View Full Details of Primrose CourtI cannot recommend Primrose Court highly enough. Each and every member of staff treats residents and their relatives with the greatest of care, dignity and respect. There is a genuine warmth and affection about the place which has meant that Primrose Court has been a real home from home for both my dad and my auntie. Their best interests have always been at the forefront of the care they have received and I have been kept well informed about their health and wellbeing. Staff have always acted promptly to ensure that they have been comfortable, and received any necessary medical treatment promptly. The food is excellent and the range of activities on offer means that there is something for everyone to enjoy. I will forever be grateful to the staff at Primrose Court for making the last couple of years of my dad's life happy and content and for continuing to go above and beyond to support both my auntie and myself, as part of the current Primrose Court family.
Mum has been a resident at Primrose Court for almost 3 years and she has received wonderful care from day one. However, she suffered a stroke and seizure on 26th January and died on 2nd February. In her respect care plan, it was agreed that the staff would support palliative care if needed. They were true to their word, every member of staff without fail, not only cared for mum to the end but my sister and I also, what a wonderful team, nothing was too much for them and we all felt so carefully held through this painful time.
My father started living at Primrose Court in late October 2024. From the first moment he crossed the threshold, he was welcomed by name and taken to see his room. Along the way to his room, numerous care staff welcomed him by name, which I felt really comfortable with, as it reaffirmed his feeling of belonging. The carers have always shown great interest in my father's life and are constantly encouraging him to engage in conversation. He takes great pleasure in showing photos of his life, family and travel experiences he and my mother made together. Thank you to all the staff, they are wonderful and work hard together to create a happy and caring environment that my father calls home.
Primrose Court is a lovely, high-quality care home with a really welcoming, kind, caring and supportive team of staff who always put the person at the centre of everything. The home and bedrooms are very well equipped, with enriching activities and great food with a choice. The Manager is friendly, extremely helpful and ensured my dad's needs were tailored to his needs. I felt confident, happy and at ease my dad was in the best, safe place and would highly recommend. Thank you all for your hard hard work and best wishes.
Prior to my grandmother being discharged from hospital to Primrose Court, I was worried about potential care at any residential/nursing facility. Primrose Court reduced all my concerns very quickly. The management, care, compassion, activities food and overall enrichment was first-class. As a healthcare professional, it is the best facility I have encountered. Thank you.
Having Mum in Primrose Court has been amazing, knowing that she is looked after 4/7. Staff are fabulous, kind, caring and have a brilliant sense of humour. It gives the family peace of mind knowing Mum is safe. The activities that are available every day keep Mum interested - fantastic.
Lovely, friendly residence. Very clean, and nothing is too much trouble. All staff members work very hard but also keep the atmosphere relaxed. Fantastic entertainment programme too.
I would highly recommend Primrose Court to anyone! The staff are really friendly and helpful and have made my mum so welcome. It is like one big family. The rooms are so clean and homely, and the food options are great. Thank you for caring for my mum like you do.
As this was my first time in respite care I was very apprehensive but immediately my daughter and I entered Primrose Court, it was warm welcoming and felt right. From the start of my stay to the end. My time was cheerful and made me feel humble and thankful that I had the ability to help those respite residents who required a little help and join them with activities. I highly recommend Primrose Court and hopefully will stay again if a room is available. Many thanks to them all.
Mum was very happy with the staff, including carers, cooks, cleaners and office.
All the staff are very caring towards residents and their relatives/loved ones. They offer various daily activities for residents to take part in, which offer stimulation and enjoyment to their days. The management arranges regular meetings with residents and their relatives to update everyone with up-and-coming events, and they welcome any suggestions made. Despite the outside space being tricky for residents to access, the management is doing everything in its power to improve this aspect of their care, and they're hoping to commence work in April 2024. This is wonderful to hear and very much appreciated by residents and their relatives. Thank you for all your hard work.
It was a big upheaval for Mum and us. Moving from living at home with us into a care home was daunting. The move happened fast, as the first care home move was a disaster, but the management team enabled the move to Primrose Court at short notice and made it as easy as possible for us. Mum has been a resident now for three months. There will always be teething problems as the team gets to know Mum and we get to know the team, but everyone had time to listen and acted on every query I raised. Everyone was just fab! The team are kind and caring and have a sense of humour, even on days when they are very busy. They always ensure the resident's dignity and confidentiality. Mum loves the food... it almost matches what we cook for her at home! I am very comfortable with Mum's care, and I can rest leaving her, knowing she is in safe hands with a team doing the very best they can taking care of her.
My mum moved into Primrose Court in July this year. She was very warmly welcomed by all the staff, who are all very caring and kind to my mum. Primrose Court has a very "homely" feel, and all the residents can take part in and enjoy the many activities and entertainment on offer. I would highly recommend Primrose Court to anyone looking for excellent care for their loved one.
Our family have just moved Mum and Dad to Primrose Court. This was a massive move for Mum and Dad. The staff could not have been better at ensuring that this difficult transition went smoothly and that Mum and Dad were welcomed and comfortable from the start. It is still early days after the move but the way they have settled into their new home is a testament enough. We look forward to Mum and Dad enjoying the facilities on offer at Primrose Court.
I am very happy with the manager and all the staff. They seem to do everything possible to make Mum's stay happy and safe sometimes under difficult circumstances. Can't praise everyone enough.
Dad has been a resident for just over 12 months and I am very happy with the level of care he has received. His room is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The meals are excellent with plenty of choices. The staff, without exception, are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and as a visitor, I feel welcomed. I am very happy that Dad is happy and safe.
I have found Primrose Court to be a warm, caring and happy place. I am so glad my father has settled in well. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Dad says the good is great. I always feel welcome when visiting. The activities they have are so much fun to keep everyone busy and smiling!

My mother has been a resident here for nearly 3 years and although now on end-of-life care I am happy with her care and treatment here.
Can't praise the staff enough for the help and support they give my dad and myself. I am informed straight away of any issues or concerns and also asked for my advice, so I never feel excluded from Dad's care.
