I could not fault the care given to my husband during his stay after a severe stroke. They made sure his final days were happy, he was treated with respect at all time as was I. I thoroughly recommend the home to anyone. First class care!

Halden Heights have looked after mum brilliantly for the last 18 months. She has needed lots of care and attention, which they never failed to provide, with dignity, professionalism, and kindness. She was in good hands and we never had to worry. Thank you all for your care and kindness.

Halden Heights Nursing Home cared for my husband in his last weeks, throughout the care was professional, caring and kind. He was watched closely and all his needs were attended to and whenever there was a change in his condition, I was told, either personally when I visited or by telephone call. The atmosphere was always cheerful and the staff even made my husband smile! Halden Heights is an excellent home, I thoroughly recommend it.

Halden Heights Nursing Home is an exceptional Care Home. The warmth and care expressed by all members of the team makes you feel welcome and reassured. The atmosphere is that of kindness understanding smiles and love with professionalism and respect for everyone living there. I am a retired nurse with 40 plus years experience and have encountered many care and nursing homes during my working life and I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Halden Heights as an option for anyone requiring additional support later in life where their quality of life will be enhanced and enjoyed.

The care home has wonderful staff who are kind and considerate. My mother was comfortable and treated with respect. They kept us well informed and were exemplary when my mother was dying. The home was always clean and fresh when we visited.

My mother lived at Halden Heights for 20 months. She had vascular dementia and was always treated with kindness, respect and dignity. I can't fault the care she was given. We were always informed promptly of any issues and updated regularly. Special thanks to the staff on Daisy Floor. They are very special people.

My father commenced living at the home after several falls and an end of life diagnosis. Although it was a mentally difficult time for him, he and I appreciated the kindness, professionalism and attention that he received from all of the staff. During the last difficult days, he was able to maintain his dignity and at the same time be given the help that he needed in a way that met his own personal needs. From the moment my father entered the nursing home to when he passed away, I can honestly say that all of the staff were helpful, kind and patient. If my father had remained in the community, I do not think that I would have been able to provide him with that level of care even with help from external agencies. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they did for my father and I know that he was grateful also, although not able to fully communicate this at the end.

The care and compassion was absolutely amazing. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They made my husband's journey peaceful, pain-free and a wonderful experience in spite of his challenging condition.

This is a wonderful care home and was where our Dad spent his final years, in safety and comfort, as a dementia patient/resident. From day one, the manager and the team made Dad at home, feel loved and protected. They are a truly special team who clearly form bonds with the residents, which carries over into their dutiful, attentive and loving care. We also want to give thanks to the owners who have continued to invest in the facility, and in particular the gardens and grounds. Spectacular in the summertime. I would highly recommend Halden Heights to anybody.

In my experience, all staff are friednly, respectful and caring to residents/visitors. Any issues being dealt with speedily. However, if there is one concern I have, it would be staffing levels at the weekend! I appreciate that organising weekend rotas is not an easy task especially when holidays and sickness come into the mix. I would point out that this is a personal observation, but one I hope is not overlooked.

We were very pleased with the care that our relative received at Halden Heights. He was admitted following palliative care at Hospital and he received excellent care at Halden Heights until he passed. Staff were attentive and helpful. As we live a distance away, it was very important to us that our relative was safe and well looked after. We found this to be the case at Halden Heights and we are grateful to all involved in looking after our loved one. The manager was always very responsive to our requests and even responded to emails during the evening which we appreciated. In summary, Halden Heights appears to be very well run and managed, with staff who seem to take genuine care and interest in the wellbeing of the residents.

The care our lovely mum received at Halden Heights was absolutely amazing. All the staff are excellent and treated our mum with kindness, respect and compassion. As a family, we are so grateful to this wonderful care home. In her last days, not only were they caring for our mum, but also for us. Thank you Halden Heights for everything.

My Mum has been a resident of Halden Heights for the last 4 years. Over this time she has been well looked after by kind and considerate staff who all go the extra mile to make sure the residents are safe and comfortable. Furthermore, as a family, we feel that the staff also looked after us and have shown us all a great deal of kindness. The dedication, care and respect they have shown to our Mum in the last few years of her life has been quite amazing and we cannot thank them enough for this. We would highly recommend Halden Heights and are very grateful to all the staff there.

My husband went for 2 weeks into Halden Heights he and l cannot speak highly enough of them. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were so kind and caring and he was looked after royally. l would never look anywhere else if l needed respite care again. The room and gardens were beautiful. Thank you once again.

My father was confused and reluctant to leave his own home when he first came to Halden Heights. Within a week or so he had settled in happily. This was very much the result of the really excellent care he received. His carers/nurses were of course professional but they went far beyond that, making him feel that they really cared about him and showing him affection. I and my family also felt welcome and supported when we were here.

My father spent 3 weeks in Halden Heights where he was looked after with such care and kindness by all the staff there. He was at end of life, was pain-free and he was given his dignity. The nurses were always on hand, the most lovely team of helpers, cleaners, people handling out the lunch trolley etc. They were all managed by the amazing manager. Everyone could not have been more kind or sympathetic. Thank you.

After looking at three other care homes, Halden Heights came as a breath of fresh air. My sister-in-law was transferred from a hospice, where she received excellent care to Halden Heights where excellent care continued. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff in caring for her and looking after us whenever we visited.

The care home has wonderful staff who are kind and considerate. My mother was comfortable and treated with respect. They kept us well informed and were exemplary when my mother was dying. The home was always clean and fresh when we visited.

This is a wonderful care home and was where our Dad spent his final years, in safety and comfort, as a dementia patient/resident.
