Really good. Tentative staff. Interior of the flat is very well decorated and looked after.

Our son has been at Oakleigh Lodge for over 4 and a half year. This was a newly-developed care home for approximately 10 residents when he moved in. It was a well-managed and good care home which provided appropriate support for our son for a couple of years. The service was then able to expand. At this time, it outgrew the manager's skills and experienced significant deterioration. Steps were taken to address this, including major changes in staff at all levels and of the management structure. It was a carefully managed process but took approximately 18 months for the home to regain it's good reputation, with increased capacity for around 16-18 residents. Throughout the process, diligence was given to rectify problems and ensure their care continued with minimal disruption. The situation has been turned around and it is currently a care home ranking in all assessments between good and excellent. The management structure is well developed. Staff seem happy and put together very well. The residents appear well cared for and contented. Families and friends are welcomed to be involved and the environment is well-maintained and very pleasing.
