View Full Details of Warren Lodge Care HomeI cannot rate the staff who work here enough. They are all so kind, caring and respectful. They always take time to talk to my mum and ensure she has everything she needs and that goes for relatives too. The home is kept really clean and smells nice. For me it's the small touches like putting on her makeup, spraying a little perfume on her pyjamas, presenting her pureed food so beautifully, holding her hand - nothing is too much. Its a very difficult and emotional time placing a relative in a home but I can honestly say, I wholeheartedly recommend Warren Lodge
This is my third experience of my loved ones' time in a care home. One thing I absolutely love, every month a resident is resident of the day, the staff calls and lets you know how your loved one is doing, such a lovely thing to do. I vary the days of my visits but it is always the same, excellent, in my opinion, five words describe this care home 'it's simply the best' and I feel that all care homes should be like this, but believe me they are not. I have entrusted my loved ones in their care, they do not disappoint.
I must praise the staff who are all exceptional. Extremely satisfied with their care and treatment.
On the whole very good, Mum has been accommodated and has been quite content with her stay. Her level of capacity I feel is somewhat higher than most residents so gainful companionship and communication is somewhat limited. Mum celebrated her 90th birthday in October. Warren Lodge supplied a fantastic party buffet and it was attended by family and friends so a massive thank you to the management and staff.
My mother had gone from the independence and security of her own house of over 50 years into the very new environment of a care home setting, which is a very overwhelming situation for everyone in that position, I am sure. However, all the team including managers, the reception staff, the care staff and all the nurses have turned somewhere new and alien to Mum into her home! Kindness and inclusion happen every day and the residents' emotional and mental health are always considered in a well-run and thoroughly hygienic environment. When Mum first arrived, she was obviously nervous in her new room and staff implemented measures immediately that very soon made my mum feel at home and she is now settled into a comforting routine. All the staff make time to chat to Mum and make her feel relevant every single day. My whole family cannot ever really thank staff enough for that, but I just wanted to tell you how grateful we all are and that we do know how well Mum is being looked after.
December is always a tough one for us for various reasons, so it was comforting to know that Mum was in a place where we didn't have to worry about her well-being, as we were rest assured that she would be thoroughly looked after. I would like to thank all the staff at the home for their continuous care and support. I always feel that there is someone who can answer my questions at this home, and I am thoroughly impressed by the overall cleanliness, range of activities and the facilities as a whole.
My initial reaction on first coming to Warren Lodge was really good with a clean and friendly home and staff. We have had a few communication issues regarding food, physio etc. But I believe we have now clarified these issues and are moving forward, as it seems my wife is settling into Warren Lodge now. Staff are extremely friendly, extremely helpful and seem to enjoy their jobs. Providing communication issues mentioned above are resolved, I can only see plusses going forward.
I'm so happy with the way that Nan is looked after, they keep her lovely and clean and the room is kept very tidy. They have time to sit and talk to her and keep us updated with her care and meds. We treat it like her home which means we can have tea and cake with her which she loves. The food is all homemade and looks very tasty. Oh, and the dog is made very welcome too!
Mum is not an easy person to get on with but all of the staff give Mum the care you could hope for. She is always lovely and clean. The staff spend their time feeding her and giving her drinks and treats.
Warren Lodge is a well-run home with caring staff, helpful admin staff and good management/leadership. Everything is kept clean and smelling nice - especially the bedrooms, which are kept immaculate. When Mum first arrived the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food is of good quality, and you can see the menu is put together with nutrition and variety in mind. I think with any large aged care home, it is hard to cater for residents' individual needs/likes/dislikes, however, Warren Lodge seems to give the personal touch and leave as much decision-making to the individual residents, to make them feel they are in control as much as possible. If we ever have any problems they are more than happy to discuss and rectify where they can. I can't say a bad word. I am very happy with Warren Lodge, a first-class care facility. We were very lucky to have got a spot for Mum.
Warren Lodge was recommended to be by my neighbour whose husband is a resident at Warren Lodge. I booked a show round to look at Warren Lodge, the home is clean and the staff are friendly. It was an easy decision to move my husband there given what I saw during my visit. The staff are friendly, from the receptionist, the staff member who showed me around and the Home Manager whom we saw dancing with residents. Warren Lodge is homely.
What a wonderful place this is; my mother was a furiously independent woman who provided respite care for families with learning difficulties as her long profession and would have dreaded going into a home herself but having said that, my mum was very content and enjoyed her short stay of a little over eight months at Warren Lodge Care Home where she was cared for first-class right up to her last moments of life. A very special place. Thank you to everybody, cleaners, carers and management.
The home is clean and the staff are very lovely. I can't fault the care that my sister is receiving in this home. Where I have had concerns the manager was able to resolve them and I felt reassured. Great place for dementia care.
Happy, happy, happy - Could I be happier with Warren Lodge - absolutely not! The rest of the family share the same sentiment about this care home. This home is everything Dad wanted and more. The staff are highly professional, skilled at what they do and always a system of support for Dad. I know the job is not easy but I can't fault the staff at this home. We are thankful for them and feel at ease knowing that Dad is in good hands. I met with the new manager a few times now and he is very pleasant, glad to have him on board managing the daily on goings at the home. He is very knowledgeable, approachable and always makes himself available when needed, seems to have a good sense of humour on him as well which is always welcomed - another aspect to make us feel at peace. If you are looking for a care home for your loved one Warren Lodge should be on top of the list - Highly recommended.
A very pleasant, clean and welcoming home, it really has a home feel to it. The manager was very approachable, patient, professional and very kind. The staff are always kind and considerate, you can tell they are passionate about what they do and the difference they make to people's lives in a positive way is so immeasurable.
I visited Warren Lodge to see my mum almost daily for over a year. The staff were always kind, compassionate and caring and treated, not only my mum but all of the residents with the utmost respect. The disease is difficult to deal with and the fact that my mum had to leave us to go into care made it extremely challenging for us a family. However, she was well looked after and all of her basic care was taken care of, which enabled us to have more quality time with her. The facilities are very good and the food and the abundance of it is exceptional! The activities were also well thought through, and it was nice to see my mum with her nails varnished on regular basis or a lovely flower display in her room from the activities. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home. The staff are amazing and they are very very caring.
Very caring, the manager and his management team are always ready to help and go the extra mile. Thank you so much for your help and support for our loved ones. The home is very clean. Varieties of food for choice. Good activities support.
New manager very welcoming friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, approachable. I met him today 28/12/22 I have never felt like this since I have been visiting my friend. My friend said he seems a very nice man when he visited him in his room.
My husband lives at Warren Lodge. I am happy with the care and with the manager. Things get done very well.
