View Full Details of Highcroft Hall Residential Care HomeIn the round, we are very pleased with the care provided mum at Highcroft Hall. It is our first experience of placing a parent in care so I am not sure what 'excellent' might look like. However on all attributes below we feel the service is good to excellent.
My Mom recently passed in Highcroft after being with them for over 8 years. I want to praise the care and support she received during her time. The staff on the top floor were very good- one staff member in particular was wonderful during her stay and her last days. Thanks to the team.
First impressions: Clean, all staff very helpful and friendly while visiting my relative, it's nice to observe how the staff react with other residents. Any problems are dealt with immediately, very impressive! We can leave my mother in law knowing that we have no worries or concerns when we get home. She is well looked after. Thank you to all the staff.
My aunt is currently a resident, and my mother was here for a short while before she passed away. I think the staff here are wonderful, they treat the residents with dignity and respect. The home is always clean with a welcoming atmosphere. Perhaps the entertainment and activities could be improved a little. But the overall standard of care is is excellent.
Mom has been cared for extremely well and all her needs have been met in full by exceptional staff and management. Mom is very happy there and there is always a friendly atmosphere and regular activities laid on for everyone. The opportunity for trips out is also a good way to bring back memories and socialise. Very happy to recommend Highcroft Hall after the experience both Mom and myself have experienced.
My father has been cared for at Highcroft Hall now for over two years, the facilities are very good and the staff and management are very caring and friendly to deal with. Visiting is really easy and turn up as and when we want with good parking. Dad is very comfortable there and his room and ensuite bathroom are in mint condition at all times. Communication is great.
I am very happy with the care at Highcroft Sanctuary care. My mother has been there since March 2023. The staff are lovely and caring and always have time to talk in their busy schedule. Management are always approachable and welcoming. I feel happy that my mother is in a safe and caring place.
Dad has been at Highcroft Hall now for over a year and we are so pleased with the genuine care, love and attention he receives every day. It was a very difficult decision for dad to go into care, but we have piece of mind that the team supports dad with his needs. There are plenty of activities, entertainment and the staff really make a fuss of dad which lifts his wellbeing. We are regularly asked if we want anything added to his care plan and any potential concerns are addressed and actioned. A huge thank you to the manager and all the wonderful staff that all work really hard.
She first went in for respite and was made so welcome and at ease by all the management and staff. She asked if she could live there and give her home up, so we know she must feel happy and safe to do that. We have seen a marked improvement in her. Many thanks to all.
Nan entered the home as a respite care case with the intention of only staying for a few weeks. Nan quickly became comfortable in her ensuite room. One huge difference between Highcroft Hall Residential Care Home and the previous facility none attended is that she has the freedom to choose where she spends her time. Nan has enjoyed her time here so much that she has decided to stay as a permanent resident.
My mother went into Highcroft Hall Residential Care Home to start with two weeks respite and decided herself she wanted to stay. The care she gets from all the staff is wonderful, they make her feel safe. Would definitely recommend Highcroft Hhall, thanks to all the staff for looking after Mum and putting me and my family at ease knowing she's got 24-hour care.
Mom desperately needed respite care, so we applied for Highcroft Hall, mom was very reluctant after Respite at a different home, The manager at Highcroft did a home visit and gently won her round. The initial stay was 2 weeks, the first week was hard as she only had a memory of the previous one, slowly they built up her confidence and we were surprised when she wanted to stay another week, then an extra week, 4 weeks in total, she started to be like our Mom again, not a constant worry for her safety and wellbeing. The fourth week came and she then decided that being on her own again wasn't what she wanted, so she made the decision to become a permanent resident, which for us as a family was a massive relief. She is looking better than she has in a very long time, put a bit of weight on, and the staff are amazing. They are so caring and you can tell from just being in there that they all enjoy what they do, attend when you want, very clean and we are so thankful to this fabulous team.
I have been very pleased with the care and support my mum has received at Highcroft Hall Residential Care Home. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they always treat the residents with dignity and respect. The care manager is very professional and approachable, and she keeps me up to date with what’s going on with regular meetings. The home is clean and comfortable, and there are plenty of activities for the residents to enjoy. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones.
Highcroft Hall Care Home is an excellent home. They cared for my grandad with understanding, friendliness and he was always happy there. They made sure he was comfortable and cared for in his last days. I would recommend Highcroft Hall to anyone.
Came to visit Highcroft Hall and the staff were so friendly and the home was very welcoming. I thought how nice it seemed and how happy people seemed to live there. I have never had a bad experience when visiting
Mom has been a resident at Highcroft Hall since January this year. Previously she had been in and out of hospital every couple of months even with four care visits a day. Since she has been at Highcroft Hall she has not been ill once. She is much happier and healthier than she had been for the previous couple of years-testament in itself of the amazing care, support and friendship provided by the wonderful staff and management. Mom feels that it is her home and it is lovely to visit her there.
My mom has been a resident since April 2020 and has always been looked after by the staff well. Unfortunately, her health has deteriorated recently. The home contact me regularly regarding my mom's well being, updates from the GP and any changes in her medication. Mom is happy and always smiling. The staff treat her with dignity and respect.
Staff are always so welcoming and warm, we were shown to our lovely table decorated for the platinum jubilee which we shared with my dad. The food was beautiful and we felt thoroughly spoilt, it was so nice to eat a meal with my dad, and Dad really enjoyed it too. The entertainment was lovely, I felt everybody had gone above and beyond for us all the enjoy this special day.
Always find staff very caring, lovely to know. Activities are on the app. Room always seems clean and tidy and most important my husband seems happy and settled in the home. Had a lovely lunch my husband and daughter for the jubilee celebration food was very good everyone seemed to be working very hard.
My mom went into Highcroft Hall Residential Care Home for respite care after coming out of the hospital. The team were brilliant from my first call and organised a room and care at short notice when we were quite anxious. The rooms are excellent as is the quality of care she has received, the staff are friendly and accessible, and we really appreciate the little things that are available like having a hairdresser on site. Mom has recovered much better than she would have done at home and having access to 24-hour care is reassuring for us all. Hopefully, she will transition back to living in her own house shortly. I am very happy to recommend HIghcroft Hall Residential Care Home and would like to say a huge thank you to all the team who are providing her care.
