My husband has been in Blandford Grange Care Home, approaching 4 years now. I have found the staff very friendly, caring and cooperative. They are all very kind to the residents and treat them with respect. Always ready to assist when asked. The entertainment is great and the residents enjoy. There have been changes in management which has been a little stressful as the maintenance of the home and grounds has suffered somewhat. But we now have a new manager so hopefully this will be good.

The staff make the care home a safe and caring home from home. My mum has had some difficulty with understanding some of the overseas staff initially but is fine now. She enjoys the wonderful cooked food and homemade cakes. I feel safe in the knowledge that she is cared for, the staff are engaging and friendly and I always enjoy my visits. I do feel however, there would be a benefit in having one more member of staff to cover when other staff members are occupied in rooms.

My experience as a visitor is excellent. All the staff are helpful and friendly and very caring regarding the residents. They are always willing to answer any queries and make me feel very welcome.

My friend lived at Blandford Grange for six years. Throughout she was well cared for and despite being bedbound, the staff continued to involve her in activities. All of the staff fully engaged with her and she enjoyed the interaction. During her last few days of life, she was well supported. This was vital as she had few close relatives nearby. I believe her quality of life, although limited was enhanced by being in the home and not in her own home.

My brother and I cannot express the warmth and love we feel for all at Blandford Grange Care Home. Mum lived out her last seventeen months (suffering from dementia with Lewy bodies) surrounded by wonderful people who cared, cleaned, cooked and laughed with her. They became her family and friends. Activities were important with singing, crafts and nail painting evident on visiting! She wasn't lonely anymore. Mum passed away very peacefully, comfortably with dignity and love which was a natural release. Thank you for being there for us.

From the moment you step into Blandford Grange Care Home, you feel a friendly, welcoming, calm atmosphere. It is a well-run care home which employs genuinely caring, compassionate staff. The rooms are spacious and you are encouraged to bring as many pictures in as you like to have. There is a wide range of activities that actually happen and the singers are fantastic. I feel grateful that Mum is now living in such a relaxed and caring environment. It has taken the weight off my shoulders.

The care my wife received in Blandford was exceptional. The entire team were always so welcoming, so friendly, always smiling and could never do enough to help. From a personal point of view, time at the care home could not have been any better for my wife, myself or my family. Not only did they always put my wife's needs first but always made sure I was looked after. Her time at the care home was the happiest it could have ever been. I would strongly advise anyone considering Blandford to go and meet the team as this is what makes it shine and stand out, due to the positive willing attitudes of the entire team. Thank you to all.

It has been lovely to be able to come and visit my nan, who has been here, at the care home, for the past eight months. She is being well looked after and is safe here in the care of the carers. Whenever I've come to see my nan, she is always looked after and content. She takes part in activities and is kept company by the carers, who take the time to make her feel comfortable and well looked after.

A fabulous, caring, "family" atmosphere. My mother has been a resident of Blandford Grange Care Home for nearly a year and in this time, has received the highest standard of care and understanding, even in the most difficult of times. I am, along with the rest of my family, extremely grateful for the care my mother has and is having. Thank you.

My mother-in-law has recently moved to this care home and it is the best home that she has been a resident in (after four other homes over the last six and half years). The care is excellent and all staff are courteous and helpful and keep us updated on her well-being. It has a calm and relaxing atmosphere and she has never been so well cared for. Despite her having dementia, she is kept active and involved in all activities which take place on a daily basis.

Christmas was brilliant, couldn't do enough for us. The staff were happy, laughing caring. Always laughing, always smiling. A very happy place, like a comfy blanket. The care is brilliant. Management always ready to talk with you. Staff are always helpful. I know my husband is safe and well cared for. Nothing is too much trouble. The manager is a very hands-on, happy person. He's made a huge difference since he started. I can't praise him enough. He really cares about the people in his care and this is passed on through his staff.

I would like to thank everyone who acted so quickly to my dad on Monday this week and looked after my mum who was upset with all that was going on. All the staff called into his room after and checked he was okay. You've got a good team of workers that pulled together... It really made us realise that we did the right thing in placing Dad with you all. Thank you very much.

My dad came into your care in 2019. I cannot express my gratitude to your dedicated staff for their care for him. The respect they showed my dad was impeccable. My dad passed away on 20th September 2023. The staff who was with him when he passed, I will forever be grateful as I couldn't be with him, unfortunately. Thank you all so very much on behalf of myself and my husband for the way we were treated and felt as if we were part of your family.

My mother has been a resident at Blandford Grange for 8 weeks. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and caring. From what I have observed when visiting, they treat all the residents with compassion and dignity. They attend to her needs with a gentleness even when it is not easy. The management, admin, hospitality staff are all friendly and welcoming and keep me informed of any changes. I cannot comment on activities as my mother does not engage with them but apparently, the Coronation party was a great success and enjoyed by all who were there. I would recommend Blandford Grange to anyone looking for a genuine, well-run nursing home.

Mum passed away yesterday at Blandford Grange Care Home. The family would like to express our grateful thanks for the excellent care given to Mum in the past year. You have all treated us with kindness throughout what has been a very tough year for the family. Your dedication and thoughtfulness were and still is a credit to you all.

My husband spent his final two weeks in the care of Blandford Grange Care Home. He was comfortable, not in pain and cared for as I would have wished to care for him at home had this been possible.

I feel the nursing home has done an amazing job throughout the pandemic and since. The staff are always polite and helpful even when mum is sometimes distressed and rude due to her medical conditions.

The Grange Care Home is a very caring and well-run nursing home. Everyone is friendly and professional. Clean and bright furnishings and a warm and friendly atmosphere.
