared for anywhere else.
I visited my uncle on the 25th of June. Excellent reception, so helpful. The home was immaculate, his room was cool and airy on such a hot day. The staff were courteous and could not do enough. Wonderful domestic staff, have time for the guests and residents. The food was beautifully presented and the soup was great. Thank you.
Always friendly and helpful staff. Room and bed always clean, sister well cared for and we know in very safe hands. Sadly I always find underwear in her drawers that doesn’t belong to her, I expect this can sometimes be difficult.
My mother has had excellent care, the staff are always there and are very helpful, they show compassion, and there is always an activity for her to participate in. They always let me know how she is and she has regular health checks.
As a family, we remain so grateful to all the staff working at Tunbridge Wells Care Centre. Our relative continues to receive outstanding care from the staff, at all levels. We know that our relative is safe and happy and that his needs are being extremely well managed. The home is always spotlessly clean and fresh and the staff are always warm and welcoming. Our relative is happy and enjoys living at Tunbridge Wells Care Centre. He has come more and more out of his shell, which is a joy for us to witness. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tunbridge Wells Care Centre, who are also fortunate to have an excellent GP attending to the residents. Thank you to all the staff, for your kindness and compassion.
I am very happy with the care staff, nursing staff and the activities ladies. They are always very caring and happy and nothing is too much trouble. They always have time to listen. I am always kept informed about anything to do with my mum's well-being. The activities ladies are wonderful. They encourage Mum to get involved even though sometimes she doesn't want to! Keep up your wonderful work.
This was a wonderful safe haven for my mother who was disabled and suffered dementia through Covid, she was normally a very independent woman who took herself out daily until Covid struck then she really struggled and it was dangerous living alone. She loved the centre, especially the company from staff and patients. I just wish she had longer there, unfortunately, she has passed away but I can only say a big thank you for giving her pleasure in her final months.
All the staff are friendly, caring and supportive. Mum has been at the care home for 2 years now. She settled in very well and is treated with respect and dignity. The activities and being surrounded by company have helped her wellbeing. A good variety of meals on the menu, especially the puddings!
