My wife has been in respite for 7 weeks now. The staff have been wonderful in looking after her.
Very happy with Mum's care and well-being. She is doing very well there.
We are more than happy with the care that my aunt is getting. She is happy and well looked after and looks clean and well. Parkview always treats the residents with kindness and respect.
Parkview is the most wonderful place, we could not be happier with the care and support you have provided Mum. We have had a difficult few years with Mum still loving alone but since she arrived at Parkview in November I can honestly say, it is like a weight of worry has been lifted. We know she is safe, cared for and happy. All of the staff have endless patience and nothing is too much trouble. The staff have taken time to get to know my Mum as a person and her interests, and this is reflected in how well she has settled in. We cannot thank all the staff enough for their continued care.
I moved my mother to this home after her being in others and visiting and viewing 4 others, in this home there is something extra special that the others don't bring to the table. I am so very pleased that she has been accepted and is fitting in with lots of effort the staff provide.
Still breaks my heart to see my beautiful wife end her days like this, but content with the knowledge that she is in the best place. The home is so well run, always clean, warm and comfortable, and the staff are exceptional, doing a very difficult job with patience, caring, and understanding. As much as I love my wife, I'm not sure I could give her what she gets from the caring staff at Parkview. Can't see their wings, but angels, every one of them. Keep up the good work.
My father was in Park View for respite care and was very happy in the home, always smiling and well looked after. The staff are always about to ensure the care and safety of the residents and ensuring they are entertained regularly, either by group exercise, or external people coming in to entertain and stimulate the residents. Guests are always made welcome and encouraged to join in with activities. This was so important for my mother who after over 60 years of being married found it hard to see my father going into a care home even for respite. Bringing them together in a happy and fun environment made it so much easier for her to cope with the separation.
My mother has been a resident here for 5 1/2 years. She was always treated with respect and dignity. The carers and management show such care and consideration to the residents. They make the activities fun and encourage everyone to join in. Sometimes Mum would just be happy to watch she was never forced to do anything she didn't want to do. Mum passed away there in July this year. We were both looked after so well I cannot fault the staff. They made mums last year's happy one for all of us.
My father has been in Park View for just over a year and we are very happy with his care. He is looked after very well and we are always informed of any problems that arise. The home is always very clean and the activities team arrange many activities to keep the residents active i.e. Singing, dancing, and art and crafts to name a few.
I'm a regular visitor to Parkview and it is such a welcoming, happy care home where the staff really care about the residents and go the extra mile to keep them occupied with many varied activities on offer which all are encouraged to join in. The interaction between staff and residents is wonderful to witness, resulting in a very happy and caring atmosphere where residents can feel they belong, that this is their home.
It was my aunt's 100th birthday today and the reopening. The staff spoilt her and were so accommodating. It is in my eyes one of the best homes around, the staff all seem caring. We would like especially to thank one member of staff in particular for all she has done.
My mum-in-law went into Parkview May 22. We live in Spain and were a bit upset at the time but family in the UK arranged and did their best for her. She has dementia and couldn't stay in her home. She took time to settle but with the care of the staff it is now not a home it's her home. It's great for us to be able to look at the social media page and see what she is doing each day. It helps us feel connected. The staff were fab when sadly they had the fire. You only have to look at the videos of them welcoming back the residents to see what a great place it is. It says more than words ever could.
Caring friendly care staff. Great communication between staff and relatives as to health and welfare. Support staff always have time to welcome and greet visitors. Reassured my relative receives care and support for her needs. Lots of entertainment and different activities if residents wish to join in. Thank you
My initial phone call made me feel cared for. I was invited for a show round with my husband which confirmed Parkview was the right place. All staff warmly welcomed us, a meeting with the manager and deputy was very positive. On the day of arrival for the stay we were shown to the room and provided with a welcome tray of tea/coffee/biscuits. I understand my husband was happy for the week and participated in activities. Thank you.
I have found excellent care for my husband. He has various issues and has been treated with dignity. With all care homes staffing can be a problem but Parkview staff are a high calibre and try hard to make sure all people treated well. If any issues arise, rarely, they are dealt with effectively.
The staff are very good and the care is excellent. The building is old but looking forward to seeing it after the refurbishment. On the whole, the residents are very happy and as a relative, my views and concerns are always addressed regarding my mother-in-law’s care and well-being.
My dad has been at Parkview since 2020 the care is really good always informs me if there is anything wrong with Dad. The staff always have time to talk to me and above all they look after Dad really well he needs are always taken care of.
Mother was admitted to Bexleyheath Care Home in 2018. Mum had her own room which was pleasant. As a suggestion, a separate to room to the TV room to keep the enjoyment of the room segregated for those residents to enjoy.
Mum arrived at Parkview in December 2016, for a long weekend respite. She felt comfortable from the moment she arrived, and decided to stay. Mum loves the company and activities and organised entertainment, if she wants a quiet moment she can spend time in her very comfortable room with all her own things around her. The staff are very caring, attentive and very professional. Mum loves the good quality food which is freshly prepared and suits her tastes. She enjoys having her hair done at the hairdresser, and her daily exercise of walking the corridors, then taking a rest in the lounge finding someone to talk to. The home is very clean and bright and provides a lovely safe place for Mum. It is wonderful having peace of mind, knowing that she is so well looked after and happy.
Parkview is now Dad's home. He is very comfortable, has been welcomed with open, caring arms, and we, as his family, know that all his needs are being attended to. We are so grateful that we chose Parkview. Staff are excellent and go beyond to ensure a high level of care (and love) is provided for all! Thank you.
